I really must commend Dollarnaira for his selfless service and support. You are such an excellent person. Reached out to him and he called and interceded on my behalf. Gave me guidelines and put me through the ropes. Thank you so very much. To Willmaria14, sorry for the stress and thank you too. This might be a faceless forum but it has a lot of excellent resources and wonderful people. 1 Like |

dollarnaira: See eh! This lack of full information is what these marketers exploit on this thread. The famicare was presented as a psw inverter, even though I went to Jumia to read the description and I noted to the seller that it says transformerless. Like I said I highly blame myself for not doing due diligence enough and for being so trusting. As it is now, in just a few hours of use I am already having issues. Pls I will reach out to you. Thank you |

saint2ace: Thanks sir. My electrician na one kain guy. At the end of the day he still took away the souer that is faulty which he earlier said cannot be fixed. I truly wanted a pure sine wave inverter. I guess I didn't do my due diligence enough. I will just hold on and save up to buy a bigger set up when the time comes. For now, let me manage this hehe and count my loss. It is just to stand in the gap for when PHCN fails. |
Science/Technology / Re: How To Create A Locally Made Inverter With Ease by Beninwitch: 7:56pm On Dec 20, 2020 |
dollarnaira: Many thanks sir. The inverter I believe got burnt from the generator. The generator had a faulty Avr and the current was too high. It was put on and it blew everything in the house including WiFi charger and phone chargers. It was later in discovered the souer inverter wasn't charging again. The electrician said it couldn't be fixed so I got a famicare. My smart TV used to hum very badly with the souer that watching TV was a chore. With the famicare the humming sound is less although present. I used blender of 230 Watts occasionally with the inverter but used only TV, energy bulbs and a battery free rechargeable fan. Are you saying it is not advisable to use ceiling fan on the inverter? My electrician said I can use ceiling fan as I have two 200amps battery. I have spent too much on this set up, let me be petting it like egg as advised. Thank you. |

Saint2ace, dollar naira, ceejay80s and other gurus in the house, I hail. Pls I need your input. I was using a souer 2000 watts inverter that got burnt. Someone recommended Famicare 1kva for me instead. Now, my installer that first got the souer for me said the Famicare is substandard and can't carry much load. Even said the Souer is a better and bigger inverter. Pls how true is this? |

Culture / Re: Basic Insights Of My Country Cameroon; With A Huge Nigerian Expatriate Community by Beninwitch: 5:14pm On Dec 16, 2020 |
grandlexuz: When I visited in March 1000frs was worth 550 naira and the police demanded 2000frs at every security post on the road. It was terrible! Only a few understood we were academics and allowed us pass with our letter of invite. But I did enjoy Kribii a tourist site. Quite expensive though but lovely. I would love to visit Cameroon again but only when the anger has dissolved and issues settled. I also visited Petite Terrace in Douala. Douola was very hot and Bamenda very cold. Do you know even in the university of Douala, the students from Bamenda and Dchang were attacked? Their bus damaged? I guess the pain is still there. But to me Nigeria remains a far better and more progressed country than Cameroon. The monopoly on business should be challenged for quicker development. I must mention also that some Cameroonians are very good drinkers. They like their alcohol. 1 Like |

Quite interesting. I have visited Cameroon and it is a beautiful country. But as I was reading your bias showed through. Immediately, I knew you were Francophone. Of course, as a visitor I don't know it all but I can say the Anglophones have been truly marginalized. There is a huge difference between Bamenda and Douola. I stayed in both cities. Bamenda hardly has electricity worsened by the curfew in place while Douola is bubbling as the seat of Francophone. I also noticed the Anglophones love Nigerians while the French speaking generally dislike and hate Nigerians. I passed through the war torn villages and it is sad to see towns and villages destroyed by the insurgents and the government. Cameroon is blessed butt they can do better. Especially reduce their hostility to foreigners. 4 Likes |

I survived a surgery! I thank God for good health. I have been having health issues but I didn't know it was worsening. My heart became enlarged, I almost got a stroke and breathing was difficult. My sleep apnea was severe too. But I took advantage of office Hmo and ran tests to see how bad things were. I walked into the operating room and came out alive. That's my biggest win this year. 1 Like |

Go ahead and kill her, since you are without fault. You beat her till the point she became unconscious! You don't want to let go because you have invested on her. See, let me tell you. Don't let the devil use you cos you can never trust her again. You will live with suspicion till you let go of your temper and finally hurt her. May God not let you murder someone. The ball is in your court. |
