Our Nigeria dog is no dought one of the world most intelligent and one if the most healthiest dogs. (too bad they are not recognised) they can live an entier life without need for vaccine or vet intervention ..(I've seen lot of dogs that did) I just dont understand why we abuse and criticize them..using the excuse of "unknown origin"..I've had mongrels personally ALot. currently have 7 dogs in my compound somewhere in Abuja 2 are Nigerian breed.the rest are COs and BullM and they are all doing fine..the Nigerian breed especially. .cos they are not as demanding compared to the others..UP NIGERIA DOG

the are breaders mostly secretive.. you could get online or travel out.. cos some place dont support this breed.. it will cost the buyer much

Although Its been happening but I never had a close encounter like this one. A lady came over to the vet and enquire how much it would cost for a particular treement she was interested to do on her four grown dogs. 3 male and 1 female. He billed her and she complained it was expensive ..she left the clinic on Tuesday 4days latter on Saturday she rushed back in with her dogs in the car. Crying she said they had been poisoned. We asks what happened, she said after after she left she found someone else who was willing to do the the same treatment at a very low cost. Do you believe this so called fake took chemical made for camel and cattle's and used on the dogs.. What is worst the satchete was meant to be devided at least 21 possions and mix 1 part with about a little of water before it can be safe to use. He gave the entire satchet to the four dogs. By the time she brought them in it was too late to do anything to save .the poison had already gone in deep.. These enocent cute dogs died because of her carelesnesss Pls Nigerians we like araha things too much. Just be careful when making choices.

A few days ago, somebody met me and talked to me about adopting a wolf-dog hybrid. I tried warning him concerning the great amount of risk there is to keeping a wolf-dog in the house. You coyld tame the dog side but the wolf instinct can never removed. He insist he could handle it.. Claiming he has had Caucasian,Rotweiller and pitbull. So he feels he can keep it under control. Their folks please I don't want him to think I'm a kill-joy for trying to tell him the truth..wolf-dog are considered illegal and for good reason. I dont exactly know what Nigerua law says about having a wolf-dog hybrid but I know for sure having one don't always end well. He can say its a Husky/malamute puppy and bring it in easily. So I had to bring this up so he could see what other Dog lovers think. Thank you all.

research prove mongrels have a stronger temperament and high level of endurance and intelligence comparing to many of this foreign breed we have.. the only thing down about them is just having a weaker bite force... UP MONGREL

Here is a front view image...when he wasn't smiling .. If your study deeply about dog breeds and varieties then maybe you'd realise the fact that you don't just identify dogs breeds with just the wrinkles on their faces. Even dogs of same breed all have have looks and variaties
