My broda I am here observing and doing what I can do humanly and for God to crown it, it is clear finance is responsible for the delay as stated by Cabaye as far back June.
There is this prog on Channels Tv every Sunday 7.30pm or so called "NDDC TODAY", my brodas and sisters that prog has stopped for long, obviously for financial reasons.
I will advice we take our minds off it a bit and let it come like a surprise....this suspense is uncalled for.

We are all passing through this channel "NDDC" to get to our various destination, I don't think it is necessary for us to create enmity between us as we are climbing up, I may need you and vice versa.

csimms7: I had said I wouldn't call or ask any source but rather wait it out but because of these fresh agitations I had to do that just now.
The person I called works at nddc and the person asked the same question I asked which is "for those agitating how sure are you that your names are there?" The person also said that they will find out from a director later in the day and I hung up.
While I was composing this, my contact called me immediately and told me that as I hung up, the lady who coordinated us on the interview day(the fair lady that I think she's from Edo) walked past and on further enquiry, the lady told my contact that they will release the list but some would have to defer their admission to the following year.
My contact also said the MD has been terribly ill and just resumed office last week amidst agitations of some phc youths that took place a few days ago. My contact asked me to implore you all to be patient.
This no be courtroom o. Me na beg I dey beg.

No one here is sure of their names being on the list and we are all agitating? Use your number 6 before number 7 naw?
You raised a point of imperial and etc, why didn't you write PRESSID na? Why not pay for your deposit and get your CAS na? Baba you no get point o. Nddc have affiliate schools and we are all aware of it, on the other hand, if you've got your CAS they will ask you to sign a release of result form.
All these petitioning is too early. Look at the previous trend, it's come this late or just a lil more earlier.
Me I don't support it cos it's still within their time frame. If you have issues with nddc don't take it out on us.
Assuming they even publish list of those that gets the scholarship, how will you know the ghost names? Me wey dey chat with you, you know my name?

My fellow scholars we've waited this long. I'm impatient myself but I'm allowing my brain to rule my emotions now. 1st week of September is by the corner. We've waited this long, a week or two won't kill us.

1. This agitation or petition will be more meaningful, if we have collectively seen our names as NDDC scholars and NDDC failed to deliver on their financial promises.
2. If schools in the U.K has resumed and we are yet to know our stand.
3.If NDDC refuse to contact us as at when due, we can agitate but the wasted time, emotional trauma or heartbreak cant be repaid.
4. We need to engage more in prays.
5. We should patiently wait till 5th of Sept before we start losing hope.
6. I strongly believe we will be contacted very soon.

It is indeed regrettably lugubrious that the board and management of NDDC has push us, if not to the wall but close to it. They are failing us already as the delay will not do us any good. After reading through all the contributions of all concerned as regards addressing the issue at hand.
I therefore want to suggest we do it with unionism as well as with a common goal so as to achieve not just the desire objective but also timely.
While I buy the various ideas or methods that have been put forward, I want us to copy from the Nigeria scholars in Russia that used a popular national newspaper 'Punch' and it got to all concerned quickly.
In the light of the forth going, can someone tell us how much it will cost us to write an open letter to the CEO, management and board with possibly national assembly in copy on Punch.
I will want us to perfect, make all necessary arrangement and conclude on a common ground on how to do all these, so that if they fail to contact us before Friday morning then we swift to action same Friday and make the open letter visible on punch on Monday.

cabaye: one thing is for Nddc contact us, another thing is the date to collect the letter by hand.what is the worst case scenario if you finally receive this scholarship letter by hand if its past the date??

I just want to seek opinions just in case they release it next month.

Maximum 48hrs or even same day if they send the request on time.

LATEST: It is now confirmed that the list will "definitely" be PUBLISHED in September. As the source said, it wont be something hidden at all. Delay is due to allocation of funds. We Stay Alive. It is a promise that all scholars will be sorted out irrespective of resumption dates.

They haven't sent me my CAS, there is a condition of part payment of my fees or to show scholarship award letter before 31st August attached to my admission. However according to my Coventry agent, it can be extended to a week before resumption.
