The human form is the apex of physical evolution. From their the next evolution is spiritual evolution. For a human being to become homo immortalis. A God-realized being.

My concern with Islam still remains how Muslims who are exposed to the truth in their Holy Book are able to kill people without blinking an eyelid. My experience with truth is that it fills you with love. There is no way you can kill even under provocation.

My experience in northern Nigeria was a real eye opener for me. I saw the hatred, the lust for blood in their eyes first hand , and the over eagerness to kill unbelievers.
But despite all the destruction from them, I still have nothing but love for them. That to me is the way of truth. By their fruits you will know them.

Does this mean that does who don't follow the path of eck will not get to the kingdom of heaven

there is only one way to the the kingdom of heaven. that way is through the ECK, the Holy Spirit. though there are many ways to the Holy Spirit. As many as there are souls in the universes. Soul rides the current of the Holy Spirit in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

The Path of ECKANKAR simply offers soul a more direct, more conscious approach to the Holy Spirit. ECKANKAR does not claim to be the only path to God as all other religions and paths are also valid and tailored to the unique needs of soul at any particular period of its unfoldment.

Divine Spirit protects us from confusion by pulling the veil over our memory when we are reborn.

Everything is always down to the choices soul makes. Are those choices based on love or are they based on selfishness . loving actions lays a foundation for more love coming into your life at future incarnations. It becomes progressive. At a point these loving actions earns you the right to strive for mastership. Then the master appears
and plants your feet firmly on your road back home to God.

Yes, karma is not always the cause of suffering. For example those souls being prepared for mastership who have already worked off their karma can be put through a lot of difficult conditions so that they can have a better understanding of the human condition and be in a better position to render help to their fellow souls. You can never understand what somebody is going through unless you have worn the shoes yourself.

To survive on this earth, we must be able to focus on our current identity and deal with day-to-day events.

Spiritual truths are not to be argued or to be forced on any soul. It takes a gradual unfoldment of consciousness to accept truth. Truth must be realized within yourself. Without this realization it becomes an empty academic exercise in which someone with superior argument will claim an empty victory which will not add an iota of spiritual enlightenment to both the victor and vanquished but rather will create more negativity, anger, hatred and egoism in an already negatively charged world.

This is the reason I usually don't bother with such as it is a pure waste of creative energy. What matters is, whatever religion you profess, live a life of love, give love to your neighbour without regards to his race, religion or language. That is the beginning and ending of all truth. Nothing else matters.

I suggest you ask the Holy Spirit for more clarifications. The Holy Spirit is the source of all truth and will bring answers to your questions in a way that will match your state of consciousness enabling you to understand any spiritual concept clearly.
How to go about it is very simple. At night do your normal prayers, then before you go to sleep, just ask your question then watch your dreams.

If we could remember all of our previous lives, the confusion will be overwhelming.

The ECK teachings are Ancient wisdom for today. The consciousness of people has been changing over the centuries and the teachings has to be tailored to match the current state of consciousness. A student of truth needs a Living master who has mastered the curriculum to guide him. The master must be one who is in tune with the current state of consciousness of the world. When the Master has served his purpose he hands over to another individual who is in tune with the current state of consciousness.

Spiritual mastership is the birthright of all souls and the job of souls that have attained it is to help other souls to attain it too. That is why we do not worship the Mahanta, because what he has achieved spiritually, you too can also achieve.
His work is primarily with souls that are ready to start their journey back home to God. It is not an academic affair. It is a practical step to take and your experiences become your authority.

Living as male or female, as black or white, as rich or poor, for example, soul tests and purifies itself.

In ECKANKAR, we have a spiritual leader who is known as Mahanta, The Living ECK Master.
This is a spiritual title worn by an individual who has attained God-realization and has been appointed by God to help all ready souls to find their way back home to God. There is always a Mahanta, The Living ECK Master and his job is to keep the pure teachings of the Holy Spirit pure and separate it from social and cultural trappings which have invaded other major world religions.
The current Mahanta is Sri Harold Klemp.

In the Universes of God there are many planes which some people can refer to as heavens. These are divided into pure spiritual planes and the lower universes. The lower universes are worlds of duality I.e good and bad. the difference between heaven and hell as depicted in the lower universes is just the presence and absence of Love.

As such it becomes a function of consciousness and not a geographic function. E.g if a group of loving people gather in a place, you can describe that place as heaven but if those people are driven away by aggressive, power hungry people who kills at little provocation, the place automatically becomes hellish and nobody wants to go there. In other words you carry your hell or heaven within you depending on your state of consciousness.

Beautiful. When we all achieve maturity what would happen next

Then there would not be any need for the lower universes which serve as school. The lower universes will be dissolved and all mature souls moved back into the pure spiritual planes which were their originally home.

The cosmic circle lasts for 5 million years and is divided into 4 ages. Golden age, silver age, bronze age and iron age. The level of negativity gradually increases as the age reaches iron age which is the current age we are in now. At the end of the iron age, the lower universes will be destroyed and all souls who are yet to achieve maturity put to sleep and withdrawn to the soul plane in an unconscious state. This state lasts for another 5 million years during which the lower universes are recreated and then tne immature souls are sent back again to recommence their schooling starting from the golden age. This Cosmic circle will continue indefinitely until all souls have achieved maturity.
