Mr. Ben. Well done sir. I would like to know what Eckankar teaches on meat diet, vegetarian diet, killing of animals, occult training, alcohol, etc, and their spiritual consequences.

for diet whether meat or vegetarian is left at the discretion of the individual according what the individual's body accepts healthwise.

for killing of animals you have to expatiate further. do you mean killing for sports or killing for food.

for occult training, it is capital no go area. you do not need occult training to grow spiritually. it is actually a hindrance on soul's journey home to God.
for alcohol, ECKist are discouraged from taking alcohol as it dulls the senses and creates a negative spiritual cloud over the individual.

I think we discussed, sometimes ago, the teachings of the grail message and you promised to reexamine the work and make an objective review of it. Could you please share with us here what your thoughts are and the spiritual findings you make of it. Thank you.

i actually started but i ran out of time as i am very busy. it is a major project i will still undertake at a later date. i may even have to open a new thread for it.

the key to soul traveling is the spiritual exercises of ECK. you can find lots of them in the book, The Spiritual Exercises of ECK.

the most basic one you can start with is singing the love song to God, HU.

from the eckankar web site:

singing the HU will also open your spiritual eyes and open the door of soul through which you can travel into the inner worlds and the experience them for yourself.
i am not asking you to do what people has not done before in fact thousands of people are doing it and proving to themselves here and now the reality of the inner worlds. you do not need to die before you experience Heaven. remember the kingdom of heaven is here and now.

You need to have some understanding of spiritual geography in order to understand why there is population explosion when there should be a finite number of souls reincarnating.

First the universes of God is divided into 2 grand divisions and these are the pure spiritual planes and the lower worlds or planes.
The lower planes comprised of 5 major planes which are the Etheric plane, mental plane, causal plane, astral plane and the physical plane where earth is located.
These lower planes serve as schools for souls and upon graduation soul then moves to the pure spiritual planes.
Reincarnation does not only occur on earth which is just a minute part of the universes of God. It also occur on other planes as soul moves from plane to plane as it learns and grows.
You have to also know that there are trillions of souls existing on these planes and some have not even come to earth. Even in the physical plane there are trillions of souls existing in other planets and systems apart from the earth.
The reason why Many souls are rushing to earth now leading to the population exp!osion has to do with the current age we are in now. This is the Kali yuga age or iron age. It is a period when the level of negativity in the universe increases and there is so much evil. The rate of karmic run offs also increases. A lot of souls rushes to earth to take advantage of this age because it is a time when those who stand for truth will be thoroughly tested and there is opportunity for souls to finish their karmic lessons and go back to God in a shorter time.
This is the reason for the population explosion. It is still going to get worse as more and more immature souls rush to earth.

Soul may stay oh these other planes for a day, a thousand years, or more. This is dependent on Soul's mission,its karmic obligation and its level of spiritual unfoldment.
