During my early formative years in christianity, I had the same questions .further deep spiritual search revealed a lot of things to me..
I realized that the second coming of Christ was not a physical event but actually a spiritual one. Also it was an event to be witnessed by the individail within himself..

this event has already happened for many people and it is still happening till now .
It is the acquiring of the Christ Consciouness

The Spiritual Journey still remains an individual affair occuring in the consciousness and hearts of those who truly loves God.
t is not a group Jamboree or fiesta with people clapping and cheering from the sidelines.

The quest for God is the quest for true happiness.

What exactly makes people buy and sell for profit making if not greed?

There is nothing wrong wiith buying and selling for profit so far as excessive profiteering is not involved. That of course will attract negative karma for those doing the profiteering which.must be paid in full.

Soul, a particle of God, is blessed with the gift of creative imagination, which finds a solution for every problem.

If the priority is on ourselves first, then family, isn't that selfish?

You cannot give what you don't have. You have to first of all learn how to love yourself before you can be able to love.others.

Who exactly are these "loved ones"? Does this imply that there're those who aren't loved ones?

Loved ones are those you hold very close to your heart. Those you share warm love with.. that is the starting point. From there you expand your circle of love as you learn how to receive and give out God's love back to life

The problem here is that the modern man is concerned about how to earn a living. No one care about love. In fact, humans cannot withstand love in it's true sense, they run away from it. If humans knew what love was they wouldn't have killed the christ. If you want to love you will be seen as a fool, a witch, or a demented fellow.

What others think and do does not matter. What.matters is what you think and.do.
The spiritual journey is undertaken by.the individual alone and no one will.be.cheering or clapping for you on the sidelines..
