You develop a sense of humor, and as challenges come up, you begin to draw on your creativity. You find solutions that would never have occurred to you before. Life becomes more fun—you actually have a more adventuresome life. You get put into situations you would not have been in before, because you are going one step beyond yourself. And as you get yourself in trouble, you also have help to get out of it, because as you learn to work with your own resources, you are developing self-mastery. Sri Harold Klemp Truth Has No Secrets |
@ martinskelly Hi Benodic,Finding peace of mind comes from being able to rise above the passions of the mind which hold Soul prisoner in the lower worlds. What can enable one to achieve this is the Spiritual Exercises of ECK. The most basic being the Singing of the love song to God, HU. Sung daily morning and night for minimum of 20- 30 minutes with love in your heart and gratitude for all the blessings of God in your life will set you off on the right direction to achieve happiness and peace of mind. |
Ideas suddenly come to us on how to make our work easier or make something work out better for someone else. Where do these ideas come from? From the creative imagination, the godlike part of us. This is God in expression. —Harold Klemp |
We look for the divine nature that exists in other people as well as in ourselves. —Harold Klemp |
People see the Light of God inwardly as a white light, a blue light, a pink light, a green light, sometimes in the form of a lightbulb, sometimes as a fire, sometimes as a lamp, or just as a globe that glows—It can be any form, any color. —Harold Klemp |
The Sound and Light of God are the appearance of God’s love in your daily life in a very real way. Sometimes you’ll feel a vibration, sometimes you might hear the music of a flute. These are both manifestations of the Sound of God. —Harold Klemp |
@ Templee333 Hi benodic. Please what do you understand about the biblical term "resurrection"? Or is there any other term that eckist use that could mean the same thing? In my own understanding, resurrection is the liberation of soul from the sharkles of the physical body. For Soul to pull free from the influences of the physical body it has to rise above the passions of the mind that bind it to the body. The influx of the Holy Spirit as light and sound into the consciousness of Soul is what achieves this feat for soul. This leads Soul to Spiritual Freedom In this elevated state, death is completely defeated as it is seen for what it really is. Just a matter of shifting the consciousness from one state to another. Soul loses any fear of death it has as it then realizes that it is eternal and can not die In ECK we use Self-realization and God-realization |
Soul is the true being that you are. You are Soul. —Harold Klemp |
Facing life gracefully is probably the first step to giving of yourself to others. They aren’t separate qualities. The quality of being graceful in your dealings with other people or in giving of yourself to life go together. They complement each other. Sri Harold Klemp Love—The Keystone of Life |
All in all, earth is still nothing more than a spiritual school. It was set up and designed by God so that each one of you, each Soul in this world, can learn more about becoming godlike. This is the whole purpose of why you are here: to become more godlike. —Harold Klemp |
Graceful living, being gracious, means that you are filled with the blessings of God. And if you are filled with the blessings of God, you will certainly be someone who lives gracefully and graciously with others. —Harold Klemp |
As you gain in spiritual unfoldment, everyone in your circle of acquaintances is benefited and uplifted. —Harold Klemp |
Sometimes being a channel for God requires simply that you be aware in a situation where someone is in pain, in sorrow, or in a state of loneliness or heartbreak. You just listen. If you are just listening, sometimes people can speak. Sri Harold Klemp The Awakened Heart |
If we give up to Spirit as It leads us into a greater awareness, we can build and expand into a greater life. It’s when we hold back—when Spirit opens the door and we refuse to walk through—that we find life becomes difficult. —Harold Klemp |
The real reason for our being here is to open ourselves more to this burning love of God. Sri Harold Klemp Love—The Keystone of Life |
Our goal in this life is not to find out how to use Spirit in our life, but how to open ourselves as a vehicle for Divine Spirit to use as It will. Life becomes an adventure. We are opened to learning in a way we have never been before. —Harold Klemp |
It’s the nature of an open consciousness to simply love and give of God’s love to other people. But even more important is to receive it. To receive the blessings that are all around us. —Harold Klemp |
Learning spiritual consciousness is learning how to live in this world no matter what comes. We learn through spiritual exercises how to live life graciously, from childhood to old age. We learn how to live life in the best way possible. —Harold Klemp |
All that a true spiritual teaching can give you is assurance of the eternal nature of Soul: that you live beyond the death of the physical body; that you are Soul, and you live forever. A sword can pierce the body but never Soul. And if you know what you’re doing, when you leave this body it’s not much of a change. Sri Harold Klemp Touching the Face of God |
Soul Travel just means getting in touch with your higher nature, which is Soul. Soul Travel means moving from the human state of consciousness to the Soul state of consciousness. —Harold Klemp |
Divine Spirit helps those who are ready to drop some habit that’s standing in their way on the spiritual path to God. —Harold Klemp |
It begins at home, with yourself. Before we can help anybody else, we must first be able to help ourselves. —Harold Klemp |
Soul is creative, infinitely creative. Our creative imagination is our gift from God. The imagination is the God-spark, the part of us that makes us like God. And you can direct it toward whatever needs improvement in your life. Sri Harold Klemp Touching the Face of God |
At some point, people will get a little further along the spiritual path and understand that the responsibility for their spiritual unfoldment begins and ends with themselves. —Harold Klemp |
Another word for contemplation is appreciation. Think about all the reasons you have to be grateful. Think about the gifts in your life that have come from God, from the Holy Spirit, that make this life worth living. Think about the adventures that are coming, and be grateful for the strength to meet tomorrow. Sri Harold Klemp The Awakened Heart |
Earth is a schoolroom for Soul. Soul must learn all the spiritual lessons of life before It can gain spiritual freedom. —Harold Klemp |
What we are aiming for is not to avoid the roller-coaster effect of life, but to gain the middle path. This means the path of moderation, the balanced outlook, the spiritual viewpoint that no matter what happens, the sorrows of life will not bury us forever. When loved ones leave in death, we cry—but not forever. We are able to face life knowing that they will still live on in full consciousness. We know that the divine cause, the Divine Being, has put us here to learn something. It is up to us to go out into life and find out what it is. Sri Harold Klemp Touching the Face of God |
As sure as you’re alive, if you can make it over the next hurdle, through the next stormy sea, your view of life will change. So will your viewpoint on truth. Why? Because the experience made you wiser. You will have a broader view of truth. —Harold Klemp |
Whatever path to God you follow ought to make you able to stand on your own feet here as well as in the inner worlds; here and now, in this lifetime, before you drop the body in death. If the path isn’t able to do that, then you ought to keep looking until you find one that gives you this ability. Sri Harold Klemp Touching the Face of God |
We don’t learn and grow if everything is always smooth and pretty and nice. Sometimes you have to get the other experiences in life. It’s necessary, like salt and pepper on your food. It adds spice to life. We’re talking about recognizing God’s help in your life. This help is like little presents. But oftentimes we don’t think of them as presents. Sri Harold Klemp Truth Has No Secrets |
The more you learn about yourself, the more you have to give back to life. It’s natural. You have to. Your heart opens, you have greater capacity for love. To get more love, you have to give more love. As you give more, you get more. —Harold Klemp |
We serve God and life out of gratitude. Why? For the blessings we have received. What is the greatest blessing? The gift of life itself. It’s living. It’s getting more experience in life, learning more about who and what you are. —Harold Klemp |
