One more thing though, there is no way that speed is 120km/hr, not on that road at least. At 120km/hr no driver can afford to be distracted as reaction time is very short.
yes he liked. he was driving between 70-80km/hr

Why are Nigerian environments always so disgusting? If you see a Nigerian market, it always looks terrible. What do those men who tax sellers do with their taxes? Why can't they cement the market floor? Just imagine how the market will look when it rains.

Foreign Affairs / Re: 200 People Killed In Attack In Central Burkina Faso by Benwems(m): 11:25pm On Aug 26
shoodboi2:
For those wondering, this same JNIM was part of the coalition groups that Ukraine funded and armed to kill Malian soldiers and Wagner PMC members in Mali last month.

Ukraine openly confirmed that it armed the groups and bragged that there was nothing African countries can do about it.

The US, UK, and France also went on to further sanction Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger for breaking diplomatic relations with Ukraine over its support for this terror group.

Now, we have seen the Ukraine-backed terror group killing more Africans.

Lies from the deepest pit on hell. You should be arrested and prosecuted for misinformation. That screenshot of your is completely false and fake.

Slowly the truth is coming out .

1. Alot of these local refineries are not really faulty the way NNPC had led the public to believe .

2. NNPC makes billions monthly from phantom importation of fuel because they keep increasing Tor so clwd amount they import on paper and using to loot. Ask yourselves as the price of fuel increases how come our consumption has also been increasing when less and less people are driving or even buying fuel for generators.

3. NNPC Has been running a criminal enterprise and ensurimg fuel isn not refined locally so that they continue importing fuel.

4. This is why Atiku said first thing he would do is sell off NNPC but you all attacked him. Has he not been vindicated since ?

Atiku is coming

Atiku 2027.

You are correct. Nigerians do not know the difference between a national asset and a national liability.

2. From August 16 to August 26, 2024, You won't be able to do anything on the appointment booking site.

3. If you are traveling after September, 2024 , I would rather you waited till August, 27, 2024 before you start your visa application process.

Travel / Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by Benwems(m): 2:03pm On Jul 21
Scholar212:
Most PhD programs are funded in the US, does not matter the state. Usually PhD students are funded as Teaching Assistant, Research Assistant or a Fellowship. STEM courses have more funding than the arts and humanities, if you studied a medical and life science related course you can look towards Biomedical science PhD programs. Search on Google or even use Meta AI or ChatGPT to create list of universities in US offering PhD in Biomedical science and related fields. From there you can start going through the school websites one after the other and contact potential supervisors you find their research interesting.

Thank you.
Travel / Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 18 by Benwems(m): 11:45am On Jul 21
OyoTunjiUSA:

Hey 🤠

1. Every Development Research in USA is 95% well-funded in juxtaposition with other countries. Therefore, Phd in the UNITED STATES (especially in hard sciences where labor is in more demands) is typically funded and they (Phd Students) are more preferred over other graduate students.

2. Although, you will probably be expected to do something to earn this fundings. Either working as a Teaching Assistant or as a Research Assistant or as both. But dont panic about lacking teaching skills as you will have the opportunity to learn and interpret what you are learning " work-study

3. It is actually very hard to do a PhD without getting financial support from your Host-University (except you are a multimillionaire with non-stop flow of incomes) and your Host-University department understands this. Therefore, your fundings should come in one or combinations of the following forms ;

Teaching Assistantships (TA)
Research Assistantships (RA)
Graduate Assistantships (GA)
Other forms of Departmental Fundings &
Government Fundings.

4. Your first step is to look out for your Future-Supervisor who can unlock all the 5 aforementioned funding opportunities for you. You will have to get in touch (via email enquiry) with professor (s) who are in the field of your interest and to ask if they are interested in taking students.

5. The above (no4) will be very important when you write your SOP (Statement Of Purpose) because you can mention in your SOP that Dr. John Doe has expressed his interest in taking you as a student.

6. To summarise, go and search through as many USA Universities website as you can. Shortlist Professors to contact and e-mail them your CV and why you will be a good fit in their research groups.

PS ; There is no limit on how many professors you can contact, and Professors in your Host-University (department) determines your acceptance and fundings

PS ; Professors are the ones who look out for "Research Grants" And recommend to their Universities how many incoming Phd students they would need based on available budget.

Best Wishes 🙏

thank you.

Politics / Re: Supreme Court’s Judgment Means No FAAC Allocations To CTC Chairmen – Ozekhome by Benwems(m): 12:07pm On Jul 12
kingbee90:
The fact that Agbadorians are jubilating on the Supreme Court ruling because they think it will ONLY affect Rivers State is laughable.

- Rivers State is not the only state currently running a CT system in Nigeria.

- Rivers State Electoral Commission has already fixed LG elections for Oct.2024 & not INEC.

- Rivers State is a very rich state & Gov. Sim can still fund/pay the caretaker chairmen till Oct. when the LG elections would be conducted by Rivers State Electoral commission . He would erect his own "structure" at the grassroot before then.

- Many poor State Governors (especially in the North, South west ) who are currently running a caretaker chairmen system would revolt & would not implement the Supreme Court ruling because if they do, no money for them again.

- Not all elected local government chairman would betray their Governors. Dem go just dey chop Tinubu federal government money but dem go still pledge alliegence to their governors at the end.

-Wike, when he became Governor in 2015, dissolved democratically Elected local government Chairmen and seized their allocations till date and now he is currently the savior and messiah of Agbadorians

- Wike also appointed caretaker chairmen and they stayed for 9 months before he conducted LG elections.
The day Wike will start fighting Tinubu, dem go change their mouth as usual.
Pathetic people

You are very right. The way wike starts fighting tinubu, they will change their mouth. same way they changed their mouth when Rauf Aregbelosa started fighting tinubu.
