Attack on Titan S4 (2013 - 2023)

"I still think about how the human brain can create this level of fiction."

I saw the above line in a tweet one time, and it stuck with me. It made me commit to a second watch and truly grasp the scale of this all timer. You'd be surprised how much a second watch can change your perspective. Not being burdened with weekly episode drops, you begin to notice things you missed before. Your attention isn't stretched, so you're much better prepared to deconstruct it.

This is probably one of the hardest reviews I've had to write because... where do I even begin? 😩 It is so multilayered with intent. It's the kind of show where your perspective probably changes with each rewatch.

We used to chide Baddestguyp whenever he talked about it all the time, and it became his whole persona on here. But I totally get it now, because how genuinely can you watch this monster of a show and not want to talk about it at every slightest chance?

Eren Yeager is one of the most fascinating protagonists I've ever watched... and protagonist? Am I even sure he is that? He begins as a boy chasing freedom and ends as someone willing to take freedom from almost everyone else to achieve it. Hero. Villain. Victim. Monster. Personally, before the final two specials, he was simply a genocidal maniac in my view.

That's why this show is special. There are no easy answers. You decide. It perfectly captures what Eren told his friends: "I will not take away your freedom. If you think I'm wrong... come fight me."

The final stretch is emotionally relentless. Hange's sacrifice. Levi finally fulfilling his promise to Erwin. Armin proving that hope isn't weakness. Mikasa making the hardest decision of all. None of it felt cheap. It was a fitting payoff for four seasons of masterful storytelling.

I also appreciate how it doesn't pretend violence can solve violence. Even after everything, the cycle continues. New generations inherit old conflicts. The Titans disappear, but humanity remains... human.

Perhaps my only criticism, if I can even call it that, is just how ultra-dense the finale was. Paths, memories, Ymir, destiny, freedom... it's incredibly dense, and I can see why so many people finished it confused. This is definitely a series that rewards a second watch.

I don't know if I can commit to a third watch. This one took a heavy toll. But it's the kind of show where your perspective shifts with every rewatch.

I can't pretend to be well-versed in anime lore, but I genuinely believe this transcends anime!. This is one of the best shows ever made, across genres and across mediums. It's just so, so far up there, and I don't say that lightly.

I finished it last night, and I still feel this strange void. I keep going back to that tweet

"I still think about how the human brain can create this level of fiction."

An all timer of all timers. ✨

See the way you're making me consider watching this anime. If only I liked anime

Time to move on from Lucha

He likes rough but can play 5 matches in a row without a hamstring injury
I agree. The earlier we move on from him the better.

See the nonsense I don't like. Come Martinez, you better recover on time for the season opener. You don give your best finish and now the EPL is upon us, you've suddenly gotten an injury. Mtcheww.

The fact people really thought Nolan would make a bad movie
It was never in doubt. I repeat, it's almost humanly impossible for Nolan to make a bad movie.

Beorn:
I can't wait for Nolan to prove doubters wrong. Nolan is one movie maker I trust 95% of the time to deliver. The movie will be a success. I'm damn sure.

It’s a good signing and the price is reasonable. It’s actually worth being excited about. He’s prem proven and his stats great. Bruno G will be 29 in few months but Newcastle want 100m for him. We have a similar signing, similar age and stat for way less.

The price and the caliber of player Youri is beats any concern about his age or how many years he has to give us. Big ups to INEOS for this
I just saw the price and it ain't bad. It's still reasonable.

As for Bruno G, I can assure you that no club, not even Money Miss Road like Blueco's Chelshit, is touching him for that amount. Newcastle must be smoking purple haze for that brand of stewpidity.

This is the first time we have moved with precision and stealth...

Tielemans is experienced, premier league proven and is a classy addition to our midfield.

A very good deal...
For me, it depends on the price and most importantly, if we are still getting a 6.

I'm not excited about the news because of his age. He's 29 FFS. Shouldn't we building our midfield with younger players who would give us more years before they gas out? Youri has 2 or maybe 3 years max at the top before he would be offloaded.

Don't want to be pessimistic but I can't help it. Anyway, I hope he comes good for us.

Been seeing all the raves about this season 2 and I couldn't finish season 1, maybe I'll pick it up again.
Season 2 upped the ante. Finish season
1 because season 2 continued right from the events of season 1. The series is totally worth it, especially season 2.

No. It doesn't work on iPhone with their strict restrictions. It's mostly for Android & PC users.

If you haven't seen The Agency season 2, you're missing out on premium entertainment. Almost 10 hours of unadulterated fun. Waiting for season 3 already.

The episode 1 was very boring to me. I'm open to seeing it in the future when the inspiration comes, but right now, I've got other media that makes my time investment worthwhile.

Wanted to call this Santos news a joke 2 days ago but when I remembered we bought an injury prone Mount with 6 months left on his contract, I knew never doubt the foolishness of our transfer handlers.

I just pray for the sake of the love for United, we don't regret this decision because it makes no sense to me. SMH.

😁😁😁😁😁

I can't help but laugh. A governor was caught on camera collecting bribes in dollars and nothing happened, he even ended up a party chairman and you expect Gbaja to be sacked? 😂😂

I don't see a case where Gbaja would be sacked, if any miracle happens and he gets sacked, he'd be rewarded with something juicy or returned back as a HoR or Senator come 2027.

It was clear from the get-go, some people just wanted to argue for the sake of it. It was very glaring where his loyalty lay since the inception of this presidency. We don't really need this video. Actions speaks louder than words.

Probably the only thing I hate in his playing style.
Because of his earlier yellow card, now he was supposed to hack him down to deny the scorer a clearer scoring opportunity, he couldn't. This is what I hate about Case's early yellow card syndrome.

"Blood Sisters S2 (2026).

"Netflix, stop giving my people money to make drabs like this".

If a Nollywood show is returning for a second season, it is not because they took enough time to make it so that it is good, they did it in haste, for a quick cash grab and it showed. It was a diabolical watch to say the least.

The first season had a very high production value, with a cohesive story tackling an important social vice. You could clearly see Netflix's print on it. But the first sign of disaster for this was the lack of the usual "tudum" intro. It is remoured that Netflix has been quietly scaling back on sponsoring original content here, and it was so obvious.

The story continues from S1, as Kemi and Sarah are facing consequences for their actions, making this a court and prison drama. The production value was gutter quality, The opening shot of the court house, has a Eko Judicial High Court sign, and in the same shot if you observe, There is a "Faculty of Engineering" signpost in the same shot , and the prison walls was the same as the courthouse, so probably a hotel block in the uni.

It was riddled with so many plot holes, that i lost count and the acting were so amateurish even from established members of the Cast which the shamely tried to cover by saying to many unnecessary swear words..f bombs were flying left right and center.

They tried to Hollywoodized, and do OITNB, which doesn't work well in a Nigerian context and failed terribly at both, their worst crime was hinting at a possibility of an S3, but they will be actually crazy if they do it. The final straw of how rubbish this show was, was when they had a typo in one of the episodes title cards 😩, i just burst out laughing. There wasn't a clear thinking person anywhere around this show, not in production, and certainly not in cast.

A miserable watch.

3/10
You dey try sha. The only way I'm seeing any of these Nollywood slops is if I'm paid to see them. Even the hyped up The Polygamist from SA, though they make better movies than us, I'm not seeing it.

I agree with Ebuka. Top 3 season for sure.

These HMs came at the wrong time. If they had arrived when the ovation was high, before or during lockdown, they would have gotten more respect, encomiums, followers, endorsements and recognition.

The next HMs have a lot of work to do to keep up. These HMs have set the bar so high. If the new HMs can give 80% of what 10/10 HMs gave, the next season would be worth watching.
