I don't fancy Imisi's strategy, but I respect her for pulling it off. No be she make others strategies not to work.

There are no double standards. You just jumped late into the discussion and quoted me out of context.

The bone of contention was if pity strategy can win this season or not. Geez thought some days back that pity strategy can't win this season and I told her that it can win it and will win it even in the future.

Today, she now accepted that pity votes can win this season hence my reminding her of her earlier stance few days ago.


Of course there are different strategies, after all being married won that of last season and people will vote who or what they relate to, I never said otherwise or ranted about it.

The truth be say, I never for once envisaged Bryann winning that season and always believed everything about "giving" the win to Bryann was just based off hype and not reality.

I mean Phyna won that finale with double Bryann's total vote %. She was destined to win that show from week 1. Only Beauty Tukura had that power to give Phyna a run for her money and even made the season more fun but she effed up.

For sure. Koyin would still win. If my theory is correct, Koyin should still win because I feel he has been topping since week 1, and bbn voters rarely change their fave.

Koyin might get to the finals, but I doubt he'd win. I don't even see him as a final 2.

Nigerians just like people they can relate with.
The poorest people haven't always won the show.
Look around you, the most popular people are the loud mouth on the street, who is unpretentious and a straight talker, the guy that makes everybody laugh, the popular girl who is cool with the guys. the talented clearly talented guy with nothing to show for it. Those are some of the characters that have won.
I'd even argue that "good looks privilege", even know it doesn't guarantee a win, has taken people further in this show than poverty has....

@emboldned, absolutely!! Beauty might not win you this show, but it most often than not keeps you as long as possible and maybe even take you all the way to the finals. Having good looks as a lady especially, will get you many favour both in this show and off it as well.

I don't think pity started with Laycon. I think it started with Efe which some people wanted to win because he's from the street and wanted a grass to grace story.

Funny this is coming from a Koyin stan, considering Koyin was the first housemate to cry this season over a simple comment about "Na your papa get Lagos".

If anyone's playing the pity card, it's definitely Koyin, who broke down like a 2-year-old over nothing. Remove his monotonous conversations with Dede, and Koyin doesn't have much else going on in the house.

Koyin's fanbase must be doing some dark magic, because it's a mystery how he's gotten so much love without lifting a finger. Imisi's over here putting in work and still gets roasted, while Koyin just exists and gets worshiped. Guess that's just the power of cute tears and a bad memory.

I agree that Biggie has been biased and inconsistent with his punishment. At least for speaking her local dialect consistently, Imisi suppose don collect warning. I remember Tochi exchanging pleasantries with Prince in Igbo during Lockdown season and getting a strike for it but Imisi seems untouchable despite constantly breaking the rule.

Let's be honest, forget stanship, Rooboy won that battle. He was just too stewpid with the goading and blocking of her way. But verbally, Imisi no reach Rooboy.

Just finished watching the Imisi and Rooboy and while I enjoyed it, I must point out that Rooboy will get a strike for blocking Imisi's path. He acted very stewpid there, and Imisi was not wise enough to capitalize on it.


If I was Imisi, I'd have forced myself to walk through that door and once Rooboy physically impedes me, I'll keep pushing and then eventually walk away while telling Biggie that Rooboy stopped me from passing. Walahi, Rooboy must collect. Neo was given a strike for doing this shị̀t to Vee.

There was this PH girl that really liked Whitemoney before even Queen came along but Whitemoney wasn't into her.
