He said he doesn't know the mechanism of all that happened between her and Laycon and Erica told him she had told him all that happened and Kidd said okay, but continued that he'd know how to approach the issue (Speaking to Laycon) better if he knows all that played out between them as he wasn't with them all time. It doesn't mean he doesn't trust Erica. He was just being sensible because it's fair to hear from both parties, it had nothing to do with distrusting Erica.

I watched the scene Nengi is complaining about. It was in the morning at the table. Ozo was asking her if there was a problem coz she wasn't all that smiling, Nengi kept insisting there wasn't a problem and he wasn't convinced. He kept on prodding. Even me got tired and knew at some point Nengi would be frustrated.


I feel like Ozo is trying too hard "to care for her" when he'd know Nengi appreciates the things he does for her. He wants to be perfect man for her but sometimes he shouldn't read meaning into every sign he sees.
