Why compare this man with kanu?. Bodejo was arrested and charged to court where he stated the governor of Nassarrawa had asked him to help form a villante group for the security of the state. The governor has not come out to deny it. And i feel like this is FG sending a strong message to non state actors. However, that national anthem is better in the lyrics. It instill more brotherhood spirit and resonate well with Nigeria and what a national anthem should be.

I agree with your first paragraph. Nigeria should be composing a new national anthem and not going back to the era of post colonialism. The lyrics is good no doubt but government can do better.
