My dearest mum. I remember those days in Poly Ibadan, she would cook in Lagos and bring it to me in Poly Ibadan. At least, once in a month, you must see my mum. Usually with loads of food items, both cooked and raw.

By this time last year, she was here with us. On Sept 17 at exactly 5:45am I received that devastating call from my brother: she was involved in a hit and run at Oshodi-Oke.

It will be a year you left us next month on the 17th but the pain still feels like yesterday.
