Where's the evidence that Amaechi paid for the roads? Stop saying what you don't know because we are part of almost all the projects in Rivers state mrvitalis: Are you high? What road had wike done? I mean major road... Ameachi paid for transamadi and close roads in that area |

ozoebuka1: shut up... Anambra state has one of the best drainage system in Nigeria.( The truth is that there are even worse cases across Nigeria than this. This is mild. Thank GOD it didn't go beyond this and rain is gradually going away. |

Dumb useless old man, we have seen worse situation in the CBD of owerri just recently. What has your one legged limping governor done? Nothing but it has got worse off now. [s] Abagworo: Let this happen in Imo State and you will see Igbos gang up to write all sorts of abominable words against Okorocha. Man can never win nature in war of weather, climate and environment. Natural disasters must occur but the assessment of government depends on prompt response after the disaster. [/s]

What is this one yapping about? GuyfawkesAB: Some of you here on NL are seriously sick need urgent attention. You reek of chronic inferiority complex. I'm sure you can't bear to look at yourself in the mirror- what you see breaks your heart.
The OP has shared this to bring the attention of the public to this case of shoddy job by a contractor so that it could also possibly get the attention of the state government. Rather than join to speak against the shoddy work and suggest solutions, you begin to point to other cases of flooding elsewhere. Only cowards point at other's plight to feel good in their own misfortune too. |

Silly rants. What is your own advise for the people that built these bridges and roads across Nigeria that got washed away by the flood? Please write another advisory note. Thank you Reference: Silly attitude this operation 'first to the basement' you are acting here. Such attitudes that will never see challenges but excuses. Such that when next the road is awarded a two foot wide gutter will be shoddily constructed on a road that goes down hill. Elementary physics should tell the idots that designed and built that road that all downhill drains in built up areas must be completely sealed because water going downhill will tend to arch and most of it will be ejected and erode the immediate surroundings. That is why practically every highway in Nigeria with an incline of more than 20% has failed or is failing.
But how will folks know this when they are busy squabbling to demand better returns for their tax naira.

Buhari is a stark tribalist. He is only trying to favor his cousins in Niger Republic against the interest of southern Nigeria. It is quite embarrassing that we are importing refined crude and we are about to start importing the crude itself just because of the illiterate in Aso Rock. jesse8048: It's sure cos of the katsina refinery he okays the importation of crude from his goons from Niger. An oil producing country about to start importing oil from neighboring country. As if the shame of exporting crude and importing finished product is not enough, and now this. Brothers and sisters it is finished for Nigeria.... |
