EducationUS School Bans Nigerian Student From Entering The School Because Of Ebola by Bevy12(op): 12:06pm On Oct 30, 2014
Another United States school has banned a Nigerian student from attending classes because of their ignorance on Nigeria's status of being Ebola-free. Local media reports in Milford, Connecticut State, stated that a Nigerian-American girl who just returned from a visit to Nigeria earlier this month, has been banned from attending school in Milford by the school district. The Nigerian-American girl is in the equivalent of primary three in the US. The father of the girl is suing the school. According to the reports, the family travelled to Nigeria for a wedding October 2 to October 12. When they returned on the 13th the family was told the girl couldn't return for three weeks. This was said even though they had heard that Nigeria was now Ebola-free. The school said that even if she were to come to the school, she would be dragged out by the police. 48. Who Are You?- A detective wakes up from a six-year coma. She gets reassigned to the lost and found department, where she discovers that she's gained the supernatural ability to see ghosts connected to the objects left behind there. Along with her new partner, a novice cop who is a hotheaded skeptic, she uses the information to solve cold cases. Her partner only believes in tangible things he can see, hear and touch, but he gradually comes to trust her, and together, the bickering partners help the spirits fulfill their dying wishes and unfinished business before passing on to the afterlife. One of the ghosts watching over the detective is her ex-boyfriend, another detective who died that night six years ago when she received the serious head injury that nearly killed her and left her in a coma. They were working on a big case together, but she has no memory of what happened that night.
49. Winter Sonata- The story begins when the son of
an eminent musician,
moves to Chuncheon, a
rural city in South Korea.
As an extraordinarily
talented student, he is welcomed by his
fellow students as well
as his teachers, but
remains a quiet,
introverted teenager.
As he intends to find
out about his biological
father, whom his
mother claims has died,
his search to find out
more about his father is
what made him want
to move to the
province. Having an
identity crisis in
adolescence because of
the father he has never
met, and blaming his
mother for this, he believes that no
one truly loves him.
On his way to school
one day, his
classmate, while
sitting next to him on
the bus, falls asleep on
his shoulder. He
soon falls in love with
her and she opens her
innocent heart to him.
Their love, however, is
cut short after he is seriously injured
in a car accident and,
due to brain damage,
suffers from amnesia,
unable to remember
anything prior to his
accident.
His mother,
who wants his
love and respect, has
him brainwashed
by a psychologist, so
that he will not
remember his painful
childhood as an
illegitimate child. As a
result, his
memories prior to the
accident are erased.
His mother
decides to move to the
United States with
him, where he
can start a new life
under the identity of
Lee Min-hyeong. His
friends and teachers
are told that he
is dead.
Ten years later, he is an award-
winning architect in the
United States. He does
not remember anything
about his life in Korea.
He is completely
different, an open-
minded person who
cares about other
people, including his
mother. He returns to
Korea and the girl he fell in love with, sees
him on the street,
prompting her to put
off her engagement to
her childhood friend. Little does
she know that he is now dating her
friend and past rival. The story's
plot thickens when her interior design firm
is awarded a project by
his
architectural firm, and
she has to work with him.
