Irene Mbithe has been arrested
in Nairobi, Kenya, after she
ripped out her six-month-old
son's tongue and
disemboweled him in an
attempt to exorcise him after
she became convinced he was
possessed by demons.
Residents raised alarm and
called police after Irene's aunt,
Catherine Muthama, arrived at
the house and saw the
gruesome scene.
'When I arrived I was surprised
to see the mother having pulled
out the tongue of the baby and
I screamed at her asking why
she had killed him,' the aunt
said. The woman is believed to
have cut out her son's tongue
and scooped out his intestines
in an exorcism attempt which
neighbours say lasted all night.
The mother, who looked
remorseful yet confused, said
she meant no harm to him: 'God
punish me if I have done
anything wrong to my son who
I love so much and have prayed
for years to conceive and give
birth to.'
Police took Mbithe for
questioning at the Kayole Police
station while the body of the
baby was taken to the
mortuary.

two sisters has said he never
impregnated the two sisters
and was not arrested by
anyone....
A national newspaper (not the
Tribune) had on Friday reported
that his church was invaded by
the police to enforce his arrest
following allegations that he
impregnated the two sisters of
his landlord. Idowu told
Saturday Tribune by phone on
Friday that the allegations were
not true as one of the sisters in
question is his wife who he
married legally and who has
borne him two children.
He said he was surprised to
read the damaging story, saying
his shock was even made
worse by the fact that his side
of the story was not sought
before the publication.He said
he initially thought it was a case
of mistaken identity until he
began to receive calls from
concerned friends and family
members.
According to him, he married
Adenike, the elder sister, about
three years ago after paying the
dowry and holding the
introduction ceremony in Lagos.
And has nothing to do with her
sister.
He also denied the purported
attempt to sell the house of his
father-in-law as written in the
said story, saying he has since
left the house for his own
personal building, wondering
why he would plan to sell a
house that did not belong to
him.

Its a drama with Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-gyo, why wont it be 14% in ratings. I hope to watch it but my favourite station will still be SBS.

their written is not easy, I,m talking abt their language, tongue, I've never try to learn it too, but just by watching their dramas, I already know some of their words...

Their writing is too easy na. Can you compare it to Chinese or Japanese. Korean is very easy to learn. You just need the alphabets, how to spell their words and their rules for writing in Korean.

The timeslot it airs generally hasn't been good for KBS. Even Oh My Venus with it's star power couldn't move pass 8-9% (it even got the 8% thanks to the leads.)
Besides, it's going up against Six Flying Dragons and Glamorous Temptation which both have a large fan base.
