No Brendaniel: You see why Nigeria is not supposed to be one country, Democracy in Nigeria exposed the regional ideologies in Nigeria and 2 of these ideologies have been exposed to be one of the biggest problems of Nigeria:
1. The northern Islamic ideology( which is what you are seeing here)
2. The south west tribal ideology (which is what Tinubu is currently doing with his presidency)
Now, these 2 ideologies partnered since 2015 and the result is the Nigeria you see today, you might be thinking that these 2 sets of group are seeing Nigeria the way you are seeing it but no, to them Nigeria has never been better because they believe they are achieving their ideological dreams with what is going on in Nigeria today. So what's your own people's ideology? To lead 6 million of your people to the slaughter. You no wise at all |

You think same people sponsoring them in Nigeria will not want to also destabilize those places?
But their ideology in those countries will reject the sponsorship... I get the ideology you are referring to and it's only the north who accepted that ideology. Did you see the southern br radicalized for terrorism? To split away from northern ideology which accepted terrorism will not be easy and my point is to do that with state Policing. |

Nwaikpe: Because you don't like the trend doesn't mean you are right either.
The DSS is not the president's "personnel army" or whatever that means.
At its initial creation, during the military era, it was meant to be a counter-coup intelligence team. Never a recognized service of the nation. But the civilian government turned it into a political weapon with much greater recognition than the NIA, and it gradually started taking that position officially. It is not fully recognized as an agency that counters internal and external threats, and the NIA is relegated to an assumed external threat. Meaning it doesn't serve the president any longer but officially now serves the state.
Same thing with EFCC and ICPC. ICPC was created by an official act, ratified from an international convention. But the EFFC was created by Obasanjo and used as a political tool that thereafter took an official shape to become a ratification of an international act that SCUML was already covering. So ICPC, which was supposed to be more powerful, was relegated to the back, and EFCC, which is supposed to be an ASO Rock mini team like the Abba Kyari team, is made to surpass the ICPC. So what's your point? You don't see men in suit following the US president and are in the White House? It's same here |

Let's do the state policing first. When boys mount border who go dear to collect. Who will wait for federal before they send military personnel. And I hear many Nigerians saying state police will be used by politicians to oppress rival politicians. As mass how is that our concern, have they not be oppressing themselves to getting to power. Ours is for them to protect lives and property of the masses first. |
Politics › Re: Kwara: Gunmen invade Monarch’s Palace, Kill Residents, abduct others by beyondPen(m): 10:28am On Sep 08, 2025 |
Brendaniel: If I say Nigeria especially the north is going through a lot today because of not listening and doing injustice to the Igbos, some people will think I am exaggerating, but if you go back in history and properly look at the timeline of events, you will see a pattern that has been repeating itself overtime.
The major problem I have with most Nigerian presidents who have ruled in the past including the present one now is that they don't tackle problems from the root cause and they are either deceitful, ignorant or not explicit with the truth and that is one major reason they don't really like the Igbos(for being explicit with the truth). Why is it always about Igbos? Even if an Igbo man becomes the president nothing he can do about bandits and terrorists. You want to fight them and then they will say you are only killing their people? You think their leaders in the north want an end to terrorism and banditry. When it gets to their turn they will quickly turn it against your people and can cause another war. Make Igbos dey think. The solution here is state policing. Imagine state police why will criminals operate for hours. |

If you are from South West and you are not in support of State Security, you better think twice.
Northerners bring food and cattle to the region because that's their biggest market. Easterns bring container into Nigeria from the region because that's their biggest market also. The region is Nigeria economic power. So criminals (terrorist , banditry, kidnappers, fake products traders and even criminals who are southwesterners) from all regions comes in also. They also share our resources with South West.
With state police we can count them all and in charge of resources control. |
