PoliticsRe: Steps NDC Can Take To Win The 2027 Elections by bfire(m):
fabricated? Let's assume that's the case.

Did Obi scored 25% in any of the 7 sates in the core North? Did he score 25% in more than 2 states in the 6 staes of North East, and did he score 25% in more than 1 state in 6 statess of the SW?

In NW & SW alone, he lost 12 states of less than 25% score. How would he have met the electoral threshold?

I know you'll write that it was rigged, right.

Against who and for whom?

franchasng:
The mistake you Nigerians are making is relying on that fabricated 2023 Presidential election result in your analysis.

Most of the key players that worked under Buhari, who knew what happened have confessed in secret but you guys keep gallivanting around with this fabricated result.

Peter Obi won, Tinubu came second, Atiku came third but they intentionally gave Atiku second to demoralize Peter Obi and his Obidient Movement.

If you even calm down and analyze what transpired ever since the end of 2023 Presidential election, how Tinubu, APC and all Tinubu comrades focused all their attention on attacking and suppressing Peter Obi, if you have a strong analytical knowledge, you will understand why.

Atiku is not a threat to Tinubu, thats why Tinubu and his comrades dont really care much about Atiku and his political moves, they are more worried about Peter Obi than Atiku because they dont want Obi to repeat the winning in 2027.

Be speaking Grammar, we that know what happened in 2023 understanding better
Head or tail, your candidate would not likely obtain the electoral number, which is, 25% in atleast 24 states of 36/37 states

These are defeatist analysis not lookingat the whole picture is just myopic.

There are standards that should be met in the context of Nigeria's electoral laws

The reality, in my opinion, will end up like this:

Presidential Election 2027

PBAT:
NW, NE, NC, SW, SE, SS
25%(7), 25%(6), 25%(6), 25%(6), -%(5), 25%(6)= 31(24)+Abuja

Atiku:
25%(7) ,25%(6) ,25%(4), 25%(1), -%(5) ,25%(3)= 21(24)+Abuja

Obi:
25%(2),25%(2),25%(3),25%(1),25%(5),25%(6)= 19(24)+Abuja

NW:
Sokoto, Katsina, Jigawa, Zamfara, Kano, Kaduna, Kebbi

NE:
Adamawa, Yobe, Bornu, Bauchi, Taraba, Gombe

NC:
Benue, Plateau, Kwara, Kogi, Niger, Nasarawa
**Abuja**

SW:
Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti

SE:
Anambra, Enugu, Imo, Abia, Ebonyi

SS:
Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, C/Rivers, Akwa Ibom

franchasng:
Tinubu is not banking on votes cast on the election day.

They have already perfected plans to allocate votes to Tinubu just as it was done in 2023 but this time will be more brutal and savage.

The only way NDC can win the Presidential election is to go meet Donald Trump to seriously call Tinubu and INEC to order just as Obama did in 2014/2015.

The only thing that can make an African President not to rig election for himself is if a powerful western country like America is interested and warn him about election rigging and the consequences.

Buhari won 2015 Presidential election simply because US President Trump wanted Goodluck out for rejecting LGBT legalization in Nigeria. If not, PDP would have rigged the election, but Goodluck saw the handwriting on the wall that Obama wanted to do him what France did to Laurent Gbagbo of Ivory Coast, so he threw in the towel without putting up a fight.

Grundig and Rowenta!

That's solid German engineering!

Those were the days of "decks." See images.

Sony, SANYO,AIWA. Panasonic, Sharp, and JVC were major Japanese brands.

The Koreans were not really in the global picture at the time.

They came up with Lucky Goldstar which later became LG much much later.

Samsung, which is now a global name, was not in the picture of household electronics at all.
Yea, they were bought in Germany by my older sister whose husband was posted to Germany for military courses, and gifted to me

I bought that AIWA double cassette in 1987 when the other one was stolen at my friend's party cheesy

Those were good old days. I was having my industrial attachments (that's after OND, in those days) then at one of this big company in Ikeja

obailala:
If in your so-called 'educated' opinion, GDP per capita isn't a valid measure of economic performance, then please enlighten us; what do you propose as a more accurate metric for assessing Nigeria's economic woes?

Perhaps we can also assess things based on your expert opinion.
Yes, it is a measure of economic health. But to what degree does it expand on the economic scorecard?

Here is the thing. GDP measure all final goods and services, within a time frame, within a country. If Real GDP is used, then, we may have a better economic picture since it adjust for inflation.

PPP (Purchasing Power Parity), on the other hand, displays the actual productivity level of a Nation. It also encompass the economic, and most importantly, the global economic shift. Using this basis, a Nation would be able to redirect its economic policies. It is not enough to look at the GDP alone. It only calculates total value of goods and services; accruing it on a currency ($) terms. What happens when local currency is dis valued as it is in Nigeria.

However, the body items used in calculating this GDP, do not take into cognizance the importance of policies, economic condition, and or shift in global position.

If consumption as a greater percentage, as in the case of USA economy, and since this is a component in measuring GDP it often leads to fleeting Norminal GDP; it hardly account for inflation. Another fact is they often rebase (i.e prices of goods, in the basket, is calculated using the last quarterly rise which in itself has added some % increases) their Inflationary trend on short terms bases. Nigeria don't do that. It takes Nigeria year or more to account for that rebasing.

Though, GDP of USA is bigger than that of China. The Chinese PPP is far better than USA.

Which do you think is a better measurement of economic indices?
BusinessRe: Nigeria's GDP Per Government From 1999 - 2024 by bfire(m): 6:36pm On Apr 25, 2025
This is very depressing to see supposed educated young men hammering, and comparing GDP of Nigeria over.

It's half baked education.

PPP is a better way to measure how a country is fearing.

California GDP is greater in numbers to that of Japan. It does not mean California is richer or better than Japan.

will continue..

That’s what you think. There is something known as build quality. That is what the blue colour lights of the dashboard in Sonata and Creta lacks but which is present in the Green colour lights of the dashboard in the Santa Fe
The build quality, as regards this dashboard thing, is the negative biases you've on Sonata.

The worst dashboard is actually found in Toyotas, e.g Camry and Sienna. They crack and melt really badly compared to Sonata dashboard. Sonata dashboard isn't a Safety issue
