Can we have idea of the next auction rate?

The issue with the 6 months is, the stop rate may not be as juicy!, you may need to be settling for like btwn 10-12% for 182 days next year. In a situation where the rates are doing very well, I may split my funds into 2... 90 & 182 days or 182 & 364 days!...I am still very skeptical about locking my funds down for a year though.

I think 364 is good to go as it stands now.That is if you have some funds to play arround with.The next auction may still expirience a slit increase but not much this is to discourage banks to now take the advantage......

FBN are not trying at all.Not even upto 11%?.Well still ok than having an idle fund in your savings.

But next auction will go up as well looking at the indices.

@Mpeace its just a projection,but you can never tell.what now makes you thinke rate will get to 14% in few months?

Good one,at least banks should give guys nothing less than 11% for 364days.I believe this is as a result of the fact that the economy is experiencing crises.
This is the time to invest,i foresee a higher yield next auction too.

@Houstency from the last auction the stop rate was 11.0000 maeaning so many banks will sligthly give thier customers something lower than 11% for 365days.We should also have it in mind that budget has just been signed meaning interest rate may gear up slightly(Some analyst should tell us better).
Your question if you should fill form,it depends on you and no bank may accomodate request on the auction day which is just tomorrow.

But CBN has not released thier official stop rate.Tomorrow 18th is the bidding.
