One plant-based moisturizer that’s been in use for a long time is shea butter. The Shea tree has been nicknamed “Tree of Life,” by virtue of its ability to address numerous skin, hair, and health conditions. “Mother Nature's Conditioner” is a nickname that Shea Butter has earned for its exceptional moisturizing and softening properties. Shea Butter is derived from the kernels of the Shea Tree’s fruits. Used topically, Shea Butter is known to be a “skin superfood” that nourishes skin to promote its clarity and addresses problems such as dryness, blemishes, dark spots, discolorations, stretch marks, and wrinkles without clogging pores. Used medicinally, Shea Butter makes an ideal post-sun ointment for skin damaged by UV radiation while creating a barrier on skin that protects it from harsh environmental elements such as severe winds and cold temperatures. Shea Butter is anti-bacterial; hence, it can prevent skin-irritating and acne-causing bacteria from lingering on the skin. By eliminating germs, it can relieve nasal congestion and sinusitis. The Cinnamic Acid content in Shea Butter can effectively alleviate pain and itchiness on skin afflicted with a rash, cut, scrape, or allergy. Eating raw or undercooked foods is a common cause of food poisoning. Proper cooking destroys bacteria, but they can start to grow on cooked food if it is left out or in the refrigerator for too long. Food also can become contaminated when someone infected with a virus or other “bug” handles it. Paying attention to food safety rules and being extra careful when handling, preparing, and storing food is definitely important. However, some people who are receiving or have recently finished cancer treatment should avoid some foods entirely, even if they may have eaten them with no problems in the past. These include: Cold hot dogs or deli lunch meat (cold cuts)—Always cook or reheat until the meat is steaming hot. The Federal Government has said it does not know the whereabouts of the Chinese doctors and technicians who came into the country to offer assistance to Nigeria in the fight against the Coronavirus. . . Speaking at the daily briefing of the PTF in Abuja on Thursday, the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire, wondered why there was so much interest in knowing their whereabouts and he told journalists not to ask him the question again. . . Ehanire said: “I want to explain first of all that I think not all of them were doctors and I heard that some of them are technicians, but they are staff of CCECC, the Ministry of health is not their host, so we can’t always explain what happened to them or where they are. . . There seems to be a lot of interests in these doctors but they are the staff of a company and I think they are on the company visa. So I will be very happy if you don’t ask me about where they are because they are not really our guests in that sense. . . But we have been able to learn some things from them by interacting with them from their experience in their country, we shared ideas about what they did in their country in managing Covid -19.

http://www.orangeblog.com.ng/2020/05/9-years-old-boy-in-urgent-need-of-brain.html A nine year old boy is in pain and needs an urgent brain scan to enable doctors know the damage he must have incurred in his head as a result of his father's short Temper. Well read for yourself as sent in by a good Nigerian. An SOS! I received a distress call from a lady demanding an immediate response to a case of child abuse within her neighborhood. She lamented that the child fainted on the father's brutality and was rushed to the hospital with the support of the neighbours as the father couldn't provide a dime. Today I had to attend to this distress call amidst total lockdown. Oga what happened ![]() ??My name is Mr. Titus I am a road side Mechanic, my wife ran away and left me with 4 Kids since 2017 without any good reason. I have been managing to take care of them. Before the lockdown, I used my last savings to stock foodstuff in the house, which include: 2 custards of Rice, 2 custards of Beans, 10 packets of Spaghetti and one carton of Indomie, hoping that it carries us through the period of lockdown. To my utmost surprise, the indomie which is the last batch of the food stuff was consumed by the kids without my knowledge. I discovered that Temple, my first son who is 9years old, and in the habit of chewing it raw opened the carton of Indomie and other siblings joined. Being that there is no singular grain of food in the house, no Kobo in my pocket and for the unending lockdown, I lost my temper. That was it! A neighbour reported: Angrily, Mr. Titus bounced on Temple, his son, lifted the poor boy and he fell on his head and collapsed,...neighbours screamed, gathered and rushed the boy to the hospital. #SeriousMatter Mr Titus is completely remorseful. He said it was out of frustration and called for help. As I write the children have not eaten since morning and there is No Hope! The doctor recommended a brain scan for Temple, no money for that! The first Daughter is in pains of sickle cell anaemia, no idea of what to do! I am totally heartbroken #COVID-19 #Lockdown #Palliatives Who can help Mr. Titus? Who can help Master Temple? Who can help the First Daughter? Who can help the other kids? An SOS! Mother of Good Counsel Initiative Access Bank 0030659714 Although the father has taken responsibility of his actions but there is little or nothing he can do since he has no money pls help this family anything can go a long way right now.

http://www.orangeblog.com.ng/2020/05/warning-nigerians-dont-go-out-on-may.html The president made an announcement last week about the relaxation of the lockdown as Nigerians are complaining of hunger and lack of cash. Therefore, the president Muhammadu Buhari ordered that the lockdown will be lifted tomorrow may 4th and people can go to their businesses apart from schools, churches and any large gatherings. He also said social distancing and other preventive measures of covid 19 should be observed. Warning Nigerians if you love your life don't go out of your home may 4th, because of these reasons especially Lagosians : 1. The crowd will be too much on the first day of the end of lockdown, as many business men and women will be out as quick as possible, to avoid frustration don't go out. 2. Covid 19 cases is still on the rise, for over 2 days now the daily cases in Nigeria are over 200 amid lockdown, if you rush out tommorow you might make the cases increase by 1. 3. Don't go out tomorrow if you don't have your face mask to prevent unnecessarily harassment from Policemen and unnecessarily fees. I urge you all to remain at home for a week more because of safety reasons, crowds and rush will be to much. Just give yourself 2or 3 days break. It might save your life. http://www.orangeblog.com.ng/2020/04/cosmetic-surgeon-anu-accuses-luth-of.html Self Acclaimed Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Anu posted a video to address allegations that ex beauty Queen Nneka died after a botched surgery she performed, and showed papers to show she is qualified to carry out surgeries.... She accuses the Lagos State university teaching hospital of being responsible for the death of the beauty queen... According to her "Hi everyone, good evening I'm Doctor Anu, I have been seeing all the stories online and I have decided to respond to them. I will start by stating my qualifications and I will briefly talk about the issue of the patient who passed on I have an MBBS degree which means medicine bachelor bachelor of surgery, I'm also a cosmetic surgeon trained in the American academy, I'm a physician member, i have done well over 300, 300 procedures successful. I have never lost a patient in my facility, no patient have ever died in my facility. Now the issue of the girl who died a year ago, the beauty queen, she had a procedure done with us, I cannot really say so much because of breach of confidentiality and it is very unfair that the videos of this lady will be posted up like that I believe people should respect the dead and not just be after fame or after getting traffic on their blogs and if there really is a problem I believe they should go through the right channel instead of sensitive contents of the patient who is dead online. I sympathize with the family and may her soul rest in peace. She didn't die in our facility, she had the procedure done she had a pneumonia and that was why she went to LUTH in the first place, she went to LUTH herself. She was in LUTH for over a month, they made her lie on her bum, discontinued the antibiotics medications which is a problem that can make the patient resistant to that particular class of antibiotics. This patient was mis-managed in LUTH, LUTH should be the one answering certain questions on how they managed this patient for over a month and she died. As a Doctor, as a physician on my part I did my best, however the patient was fine she didn't have any post up complications, she was doing okay. She had breathlessness, she had a pneumonia and there's evidence to show that she didn't have fat in her lungs. Now this is a medical condition and I referred to.. then in LUTH because they had a respiratory unit and they could manage such condition. I had no idea that they were going to mismanaged the patient, so they discontinued her drugs, she was on her bum, she was supposed to turn frequently or not sit on the bum, you know, but they had to make her stay on the bum, they do not have experience in this aspect of medicine which is aspect of cosmetic surgery. It is not yet a popular field, people don't really so much about it only a few people do it in Nigeria."
