sexybol: The best bet for is to go to the nearest Nigeria Civil defence office and make a formal complain. The guy will be invited and given a short period to pay you back either instalmentaly or in full. But if he can convince the officers he actually don't have money, they either sue him to court or the Civil defence arrange for an amicable payment plan. Please note that on no account should the guy get too closer to d officer more than you (it could be b dangerous, you know what I mean). Lastly based on experience no gree make them make your payment by cash always insist on transfer into your account otherwise Na double tithe " those" guys go collect. But by and large the best way to trouble your debtors is through the Nigeria Civil defence, they are more effective at it more than the police. Noted.....thanks bro |

Phillfree: A man was owing me 250k, whenever I call he will ask me to just hold on for a while. It continued this way for 6 months and I never gave up. He actually got tired of me because it got to a point I started going to his office and house thrice a week. So finally, he issued me a cheque of 250k. I happily left for the bank only to discover his account had just 200k. I quickly paid 50k into his account and withdrew my 250k. Immediately he got the alert he called me that he is sorry, he just remembered he has less than 250k. Errr.......i don't really understand u |

Kingsoul1: Lol funny comments all the way down.. First of all bro are you sure the person he is trying to get his money from has the money presently and maybe still delaying to pay up. And how much is involved? If its not up to a N100K Don't involve the police... Well if its up to that or above that ah think you should involve the police.. But then the police won't help you get your money for free you will have to pay up.. (Estimated at N20k before they will help) Here is the advice: visit a nearby police station and lay a complaint about someone owing you for some time and is refusing to pay up, that you need them to help you recover your money.. They will ask if you want the person to be arrested or invited for interrogation, that's your choice to make.. But to be fair to your debtor go for the police invitation once the police invites your Debtor he becomes threatened and scared. Therefore he will pay up the money by all means or risk being arrested and detained till he pays up.. Shared this based on past experience.. i guess m gon' try this out?....tho m being skeptical abt this |

Hi NLander
Someone asked me today to advice him how best he could deal with a particular debtor who has been owing him an amount of money for the past 3 month but keeps postponing and he has a feeling that he won't pay him the money....but as a gentleman i am(plus I've never been in that situation before)i couldn't come up with a good plan
so I'm asking my fellow NLanders who might have been in the same shoe one way or the other how you handled the issue then or how you're planning to deal with such person |

At times we do some crazy stuffs knowingly or unknowingly which later you realized how dumb you were to have done that particular thing at that moment, your reaction could had been 'did i just do that' 'i can't believe i was so stupid'......... ,in some cases it could have been under the influence of alcohol Share with us that craziest one you can never forget in a hurry
Here's mine.... Just last week,i went out clubbing with pals over the weekend, was so high on bottles......on my way home, i met a cute chick,in my 'highness' state i approached her and told her straight up 'give me your number',she was like 'are you crazy' ,i asked her for the second time she didn't respond, the next thing i remembered doing was i gave her a dirty slap......come see film that night.....she tore my cloth to pieces that night.....it took the intervention of the securities in the club that night everything calmed down....i still can't say what came over me that night
