Hello All,

Please if someone is issued a student visa to study in Germany but want to visit home(Naija) during the holidays, is there any procedure(s) to undertake? Or just buy your flight ticket and board.

I am asking, because i know in some countries there are some procedures to follow.

1. University of Ulm (Chemical Engineering)
2. University of Bremerhaven (Process Engineering & Energy Technology)
3. University of Magdeburg (Chemical and Energy Engineering)
4. University of Munster (Chemical Engineering)


Please is there anyone who has in-depth knowledge of any of these schools and cities? Please help a brother out…

I. Quality of school
II. Life in the city (…and availability of student jobs)
III. Settling down after school


Please no information is too small, I believe there are quite a number of people heading to these schools, and you will be helping not just me but US make the right choice.

I studied CHE and would have loved to but this their uni-assist and close deadline are the obstacles. I applied for Energy Science and Tech where they insisted on IELTS according to their site. I applied without it since it's allowed to be provided before enrollment.

While writing to them, inform them your studies from nursery were in English. Good luck!

I contacted a friend of mine in Abuja to help me with it. It took quite sometime tho (...about a month). I reside in Lagos state.

Please anybody here in University of Ulm? Or can you connect me with someone you know there?

I just want to confirm if IELTS is compulsory for admission, cos I applied with a letter of English Language proficiency from the Ministry of Education.

I would have mailed the course coordinator or admissions office as i did in other schools i applied to, but University of Ulm has no emails of such in their official website.

Please any info to help out on this will be highly appreciated.
