I did biometrics in April 2022, ppr came august 2023 but i have April 2023 on my sticker.

Were you invited? If yes, have a copy of your invitation letter with you, the contact of such person should be available in case they want to reach him/her on your case (like they did late last year. Can you imagine?). Have your phone connected to internet, also. If you are going as a tourist, hold your hotel booking along with you even if you are staying with someone else. You may cancel immediately you have passed POE. Let your work ID be on your phone to show you are working legitimately at home, let your debit card be with you. Be ready for them from any angle. NO GREE FOR ETHIOPIAN AIRLINE OO

Above all, I wish you a stress free journey and please, come back to share your experience at Adisababa to see if they have relaxed their tough rule on blacks when you finally land in Canada

Hi, landed Toronto on Tuesday. No issues at all, except in lagos where the person that was supposed to print my boarding pass started asking unnecessary questions, say what’s the purpose of my visit , I told him I’m visiting my Aunty, he asked to see her PR card but I told her she’s a citizen, baba asked to see her passport. I had to call my aunt in the middle of the night to send her passport which she did, the man still complained that the passport has expired, that’s how my Aunty lost her cool, she went like “what the f is wrong with you people in Nigeria, does expiration of my passport take away my citizenship Bola bla bla “ , baba sha print my boarding pass and allow me go. Landed Addis Ababa and no question at all, landed Toronto, they just asked what I’m coming in with. Less than 2 minutes, I was cleared. Unfortunately I missed my flight to Calgary cos I couldn’t get my checked baggage, Air Canada rescheduled the flight for me , I waited 3 hours for the next flight . Toronto wasn’t cold as expected, I thought that’s how everywhere would be until I got to Calgary, the cold rushed me as I stepped out of the airport, I ran back in. Thanks to God and everyone here, safely home and adjusting. Best of luck to everyone expecting. And may God heal Nigeria, cos just few days here, I found out Nigeria is like 500 years behind.

To book one way on a visit visa?? CERTAINLY NO! In fact, they won't let you board from Nigeria. If by chance you just managed to board by LUCK(which I doubt can happen) you won't be allowed entry into Canada but deportation straightaway (God forbid).

Ethiopian airways still bothers and may refused those with return ticket to board to their final destination to Canada from Adisababa layover because it's a VISIT VISA, how much worse a one way ticket If at all Ethiopian airline will let you board from Adisababa to Canada by chance on a visit visa with your complete return ticket, they will tell you to call your family members on a video call and let that fellow show them his or her PR card or international passport with your own WIFI. Imagine you don't have Wi-Fi on your phone They showed travelers to Canada on a visit visa shege pro max even with their return tickets.

Besides, how would you explain to the border officers at the POE on why you booked a oneway ticket after you were able to convince the VO of your financial stability? Don't try it, please 🙏

The further devaluation of Naira made the cost of air ticket to skyrocket this much. Keep checking all the time for price tickets day, night and midnight. I pray you see a favourable ticket fee.

On this , I just booked a return ticket on Ethiopian airlines last week, I’m hoping I won’t be shown the shege pro max . I’ve had a VV since August last year and plan to move this month. The flight was quite expensive sef , 2.9m.

With a Canada visa, you don't need a transit visa to transit through any European or African country.
You can book your ticket on any of the airline websites or you can use any of the following to book or compare prices.

- qatarairways.com
- wakanow.com
- turkishairlines.com
- eygptair.com

Don't transit through the USA unless you have a US visa because the US airports don't have transit halls and every passenger is treated as if the US is their last stop.

No big deal, got there around 12:30, I was even scared I might not get it , but I saw a line and joined it. They gave numbers I got number 367. Got in around 3:00 and that was all. Apparently some people got in earlier as collection is between 12 and 2

Please how long was your passport with ircc before they sent this email. My mom got the mail that her passport has been received at the ircc office today. I want to calculate the expected delivery time. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks we sent the passport for stamping.

I used courier. Got the PPR late and I had just about 7 days left . So I just decided to not bother seeking appointment and use courier instead .
