The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S10 is gradually turning out to be a great and interesting device with each new bit unveiled.
At present, we are expecting three devices from Samsung. The Galaxy S10 (codenamed Beyond 0) which features a 5.8-inch regular (read non-curved) Super AMOLED screen, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a dual 12MP wide + 12MP tele camera.

The Galaxy S10+ (Beyond 1) to come with a 6.2-inch curved Super AMOLED, under the display fingerprint scanner, triple rear camera 12MP wide + 12MP tele + 16MP fixed-focus 120-degree super wide angle, and single front-facing camera.

And finally , Galaxy S10+ (Beyond 2) with a 6.44-inch curved Super AMOLED, under the display fingerprint scanner, triple rear camera 12MP wide + 12MP tele + 16MP fixed-focus 120-degree super wide angle and a new dual selfie camera.

For now, no word on the configuration of the two selfie cameras that will be used but something similar to that of the Galaxy A8 (2018) is expected – a 16MP + 8MP – setup aimed at Live Focus (portrait mode) selfies.
The information was reported by The Bell, citing industry sources.

Samsung will launch its 10-anniversary Galaxy S10 series at the Mobile World Congress in 2019. However as things are going now, more info about the Samsung’s future flagships would leak before that.

A device that could bring some answers to our questions may following the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy Note9 when it becomes official next month on August 9.

Zambia is now the latest African country that is is about to shutdown the use of social media by their citizens .

According to an information from the Monitor, Zambia’s Communication Minister, Brian Mushimba, told parliament that some Zambians were using social media to send pornographic images, spread hate speech and to commit identity theft.

"PRIOR TO THE PROLIFERATION OF SOCIAL MEDIA, PEOPLE IN ZAMBIA BEHAVED AND COMMUNICATED WITHIN ACCEPTABLE AND EXPECTED CULTURAL BOUNDARIES,” HE SAID.
“INCIDENTS OF IMPERSONATIONS, PEOPLE BEING INSULTED, ABUSED, FALSELY ACCUSED OR DEFRAUDED ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS HAVE REACHED AN ALARMING STATE", Zambia’s Communication Minister Said.

He further said that these new laws that are yet to be drafted will introduce penalties for those abusing social media although he didn’t clarify on how the laws would be enforced.

Another report from Lusaka Times , stated that Zambia will not introduce tax on social media, as what we have seen in Uganda. The minister said they will not copy Uganda but they will work in conjunction with the Zambia Information and Communication Authority (ZICTA) and will continue sensitizing the productive usage of the platform.

Sports games by their nature don’t turn up for each new season as entirely fresh products.
The economics of the industry have determined that they re-use the same engine and models for years at a time, which means the difference between them can often be limited to current uniforms, a few new features and some adjustments to ball physics. And those changes are usually influenced as much by fan feedback as they are by the development teams working on them.

So it’s tough looking at say Madden 18 as something entirely separate, since its creation was heavily influenced by the sales and reception of Madden 17 , and it will in turn play a big part in how
Madden 19 is designed.
How do you pick one of those games and say, ok, THIS ONE is the best, when much of what made it great may have been inspired by—or come directly from—an entirely different video game?

Then you have to take into account the way sports games have changed their entire outlook over the last 20 years. In the 90s, series like FIFA and NBA Live were perfectly happy being fast, accessible, almost arcadey.

Fast forward to today and advances in technology have turned blockbuster sports games into simulations, each one trying its hardest to replicate the on-field experience as best it can (or, if it can’t, then the broadcast experience instead). This makes direct comparisons between games in long-running series pretty damn hard!

Making matters worse is that each sport is different, with its own set of fans, style of play and culture. What makes the #1 baseball game better than the #1 hockey game? Is football better than basketball?

So after lingering over a short list of truly great sports games— Madden 2002, NBA 2K11, Pro Evolution 6, NBA Jam, NFL 2K5 —I’ve settled the tie by going with one that wasn’t just a very good sports game in its own right, but one which decided to give fans everything they could have wanted or needed for years to come, all in the one box.


The game I'm talking about all this while is nothing but the great FIFA: Road to World Cup 98 , as bizarre but beloved a major sports game as I think we’re ever going to see.
At the time of its release in 1997, it was a damn fine football game. It had very flash polygonal visuals, audio commentary, all the things we’ve long associated as being hallmarks of the
FIFA series. But it’s where the game went above and beyond what we expect of a sports game can include, whether at the time or today, that marks it as truly great.


INDOOR FOOTBALL - In addition to regular 11v11 football, FIFA 98 also included an entirely separate 5v5 indoor mode, with its own rules and conditions, like the fact the ball never went out of bounds. It was just as fun as the actual FIFA . Maybe more fun. And while it had actually been introduced in FIFA 97 , the fact it stuck around in 98 when there was so much else in the box is one of the things that helped cement this game’s legacy.
AN ACTUAL WORLD CUP - The reason for the game’s longer title was the fact that the development team decided to include, alongside domestic leagues, the 1998 World Cup.

Not just the finals in France, but the entire qualifying system as well. That meant over 170 nations and their squads made it into the game, an absolutely ridiculous number that literally represented every football-playing country on Earth at the time (modern FIFA games usually only include a few dozen). You could, if you wanted, play as one of the smallest nations on the planet, take them all the way through qualifying then win the tournament itself, a feat so monumental that after FIFA 98 it would only be seen again in standalone video games specifically made for World Cups.


CUSTOMISATION: Besides the 170+ national teams, there were almost 200 club sides included in the game as well. And you could customise the lot. Home kits, away kits, even a player’s appearance. I remember spending what must have been weeks tinkering with this, making sure that every major team’s kit matched its actual design, and that player haircuts had been accurately recreated. This wasn’t just useful in 1997, either; people were playing FIFA 98 for years to come because as 1998, then 1999 rolled around, you could just update the kit designs again.

Here’s the most incredible thing about all this: FIFA 98 was so big it made another of EA’s own video games completely pointless. In addition to
FIFA 98 (released in 1997), EA Sports had a game in development designed to cash in on the World Cup itself, due for release in early 1998. Simply called
World Cup 1998, it had official branding throughout, from the tournament mascot to branded kits (a first for the series). But with only 40 teams, what was the point of buying it it when you could just fire up FIFA 98 , edit some kits and enjoy much the same experience?

To get non- FIFA fans up to speed on just how crazy this was, it’s like NBA 2K18 shipping on four blu-rays, or the next MLB game deciding to include the entire Japanese and Korean pro leagues, just for one year, just for the hell of it.

This kind of thing just isn’t supposed to happen with sports games, because it gives fans everything they need to
not buy your game the next year. Yet here we have, for one beautiful year, EA sports giving away the keys to the kingdom. Amongst the blur of year-to-year releases, FIFA 98's largesse looms large like no other sports game’s inclusions ever have.

The use of Social Media in Uganda has officially become a taxable activity, This means that those that use Facebook, WhatsApp, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr and other social media services are now being charged a certain amount of bill for using these services which started from 1st July..

According to the government’s decree, every activity from Tinder to Tumblr must be blocked by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) unless users make the tax payment from their mobile phones.

Having said that, VPNs are now the order of the day as users now sees them as their only means to avoid this new order on their country. In response to this development, the administration says it has ordered local ISPs to begin blocking VPNs.

In a joint statement, ISPs MTN, Airtel, and Africell informed their customers that the services listed above would be blocked until they make their payments. Payment must be made in advance via mobile phones, with a small discount available if customers pay a month in advance.

Within few hours of the news that VPNs were gaining in popularity, the government stepped to tackle the situation.

In a statement, Uganda Communications Commission Executive Director, Godfrey Mutabazi said that Internet service providers would be ordered to block VPNs to prevent citizens from avoiding the social media tax.

Since you have installed Yoast plugin, when posting, scroll down until you see "Yoast seo", click on sharing button you will see Facebook and Twitter, On facebook look down you will see upload button, upload any image you want to use as featured image ( the image resolution should be between 1200x800px and 2000x1600px, and should be less than 2mb in size).
Do the same with Twitter if you're also having problem with it.

Russian cybersecurity software maker Kaspersky Labs has announced it will be moving core infrastructure processes to Zurich, Switzerland, as part of a shift announced last year to win back customer trust.

It also said it’s arranging for the process to be independently supervised by a Switzerland-based third party qualified to conduct technical software reviews.
“By the end of 2019, Kaspersky Lab will have established data center in Zurich and in this facility will store and process all information for users in Europe, North America, Singapore, Australia, Japan and South Korea, with more countries to follow,” it writes in a press release.
“Kaspersky Lab will relocate to Zurich its ‘software build conveyer’ — a set of programming tools used to assemble ready to use software out of source code. Before the end of 2018, Kaspersky Lab products and threat detection rule databases (AV databases) will start to be assembled and signed with a digital signature in Switzerland, before being distributed to the endpoints of customers worldwide.

“The relocation will ensure that all newly assembled software can be verified by an independent organization, and show that software builds and updates received by customers match the source code provided for audit.”
In October the company unveiled what it dubbed a “comprehensive transparency initiative” as it battled suspicion that its antivirus software had been hacked or penetrated by the Russian government and used as a route for scooping up US intelligence.

Since then Kaspersky has closed its Washington D.C. office— after a ban on its products for U.S. government use which was signed into law by president Trump in December .
Being a trusted global cybersecurity firm and operating core processes out of Russia where authorities might be able to lean on your company for access has essentially become untenable as geopolitical concern over the Kremlin’s online activities has spiked in recent years.

Yesterday the Dutch government became the latest public sector customer to announce a move away from Kaspersky products (via Reuters) — saying it was doing so as a “precautionary measure”, and advising companies operating vital services to do the same.
Responding to the Dutch government’s decision, Kaspersky described it as “very disappointing”, saying its transparency initiative is “designed precisely to address any fears that people or organisations may have”.
“We are implementing these measures first and foremost in response to the evolving, ultra-connected global landscape and the challenges the cyber-world is currently facing,” the company adds in a detailed Q&A about the measures. “This is not exclusive to Kaspersky Lab, and we believe other organizations will in future also choose to adapt to these trends. Having said that, the overall aim of these measures is transparency, verified and proven, which means that anyone with concerns will now be able to see the integrity and trustworthiness of our solutions.”

The core processes that Kaspersky will move from Russia to Switzerland over this year and next — include customer data storage and processing (for “most regions”); and software assembly, including threat detection updates.
As a result of the shift it says it will be setting up “hundreds” of servers in Switzerland and establishing a new data center there, as well as drawing on facilities of a number of local data center providers.

Kaspersky is not exiting Russia entirely, though, and products for the Russian market will continue to be developed and distributed out of Moscow.
“In Switzerland we will be creating the ‘worldwide’ (ww) version of our products and AV bases. All modules for the ww-version will be compiled there. We will continue to use the current software build conveyer in Moscow for creating products and AV bases for the Russian market,” it writes, claiming it is retaining a software build conveyor in Russia to “simplify local certification”.

Data of customers from Latin American and Asia (with the exception of Japan, South Korea and Singapore) will also continue to be stored and processed in Russia — but Kaspersky says the list of countries for which data will be processed and stored in Switzerland will be “further extended, adding: “The current list is an initial one… and we are also considering the relocation of further data processing to other planned Transparency Centers, when these are opened.”

Whether retaining a presence and infrastructure in Russia will work against Kaspersky’s wider efforts to win back trust globally remains to be seen.
In the Q&A it claims: “There will be no difference between Switzerland and Russia in terms of data processing. In both regions we will adhere to our fundamental principle of respecting and protecting people’s privacy, and we will use a uniform approach to processing users’ data, with strict policies applied.”

However other pre-emptive responses in the document underline the trust challenge it is likely to face — such as a question asking what kind of data stored in Switzerland that will be sent or available to staff in its Moscow HQ.

By default only aggregated statistics data will be sent to R&amp in Moscow. However, Kaspersky Lab experts from HQ and other locations around the world will be able to access data stored in the Transparency Center. Each information request will be logged and monitored by the independent Swiss-based organization.”
Clearly the robustness of the third party oversight provisions will be essential to its Global Transparency Initiative winning trust.

Kaspersky’s activity in Switzerland will be overseen by an (as yet unnamed) independent third party which the company says will have “all access necessary to verify the trustworthiness of our products and business processes”, including: “Supervising and logging instances of Kaspersky Lab employees accessing product meta data received through KSN [Kaspersky Security Network] and stored in the Swiss data center; and organizing and conducting a source code review, plus other tasks aimed at assessing and verifying the trustworthiness of its products.

Switzerland will also host one of the dedicated Transparency Centers the company said last year that it would be opening as part of the wider program aimed at securing customer trust.

It expects the Swiss center to open this year, although the shifting of core infrastructure processes won’t be completed until Q4 2019. (It says on account of the complexity of redesigning infrastructure that’s been operating for ~20 years — estimating the cost of the project to be $12M.)

Within the Transparency Center, which Kaspersky will operate itself, the source code of its products and software updates will be available for review by “responsible stakeholders” — from the public and private sector.
It adds that the details of review processes — including how governments will be able to review code — are “currently under discussion” and will be made public “as soon as they are available”.

And providing government review in a way that does not risk further undermining customer trust may also provide a tricky balancing act for Kaspersky, given multi-directional geopolitical sensibilities, so the devil will be in the policy detail vis-a-vis “trusted” partners and whether the processes it deploys can reassure all of its customers all of the time.
“Trusted partners will have access to the company’s code, software updates and threat detection rules, among other things,” it writes, saying the Center will provide these third parties with: “Access to secure software development documentation; Access to the source code of any publicly released product; Access to threat detection rule databases; Access to the source code of cloud services responsible for receiving and storing the data of customers based in Europe, North America, Australia, Japan, South Korea and Singapore; Access to software tools used for the creation of a product (the build scripts), threat detection rule databases and cloud services”; along with “technical consultations on code and technologies”.

It is still intending to open two additional centers, one in North America and one in Asia, but precise locations have not yet been announced.

On supervision and review Kaspersky also says that it’s hoping to work with partners to establish an independent, non-profit organization for the purpose of producing professional technical reviews of the trustworthiness of the security products of multiple members — including but not limited to Kaspersky Lab itself.
Which would certainly go further to bolster trust. Though it has nothing firm to share about this plan as yet.
“Since transparency and trust are becoming universal requirements across the cybersecurity industry, Kaspersky Lab supports the creation of a new, non-profit organization to take on this responsibility, not just for the company, but for other partners and members who wish to join,” it writes on this.
Next month it’s also hosting an
online summit to discuss “the growing need for transparency, collaboration and trust” within the cybersecurity industry.

Commenting in a statement, CEO Eugene Kaspersky, added: “ In a rapidly changing industry such as ours we have to adapt to the evolving needs of our clients, stakeholders and partners. Transparency is one such need, and that is why we’ve decided to redesign our infrastructure and move our data processing facilities to Switzerland. We believe such action will become a global trend for cybersecurity, and that a policy of trust will catch on across the industry as a key basic requirement”.
