How do you feel about CAC as a whole.
Ive been in CAC all my life. My dad is a pastor and i go to many CACs just to do music with them and help out with youth groups. But it just doesn't seem the same to me anymore. I used to be the one waking my parents up to come to church on a saturday or during the week.  Now its whatever,  ill be there when I'm there.  WHATS GOING ON WITH CAC,  i heard its things wrong in Nigeria with CAC as well,  share some knowledge
CultureRe: Is There A Such Thing As Being Too Americanized? by biggz(op): 8:40pm On Jun 25, 2008
well i was maybe gearing towards nigerian american people. Like myself im trying to get into my culture HARD but its not working. My parents tried to teach me yoruba but i have a little accent that wont let it happen. but i understand it clearly. And i have cousins that are the same way. We all attend nigerian churches and from the way we dress, the way we talk, to the way we play music its not fitting to our surroundings, when we are around our family and other nigerians. undecided. But we are trying tho, we just know its gonna take a while. A LOOOOOONNNNGG while

Music/RadioRe: Are Nigerian Musicians Really Good? by biggz(m): 3:26pm On Jun 19, 2008
to me it think its on the musician itself. I know a few nigerian musicians who play just nigerian music. and if you was to put them in a jazz environment there would be a problem. Its on the musician, i tell alot of kids i teach/tutor that if u want to play the drums, piano dont be an african drummer or american drummer, become a DRUMMER so regardless of what area you are in you got it no matter what. But its on the musician and the exposure they have been in. Thank my 2 cents grin
