We all know majority of our parents turns out to be siblings or bear the same traits when the word "dream", "goal" is being served on the table with your parents sitting at the other end. Imagine your father taught you how to hunt rabbits and other small animal that literally don't require a face off, and you got good at it.
He has survived with that type of hunt for years. Over time, you got bored, you need a new type of hunt.
You had the discussion with your father and he was like, no, my son, this is not right, what i've taught you can sustain you, what you're looking for might end you or you might end up loosing everything. But the drive in you is not about sustainability, it's more than that.
Let's tie this together, the hunt is everything you father/parents has taught you, put you through, sacrificed for you and most times your parents doesn't see you beyond that. I mean, you're equipped with the skill of hunting rabbits, why would you want to hunt an elephant or a Buffalo.
Tell you old man you want to pursue your dream, watch him look at you with emptiness. But tell him you want to apply for M.Sc, man could pull a loan for you. Personally, this doesn't make 'em bad individuals, they're stucked, they want the best for you but in a way they envision it, not you.
I'm not deploring education, it's good but if you want more out of life, certificate will not suffice. Lastly,this might sound harsh though but if your parents are where you want to be in life, do not listen to 'em.

It was later I realized that I have made a mistake, when my brother pointed it out that one of my close friends that I forwarded the voice note to might be the mastermind of what's happening.

Dangote himself cannot set the price of PMS, the government does it. They sell crude oil to him, they have a stake in his refinery. Dangote is a private figure, baba has to, will, must play along.
