Very soon we will know the truth. If it turns out Russia has nit evacuated that base i will be here to mock you. Botragelad: Sure put them here, back up your claim! 😂 You really want us to take Russia mods words or whatever trash you call them but you won't take the sources I posted. Keep crying about it.
You claim they were participating in a training exercise, I'm saying they are pulling out their ships. Why are you the one getting so emotional about me not agreeing with your claim? 😂😂 |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Debate On Who Actually Own Gaza And The Contested Land Of Isreal by Bigsam99: 4:31pm On Jul 28, 2024 |
You need to hide your head in shame. The land your great grandfathwr bequeathed to your family in the village, do you know the people living there 2 thousand years ago? If their descendants come back and throw all of you out will you be happy? Nobody actually is indigenous to where they are today but alot of migrations had happened over the years. Imagine if the red Indians begin to kill and dispossess white Americans or the aborigines begin displacing white Australians. Ibadan was built on Gbagura land 200 years ago, imagine if egbas start kicking them out? The supporters of Israel don't even know what precedence they are supporting. One day somebody stronger than you can come and take your home from you under any stupid excuse and you can't do anything about it. PaNnamdi: Where are the imams and Gaza sympathizers on nairaland.oya ooo food don set come out and prove that the Jews are not historic owners of isreali land |

Except if he is being paid to do so, which i seriously suspect. Alamkir: My brother I don't understand how that is possible. Even in my free time I can't even be that devoted |

In Nigeria's case, as a heterogeneous country, i truly believe resting too much power in the hands of one person will not work as there are too many conflicting powerful groups. True federalism is the ideal, yet the current political leadership have selfishly refused to implement that and they would not unless they are forced to by an event bigger than them. It could be a mass revolution that dissolves the current republic and forces a constitutional review. It could also be a temporary military coup with a transitional period where the entire structure is rearranged and elections follow. But you cannot look at military coups and condemn them in totality. Some good have come of coups in other countries. erniok: Getting all emotional solves nothing and for the records, I do not like in the slightest way, what our country has turned to but you need to acknowledge the army you so much hope will save you may grossly disappoint you.
Before BAT became the president, he was arguing that we need restructuring and now, no sign of that yet. The problem with the political class is the will power to effect the right changes and damn the consequences. For example, the federal character principle needs to be urgently addressed to bring out the best but no one would want to do so because a section of the country would get offended. Don't think the military would touch it with a long spoon.
Any take over by southern officers will definitely lead to a counter coup by northern officers and should northern officers take over, they'd want to maintain the status quo to please their people. You can take this to the bank.
True federalism, giving states power over their resources, strengthening state institutions remains our best options but who will bell the cat. |

Like most US tacit operations, they did not officially declared support for Buhari but their actions and declarations favoured him. Jonathan has spoke extensively on this and you can get tons of media reports on it. The US sabotaged Jonathan's fight against Bomo Haram. The US media wrote several opeds declaring that Buhari is a better candidate. erniok: How do you mean they supported Buhari. I need more clarity on this. |

Now somebody on this forum will deny vehemently that there are no Jewish terrorists, that Jews are not killing innocent Palestinians unprovoked. Vic2023: Japan is preparing sanctions against Israeli settlers involved in violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. This was reported by NHK TV channel. |

What about the accusation that the US supported Buhari to energe president? erniok: It's your responsibility to bring back your girls and they only lent a voice like some are doing in both Gaza and Ukraine case even if they can't send troops and in Gaza case arms.
In arms deal, GEJ bungled it up like SA deal. There are diplomatic channels to use and give assurance that it won't be used on your citizens. If need be, you pay a personal visit on this issue. Indira Gandhi did same for india so also did so in the past when india was having issues with Pakistan. Most people viewed GEJ as a weak and indecisive leader and it affected his performance in the election. |

Please stop arguing with that idiot. I am sure he is one of the people still saying the US went to war with Iraq because Saddam had weaponsnof mass destruction. No matter what you say, he will pull up one silly lie and drop it as long as its a western source. What reason did they give for attacking Libya, a sovereign nation? To protect civilians. Did they end up protecting civilians or destroying the country? Jovi10: You put embargo on us buying weapons from you or you said you are not selling weapons to us , same you went ahead to block our buying of weapons from another country. Still same you started the bringbackourgirls campaign lying to the entire world that the government was incompetent or unserious about fighting boko haram when infact you are the one(USA ) who has frustrated every effort to aquire weapons to fight boko haram. Last last we had to go to Russia to buy weapons which was what was used even by Buharis government in fighting boko haram.
Yet one idiot one to come and defend the USA again. |

Someone else has done that before and at this moment I give up on you, cos it is obvious you are dumb but think you are smart. Enjoy your stupidity. Bye. obedience4: I hate stupid mentions, if you can provide me of the wikileaks files linking USA to boko haram please do, if not keep your stupid assertions to yourself.. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Bigsam99: 11:57am On Jul 22, 2024 |
You are impossible. How much evidence did the lesders of US present to convince their gullible elite that Iraq possesed invisible weapons of mass destruction? There is enough circumstantial evidence linking US to several terrorist groups including boko haram. Of course, US will deny. Wikileaks alone is enough. The US knows the guy is exposing them that's why they hate him. obedience4: He doesn't read the links he post, all he looks for are headlines with both the US and Boko haram together and paste online, his dumb followers won't even take time to read and digest what was written, they just assumed the rubbish he posts, why do you think WriterNig post cut and paste news without links to back up his posts. |

How many Canaanites did the Hebrews kill? Lawag3: So the hadith of Bukhari I'd fabricated I thought it's the most trust worthy.
Mohammed killed many Jews( that alone is a reason) before the woman poisoned him. Although I'm not sure it was said Mohammed killed her husband I check that and comfirm.
What of the 700 Jews who helped him that he killed.
Why then did he tell his followers in the Quran to kill Jews or did Mohammed not say so himself. |

You yourself gave the example of El sisi. Usually, long reigning and highly accepted military rulers will adopt some civilian attributes eventually. El Sisi did, Babangida did, Ghaddafi did. The argument you brought forward is whether coups and military rules are bad and i challenged you that it all depends on contest. Then you began to twist the narrative everytime I bring evidence to back my claim. obedience4: Kagame is the only example you came up with, and rawnada is not under military rule.
I asked for examples of countries under military juntas, I nevven er asked for countries whos leaders were once military juntas, they are 8 nations currently under military juntas you are supposed to cite your examples from there
PS I wasn't talking to you in the first place, keep your fallacies to your self. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Bigsam99: 4:49pm On Jul 21, 2024 |
Why do you keep shifting goalposts? I gave you examples of military rulers that ended up as much loved administrators. No matter what, military rulers always comvert to civilian. Give the people of Burkina Faso and other African countries the chance. obedience4: There is a huge difference between monarchy style of government and military juntas
A military rule is not a feasible option for governance, its very unstable its disadvantages outweighs it advantages, no country have ever developed through military juntas
That was why I asked that guy to name me any country practicing military juntas that's doing well, Even leaders that got power through military rule quickly discard the system for more Democratic system, look at Sudan and Myanmar they are plague by crisis all cause by military juntas seizing power prematurely.
The question you should be asking is not patient for the IBRAHIM TRAORÉ led junta to develop Burkina faso, the questions is how long can he survive being in power, how many counter coup have he survived noe, how many will he be able to survive. A military junta is not the system of government that can be a catalyst of development. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Bigsam99: 4:13pm On Jul 21, 2024 |
Exactly. So why not be patient for the military rulers of these countries to also transform themselves? Are their people complaining to you? Everything the US and other oppressor western nations go to impose democracy on a country, they usually leave the country worse. Saudi, UAE and other Arab states friendly with the west are monarchies. I am sure if Saudi was pro Russia, US would have been blabbling about how they really need democracy. obedience4: which of them Arab nations that are prosperous that are under military juntas.?
if military rule was so good, why did Paul Kagame swap his kaki for suits.?
Why did president sisi of Egypt swap the kaki for suits and ran for elections.? |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Russia-Ukraine War: World News, Weapons & Battlefield Discussions - Live by Bigsam99: 1:32pm On Jul 21, 2024 |
Shut up your mouth. Western styled democracy is not the best form of government. Every society must operate a style of government that synchronises with its culture. Look at the Chinese system, is it not working? Also, the era of democracy is coming to an end in the west as most of them are under manipulation rather than a true democracy. Imposition of democracy is an excuse for the western powers to put other countries under permanent subjugation. Let the people determine how they want to be ruled. obedience4: Dude you think the junta is the one to save nigeria.
sir give me two examples of countries under military rule that's doing well, you don't have to restrict the examples from the Africa continet, pick any nation of your choice let consider it
Nigeria and the Africa continet is suffering from bad leadership not bad style of government, democracy is and will always be the best system of government, it may not be 100% percent perfect, but as long as power is determined by the common man its will always be the best of out the lots.
