jacobjamie:No mind them.. Honda is a quality product any day. Honda vs Toyota. While there are many vehicle brands in the market, few are as popular, durable, and dependable as Hondas and Toyotas. These two Japanese companies have been producing quality vehicles for many years. But when it comes to choosing one over the other, how can you tell which is a better fit for you? Toyota and Honda have many similarities that can make your decision quite challenging. If you’re thinking in terms of price, safety, and durability, both vehicles check those boxes. However, differences do arise when you start comparing the design, performance, and reliability of each brand. To make your decision easier, here are some key differences between a Toyota and a Honda. Performance: Hondas have higher performance ratings than Toyotas across multiple models. For example, all Honda Civic models have higher engine horsepower than comparable Toyota Corollas. The Toyota Camry does have a high-performance rating, but many other Toyota models (such as the Yaris, Prius and Tundra) are outperformed by Honda. The Honda engine is sportier, more aggressive, and built for high performance. This performance difference goes back to the time when Honda’s founding engineer (Soichiro Honda) was designing engines for his vehicles. In fact, Honda was first an engine company before it got into producing cars. Toyota’s engines are built more for reliability. Durability and Reliability: Speaking of reliability, Toyota doesn’t lie when it boasts about being one of the most dependable vehicles on our roads. Toyota invests a lot of money into research and development, more than any other brand that exists. This means that each Toyota model is built for maximum durability, safety, and reliability while on the road. In other words, Toyotas can withstand much more abuse and negligence than Hondas can. Toyotas seek to create a uniform experience across all their brands. Whether you’re driving a mid-size SUV (such as the Toyota Rav4) or a standard 4-door sedan (such as the Camry), you can expect a predictable and consistent driving experience. Every Toyota drives in a nice, smooth, and consistent manner (Hondas tend to be slightly more spontaneous). And because the brand is backed by years of R& , Toyotas have a better reliability and fuel efficiency record. Safety and Cost Comparison: When it comes to safety features, you will have a harder time making a decision. Both brands are known for their top-notch safety features, beginning from the design of the vehicle all the way to modern technology features. But if you had to split hairs, Honda edges out Toyota in the safety category. Honda is a worldwide leader in safety features- including lane assist and lane watch technology (when switching lanes or making a turn), blind spot monitoring, and collision mitigation when braking. However, in the cost and value for money categories, Toyota outperforms Honda (but not by much). Toyota does have a more robust lineup of models, each priced at a value that drivers often find favorable. http://www.trueautoprotection.com/auto-warranty-and-maintenance-blog/honda-vs.-toyota-differences-between-the-two |
Starkistony:Honestly, you can get it for that amount. Anything is possible but you should know three things. 1. Thats not the right value. 2. You maybe buying a problem car. 3. You will spend more than 200k to fix it except if your a rough guy who doesn't really care about class and Luxury. I bought my DC for 750, instead of buying the correct one with no issue for 900k. I later spend almost 100k to make it top notch with stress, time, energy, emotions etc. I discovered the time, energy, stress and meeting bad mech etc all those my input are worth more than a paltry 150k. Don't make the same mistake. Now that I know better, if I'm buying another one, I will buy the one with no issues, I want it fresh and clean. I no get time for fixing again, the stress made me learn by force, I can do car service and minor repairs now, baba Rashida mechanic no fit cheat me again. |
Suffer dey Africa |
honda001:It was a B! They told me about %50 of the issues because that's what they knew of. Honestly, inspecting a car takes much more than just checking it. E.g. 1. I got to know the fuel pump was bad after driving on top speed for about 80km. 2. The horn will seize sometimes and pick up again, I thot it was a small thing until I get to Ladipo, I had to change the coil in the stearing chamber before it could be fixed. 3. They never told me about the shaft too because they dont know. All those things they never told me is because they never drove the vehicle for long. It is when you drive non stop for like 100km, then you get the picture clearly. Apart from those thing I fixed all other things eg. Engine, transmission, plugs, nozzles, alternator, battery, interior, lights, electricals, locks, Tyres, factory fitted rims, extra tire with factory rim, balljoints, sockets, suspensions, exhaust, radiator, windscreen, bumpers, mudguards, wiper, door glass, sound sys(6 CD loaders) all are in top working conditions. |
Fedrams:All of the above cars you mentioned are good. All the best. |
Toyosienna:You are very correct. Most peeps are too greedy. Cars45 have all grades of vehicles, the Grade A and B are the best. But if you know your way, C and D will do. Imagine a guy wanted to buy a Grade D hyundai sonata 2012 model @900k?! Las Las, na that car go kill am. Most Cheap deals are bad deals, you run from them. |
santakris:No other charges o. The prices are fixed but if you want to negotiate, then Jiji is for you. Go to Jiji, apply the filters to narrow down your search. Don't choose far away vehicles, eg; you cannot be living in Lambe and be looking at cars in far away badagry. Then go for inspection then negotiate. All the best. |
honda001:I changed a bracket and a shaft on front wheel for 15k, fixed AC @10k. Horn 5k. Fuel pump @ 3k Serviced it with Mobile engine oil @5k. Oil filter@ N500 Workmanship @5k. And.. I cruise it to Abuja from Lagos. Now my Honda DC is like a Lamborghini Aventador! It's still got Cars45 logo on its trunk sef.

gbami:Pls and pls, do not buy any car used by a woman or a banker. 90% of women don't care about their car largely because someone bought it for em. They just get in, switch on the ignition and drive, they never care about what's under the hood or creaking sounds etc, not until the car finally break down. Tgen, she pick her phone and say "hey honey, the car just stopped moving" I'm stuck in the bush. |

Heartlessbanker:Hehehehe, Ohh Kiddo, online bantering ain't for you. Honestly, If you continue like this, you would be a confoundedly backward rapscallion and a putrid cold-hearted blight upon society. Now go read your books, school is resuming soon. |
Heartlessbanker:You are so full of shit, the toilet’s jealous. Why not go play on a freeway? |
Heartlessbanker:Respect?!! Hehehe. Don’t worry, the first 30 years of childhood are always the hardest. |
