The Lagos State has been known as pacesetter, foremost and frontier in human infrastructural development, project delivery and new concepts and sustainable development.

The Ministry of Agriculture in a bid to raise agribusiness managers and also reduce hunger and prominently reduce joblessness in Lagos State. The Lagos Agriprenuership Programme was revived through the ministry with partnership with various supports and funds from the state government.

Indeed, the programme projects to support, empower the youths and women in Lagos State but this hope has been dashed and punctured with lies and propagandas.

The programme has failed flatly to meet up to its responsible of meeting up the promises and benefits of the programme. A Nairalander who is also a master's graduate feels disappointed and cheated to see the lecturers using them to achieve their own personal projects in the institute.

All benefits attached with the programme has not been fulfilled, although there was one month's camping on the campus with rigorous training in various trainings like Pig farming, fish farming, and poultry. One of the packages of the programme is to place participants on internship placement, access to loans and certificate from the institute.

After a year of the training, nothing has been done, no internship placement, no loan accessibility and no certificate of participation. Various participants has been lured and lied into the programme again, my set was the 9th set and now we have 14th set and no one has been attended to all these while.

We call on the Lagos State Government to kindly look to the fraud going on through this programme from the Ministry of Agriculture.

Many youths have seen this as a way to move out of the jobless category, many of us are married, we left everything and paid attention to this programme, infact we wrote examination and we worked hard to see a better life.

We call our amiable governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu to kindly put a stop to the ongoing admission and scrutinized activities going with this programme.

I am a member of LAP 9, I am Ojuoluwa Tobiloba for LAP 9.

Youth in agriculture should be encouraged but it is discouraging if all the so called intervention is a scam in its real sense..

It is so painful that Lagos whose legacy almost all states of the federation follows could still come with lies, modern slavery and scams.

I remembered this guys said they will do the EDI training for us to access the Nirsal loan but all is just to wash people and waste their time.

Please can we just help tell Sanwo-Olu to stop this programme or fulfill her promises?

Lap 9 have not been attended to and now they are admitting LAP 13

WHAT IS MUSHROOM
Cultivated mushrooms are edible fungi that grow on decaying organic matter, known as a substrate. Unlike vegetables they do not rely on sunlight to grow. Mushrooms start as very small spawns. The spawns will grow in the substrate to produce a fine white fibrous structure called mycelium. From the mycelium the mushroom fruit is produced. Mushrooms have a high nutritional value and are high in protein. They are also a good source of vitamins (B1, B2, B12 and C), essential amino acids, and carbohydrates but are low in fat and fibre and contain no starch. When fresh they have a very high water content of around 90%. Minerals present include phosphorus, potassium, iron and copper.

*The Life-Cycle Of The Used And Dumped...*

- At the eve of election the youth is a Peacock. Every politician seek ways to woe and attract him to his side.

- During campaign for election the youth is transformed into a Dog. He barks and shouts the name of the party and candidate all over town.

-At election time the youth becomes a Donkey. He works around the clock taking lots of beating with little food or security or even care.

-After the election the youth is changed into a Monkey. He jumps from one office to another and from one place to another seeking favors.

-Until the next election the youth remains a Sheep. Abandoned to his naivety and running towards every stranger expecting a meal.

- Unfortunately however, he can only complete this cycle in a limited number of times before he expires and becomes dumped because the young must grow!

It is past time for a rethink... I think... REYOM
