Having sampled the rate at which youths in Nigeria, Ekiti State in particular are being sidelined in the governance of the nation and fulfilling political and civil obligations, the youths of Ekiti under the umbrella of youth party platform INDEPENDENT DEMOCRATS (ID) has decided to wrestle power out of the hands of unrepentant politicians of the State.
The youth also cried about the no plan for youth activities within the state and the country at large.
In an interview with the aspirants, Mr Ajibare Emmanuel Tosin made it known that youths of Ekiti state and Nigeria needs to know that they ain't leaders of tomorrow as they were being tagged before but they should see themselves as leaders of today. The 35years old aspirant also emphasised that youths in the past were being used as agents of destruction, hooliganism, ballot snatching and political thugs. He said his aspiration to contest was triggered by the way civil servants, pensioners and students were been treated. He made it known that youths should understand the fact that when Nigeria was good, it was as a result of the full involvement of youths in power.
The party chairman,Prince Adeyemi Adeniyi Emmanuel emphasised on the need for youths to come together and stop being political thugs for those who do not care about them. He also pleaded with civil servants, pensioners and the people of Ekiti generally to look towards the youths as a the hope of the state. He further said what the Ekiti people deserves in the next political dispensation is a youth that can genuinely move the state from where it is to the next level.

If Ekiti Youths Still wants to use their Youthful Resources to support Fayose's continuity either he or any of his Dogs he planned to bring on as continuity, then they have decided to be wicked children to their Parents and heartless parents to their unborn children. After all you get is a congo of Rice and probably a thousand Naira and the slavery will continue. Your parents are there without pensions for ever 5years and u still want to follow PDP or APC or Labour Party... What have they done to make Ekiti better? Nothing. All they do is used the foolishness of the youths to strike their parents with Hunger. Ekiti is said to be a civil servants state with nothing to offer the Nation's GDP, and the current Minister for Mineral Resources is from Ekiti state, an ex-governor for that matter, who doesnt even know how rich and blessed Ekiti State is, or maybe they are aware and they black-market those resources and leave Ekitisians to live in poverty with the 2billion allocation they receive every month.
Thanks to Tosin Ajibare for exposing us to those resources that are publicly undiscovered. In Ikere Ekiti alone, I can mention lots and lots of discovery of resources and where they are, but not for this platform.
Youths of Ekiti state should wake up and take what belongs to them, support this young agenda, it's a bloodless political Revolution that will spread across the Nation, Ekiti can actually be like Lagos of professionally explored. Am not an Ekitisian but the nation as a whole, among the youths are waiting earnestly for the prophesy to come to pass through Ekiti State come 2018, if we miss it now, it will take us another 40years to wait, and I guess by then our children will be stoning us to death because we have this opportunity but blow it off for them to suffer 40years after.
