Because few people from Anioma especially those from Ika/Ukwuani axis that suffer from mild identity crisis and claim Benin ancestry (which is true in the context of history, even though they've been Igbonized over the cause of years ), doesn't mean we are suddenly stopped been Igbos overnight.

But there are many ways to kill a rat, Fela used music, Kanu is using almost the same medium to fight the government that oppresses his people (at least according to him), it all boils down to the same method--using mass media to create hysteria and radical consciousness, only difference is one used music to pass his messages across.

And I'm sure if Fela were to be alive today, he will these the present regime with a passion, and probably extend a hand of friendship and solidarity to Kanu.

Fair enough, and I do agree with your views to SOME extent ... only deduction to that is the fact that any political re-alignments along regional lines, or party structure aimed at pushing for secession by IPOB or any Biafran move for that matter would still be stifled by a Northern dominated NASS... We can't pretend these isn't the current political reality in Nigeria... Nigeria is now the property of the North, and until the South unites (not necessarily agree on the same principles, but merge together to ruffle the North, and force them into some type of tight corner politically)... then every other conversation is just cognitive dissonance at its best.
