Career / Re: Why Become A Commercial Pilot? - Many Pilots Never Admit #11 by bilard(m): 2:50pm On Mar 06, 2018

The best school so far is CAE but very expensive. I recommend you go for PEA. my main reason is that; the employ their student pilots immediately after training as flight instructors. this is crucial as it will help u to build the necessary flying hours to land a flying job as a pilot. NB: while building additional hours as an instructor u also get paid at the same time. 99% of flying school pass out students after obtaining 250 hours meanwhile u need up to 500 hours to land a flying job and 1500 hours for major airlines. how then can u get the additional hours to enable you apply for jobs as a pilot? PEA answers this questions.

to answer other of ur questions u need to send me your email so I can send you a complete guide to becoming a commercial pilot. its eBook and completely free of charge.

HI please I would also like to have a copy of the ebook, my email is bilardosinulu@gmail.com

if you quest for practical knowledge in that field, go for HND. i know you fear discrimination as the case may be but not all holders of HND are being discriminated against.

Exactly, I am scared of the discrimination.

Your question has another silent question.... Which is NOUN degree recognised?.. Am sure, you will not ask this question if it is unilag Bsc vs yabatech HND....

Noun degree has the same value with any accredited Nigeria uni.....the difference is only in the mode of instruction.......you can use noun degree to apply for master in unilag if you so wish.....do not waste your time bro....

Bsc stand out above HND any day, ,any time....

Thanks so much for your advice. I have started the program at NOUN and developing myself on Python programming. I believe the future would be bright.

Education / I Need Advice Please, should I Go For Hnd Or Continue With Noun by bilard(m): 7:54am On Feb 23, 2017
Dear Nairalanders and Educationist, please I need advice, as am at a crossroad now. I recently completed my National Diploma in Computer Engineering at Yaba College Of Technology and am currently doing my IT, while I was at YCT due to their strike I enrolled at the National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN)studying Computer Science(300L). Due to the fact that NOUN doesn't go for NYSC which most organizations require, and also the high discrimination rate of HND. Am confused if I should go back for HND or I should continue with NOUN or I should try getting admission into any other University. Please I need advice.
