The AC is chilling oh but just only the 2 air vents on the passenger side while the vents on the driver's side were not.

Your AC is low on gas.

I suggested that initially but was told by the AC technicians that the vehicle doesn't have air filters.

Good day everyone. My vehicle (Peugeot 406) have some AC issues. When the AC is on, only the air vents on the passenger side will be chilling while the 2 air vents on the driver's side are not.

Please I need help with the MTN internet connection in my phone Umidigi A5 pro and my wife's A7s. We can't browse or do anything whenever we switch on the data as there is always "no internet" despite the fact that we have 10gb data on my MTN. However, if I insert my MTN Sim in my wife's other phone, it connects & browses with speed of light. My airtel line also browses very well on my A5PRO.

HOW do I solve this MTN data connectivity & browsing issues?

The only con I have noticed (and this depends on the individual) is the front sits which are a bit hard and can cause slight pain on the lower back for some people while driving for long hours.

Asides the above, the car is very good.

Cleared codes, drove around and rescan Ed and only one fault code was showing -

Engine ECU - Permanent fault. Mixture regulation.

I've been battling with excessive fuel consumption on my Peugeot 406 EW10 for a while. I recently changed the oxygen sensor based on the advice of my Mech but the problem persisted. Whenever the Ac is on, the excessive fuel consumption becomes worse.
So, I scanned the car. The result is attached. Please, kindly assist me in interpreting the result.

If it does not work replace MFD.

The meeting between the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities deadlocked again on Wednesday, following the disagreement over the payment platform that would be used in disbursing the salary arrears and the N30 billion Earned Allowance of the university lecturers.

The FG team led by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, had offered to pay the salary arrears and the N30 billion Earned Allowances of the university lecturers through the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System platform pending the roll-out of ASUU’s preferred platform, the University Transparency and Accountability Solution.


But the ASUU delegation led by its National President, Prof Biodun Ogunyemi, reportedly insisted that the university lect would not enrol on the government salary platform.

The spokesman, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Mr Charles Akpan, explained that the meeting adjourned till Monday to enable the union leaders to get across to their members on the mode of payment.

The parley is expected to reconvene on Monday to decide on the platform for the disbursement of the funds pledged by the FG.

Among other things, the government had agreed to pay N40 billion, being the pending Earned Academic Allowance of the university teachers overdue since November 2019.
Out of the amount, N30 billion would be paid on or before November 6, while the remaining N10 billion would be spread equally over two tranches to be paid in May 2021 and February 2022.

The two parties equally agreed to the planned release of N30 billion for the revitalisation of the education sector.

The government offered to pay N20 billion as funding for the revitalization of public universities, by January 2021, as well as, seek sources of alternative and additional funding for the university system, among other conclusions.

As much as possible I try to avoid any hyundai vehicle from 12 upwards, the engines are fragile and extremely expensive to replace.

look at honda Civic, Nissan Sentra, toyota Yaris

Please your advice is highly and urgently needed. I want to go for either Nigerian used Kia Cerrato or Hyundai Elentra (2012 and upwards) as Toyota corolla is unnecessarily expensive. Please how reliable, rugged and fuel economical are these cars? Also, are they cheap to maintain and their parts readily available?

Please experienced guys and gurus should assist me. This will be my first ride.

Can you up your budget to 1.95? You would get this 07 corolla for that. Personally for me except a naija used car is in pristine condition or pre certified would I spend 1.5m on it. I would rather save up or cut a deal for a toks.

Yaris is quite small and also expensive, but not as expensive as matrix

Camry is cheaper to maintain but fuel economy not as good as Corolla was my first option. Guess, I have to stick with it

The initial cost of a good corolla is higher than your budget. It's very cheap to maintain, so many mechanics, great fuel economy.


If you see a Corolla at that price, grab the deal, else you can settle for a Camry big Daddy
