One begins to wonder whether these people are not just after their own pockets. Some of these pastors don't fear God again honestly. Why on earth should this pastor go to far away Dubai to display such wealth. The same thing we are condemning our politicians for. Who indeed is innocent? |

How many poor people attend his church? Is this man trying to tell me that everyone of school age in his church are in school? For christ sake this people should stop deceiving their followers and in turn defraud them. Christ had the opportunity to defraud the whole world but he never did so if this so call men of God are coming to us in the name of christ, then they must learn to be like christ. Please whoever knows who knows the pastor should contact me, let me talk to him. Mike modurck sitting with him should be able to tell him the truth. Mike Mudock and Abiodun of Coza should be birds of the same feather. |

tafrica: The true test of integrity is not in haunting down your opponents or enemies, but in standing against it when your allies err. Buhari is shielding Amaechi, Fayemi, Fashola etc from various petitions written against them, even if they are innocent, let EFCC act on the petitions against them and prove their innocence.
Buhari removed and replaced new head of civil service and various PMs with his own allies, yet they produced the #BudgetOfYams, after earlier branding it as Budget of Change. Now when the condemnation was viral and the frauds in the budget were exposed, they are blaming 'budget mafia'. Who're the mafia? Buhari's appointed Permanent Secretaries?

alcmene: Ex-president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has advised President Muhammadu Buhari to start his anti-corruption fight with himself, the vice president, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, before extending same to other Nigerians.
The former President who described corruption as a ‘hydra-headed monster’ that must not be allowed to live, said the fight against the monster must begin from the top.
He was a special guest at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, Osun State, on Friday, during the institution’s Staff Club’s interactive programme tagged, “Seventh Roundtable with Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, Reflections of an Elder Statesman.”
Obasanjo, responding to a question from a student on his view about the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, however, said the president had left no one in doubt that he was willing to battle corruption.
“The president promised he will fight corruption. And there is no doubt that he has shown that he is willing to fight corruption. Corruption is a hydra-headed monster.
“I believe very much that fighting corruption just has to start from the top. That is, from the president, the vice president, the senate president, the speaker of the House, the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).”
As the former President mentioned the Chief Justice of the Nation, one of the participants, who was later joined by others, asked him to include himself and other former presidents in the list of those to be tried for graft.
In his reaction, he said: “Did I hear somebody say and you? Oh, you mean and former presidents? Former presidents have either done their bit when they were in office or they did not.
“The instruments we are using today (to fight corruption) were all fashioned out by me when I was in office. We did not have anything like the instruments (ICPC, EFCC) before. Not only did I bring up these instruments, I also looked for the right people who could make the instruments work.
“Nuhu Ribadu was in charge of the EFCC and then, the fear of Ribadu was the beginning of wisdom. For ICPC, I specially head-hunted somebody like Justice Mustapha Akanbi to run it,” he said.
Commenting on Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, Obasanjo said, “Soyinka is slippery and he is no man to be trusted. I will trust Wole Soyinka as an “aparo hunter” (partridge hunter) than trusting him as a political analyst. I have no issues with him.”
When asked to explain why he refused to release some money for the National Assembly when he was the president of the country, he stated that “you don’t know so many things that transpired during my administration. So many things were not resolved, so don’t attack my intelligence and personality.”

NEHLIVE: Lesbian Kafayat Adegoke Blasted For Tricking Man Into Getting Her Pregnant
30 year old Lesbian, Kafayat Adegoke who tricked a man into getting her pregnant because she didn't want to use a surrogate and couldn't afford IVF but desperately wanted a child, has been criticized by critics who think she is being selfish by excluding the baby's Dad from its life.
Matt O’Connor, founder of Fathers For Justice says a child needs a mother AND a father in their life. He said: And it is a fundamental human right that a child has access to their father. It is sad that anyone wants to bring a baby into the world in the knowledge that they are denying them access to half of their family. It isn’t just the dad who loses out but also the paternal grandmother and grandfather. Unfortunately, women are stopping fathers becoming involved in children’s lives more and more with devastating consequences. We would support this man in taking legal action to gain access to his child.
Anne Diamond, a new agony aunt said: Kafayat is showing she’s little more than a child herself. She thinks having a baby is all about her. It’s not, it is always about the child who will grow up questioning why he or she hasn’t got a daddy. It’s one thing to grow up fatherless because he couldn’t, or didn’t want to be around. Quite another to discover your mother deliberately deprived you of a dad. On top of that, it’s miserably unfair to the unsuspecting men. Stop it, Kafayat. Grow up before your selfishness deprives your child of a decent mother too.
Emma Kenny, a psychologist, therapist and lecturer says Kafayat is a manipulator that has no right to deny her baby a relationship with its father She said: She has completely taken advantage of this man. When a child is brought into this world both a mother and father are of equal importance. She has tricked him and manipulated him into answering questions to find out his suitability for a process he didn’t even know he was involved in. Then to actually wish to exclude him, basically branding him worthless, displays a certain degree of narcissism. She is denying the importance of men, revealing a warped sense of her own self worth. Not the best quality for a mother, it suggests she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get what she wants. Children like to have a relationship with their father. In denying him a part in the child’s future, she’s making a decision for a child who has a right to know who their father is. She doesn’t have the right to remove this opportunity.
They are also trying to contact the man who got Kafayat pregnant with the an address..

Christianity Etc › Re: 5 Things To Avoid When Evangelizing/sharing The Gospel by Billygee2u: 6:31pm On Feb 07, 2016 |
iliyande: There are great ways to share the love of Christ, but there are also some practices that we as messengers of God should follow. Here are five of the most commonly committed mistakes in sharing the Gospel that we should avoid.
1. Don't call them "unsaved."
The Gospel may come across as offensive to non-Christians because it tells people just how sinful they are and how they need a Savior because they cannot redeem themselves. The last thing an evangelist wants to do is offend a person some more by calling them "unsaved". It's true that the person is "lost," but one doesn't have to hear it from you.
2. Don't try to change them
Although God has called us to participate in the work of bringing the Gospel to the ends of the earth, it was never assigned to us to bring change to the person's life. Only God can do that. After leading a person to God, the last thing they want to hear is a list of "Dos and Don'ts." It's important however that they know what is right or wrong, so in order to teach them God's laws encourage a convert instead to read the Bible and find out for themselves.
3. Don't scare them
It's common for Christians to try to convert loved ones by "scaring them out of hell." This is not how the Gospel works. Instead, the Gospel is a story of the love of God that drove out the fear and consequence that comes from sin.
4. Don't neglect their ideas
At first, recent converts will have a lot of ideas, and a lot of them will be theologically wrong. It's important to listen to them and hear their side. Instead of debunking their thoughts, it's best to try asking them why they believe in such instead. We can provoke people into godliness, but we can never force them into it through shooting down ideas.
5. Don't debate with them
Lastly, it's important that encounters with those who are hungry for the Gospel should not turn into debates. When an atheist or non-Christian does not believe at first, respect their decision and accept they're rejection of the message of Christ. Again, it is not up to you to change the person. Instead of debating with a person, offer to pray for him or her instead or pray for him or her on your own time if they refuse. |
Christianity Etc › Re: What Does The Bible Say About Tattoos / Body Piercings? by Billygee2u: 5:51pm On Feb 07, 2016 |
turboG: What does the Bible say about tattoos / body piercings?
The Old Testament law commanded the Israelite’s, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD” (Leviticus 19:28). So, even though believers today are not under the Old Testament law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:23–25; Ephesians 2:15), the fact that there was a command against tattoos should raise some questions. The New Testament does not say anything about whether or not a believer should get a tattoo.
We do have this command in 1 Peter 3:3–4: “Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” Granted, this passage is directed at Christian women, but there is a principle here that may be apropos: namely, a person’s external appearance should not be the focus of our attention. Much effort goes into “elaborate hairstyles” and “fine clothes” and jewelry, but that’s not where a woman’s true beauty lies. In the same way, tattoos and body piercings are “outward adornment,” and we should be careful to give more effort to the development of the “inner self,” regardless of our gender.
In relation to tattoos and body piercings, a good test is to determine whether we can honestly, in good conscience, ask God to bless and use that particular activity for His own good purposes. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31). The New Testament does not specifically command against tattoos or body piercings, but it also does not give us any reason to believe God would have us get tattoos or body piercings.
An important scriptural principle on issues the Bible does not specifically address is if there is room for doubt whether it pleases God, then it is best not to engage in that activity. Romans 14:23 reminds us that anything that does not come from faith is sin. We need to remember that our bodies, as well as our souls, have been redeemed and belong to God. Although 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 does not directly apply to tattoos or body piercings, it does give us a principle: “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” This great truth should have a real bearing on what we do and where we go with our bodies. If our bodies belong to God, we should make sure we have His clear “permission” before we “mark them up” with tattoos or body piercings.
