Few hours after wedding, Newly wedded Bride slam murder charge on groom
https://mrrightsng..com.ng/2018/02/few-hours-after-wedding-newly-wedded.html

Mr Right has gathered that less than 24 hours after getting married, a yet to be named bride rushed to court in her wedding attire to file a murder case against her spouse. The newly wedded bride filed a case of dowry and attempted murder against her husband Mr. Baibhav Anand, minutes after their wedding had been solemnized in Bihar, India.

On Saturday, 10th February 2018 In Rajendra Nagar locality in Patna, the capital of Bihar in India, the groom, Baibhav Anand, a manager with a private airlines company in Delhi, was arrested after the complaint of his wife gulfnew reports.

According to gulfnew, the couple met in 2012 on the social networking site Orkut. Although, the social network site has since shotdown, notwithstanding, the romance between the couple blossomed.

When the duo’s families found out about the relationship, they helped them solemnize their relationship. On Friday night, they got married at a local hall in the presence of guests, friends and families. However, On Saturday, when the bride and groom were set to ride to her in-laws’ home, witnesses said, their car had gone barely 150 metres when the ornately dressed bride jumped out of the car and started running towards the marriage hall, crying, “Save me, save me.”

The scene of a gussied up bride running on the road seeking help drew a large crowd. She was then taken to the local Kadamkuan police station by her family members, and a case was registered against her husband Gulfnews said.
In her complaint, she charged the groom with passing casteist remarks, seeking dowry and attempting to kill her.Eventually, the groom was arrested and sent to jail.

In the response by the police, “We have arrested the groom and are sending him to jail on the basis of the complaint registered by the bride,” a local police official, Ajay Kumar, told media on Sunday. The police are investigating the case but said they have not come across such an incident in the past.

A single call can save lives
By Mr Right

I was angry with a colleague whom we had started a struggle together and he abandoned it half way. He didn’t show up to follow up with the struggle, neither did he call to inquire about it progress. This went on for some time until this week.

For some reasons, I just felt the need to call him, not to check on him per se, but to chastise him for the manner at which he had abandoned the whole thing we started together.

But unfortunately, what I met was beyond me.

I placed a call to him and when he picked up, he asked for the identity of the caller. This got me a little infuriated, so i responded angrily with my name, hoping to follow up with a critical rant, but before I utter another word, he had fired like five, ranting about his life. He sounded frustrated and depressed, more like someone tired of this life.

He began to talk about how he has forgotten if anyone like me ever existed. He said he never even remember he knew anyone like me because the issues he his dealing with had so consumed him. He narrated some of the issues and opined that he seems to be the worst person in the world.

I listened to him diligently as he thanked me repeatedly for finding time to check on him. I couldn’t tell him I didn’t call to check on him, but to chastise him. I decided to engage him about life and the many issues affecting everyone, but not forgetting to point out the several opportunities waiting for us to tap them.

It was after I had consoled him and gave him hope that he felt better and began to ask me about our joint struggle. I told him what I could and encourage him to expect better things soon.

It down on me that, no matter how angry we are with people, we should not be too angry to abandon them. No matter our terrible own situations are, let’s always try to reach out to our friends and families, if not to assist them solve their problems, but to give them a listening hear and comforting words.

Sometimes, a single call can give hope, yes; a single call can save lives.

I therefore use this opportunity to encourage us all to reach out to our people. Don’t assume they are doing well, just reach out. Don’t even assume you can’t help their situation, just reach reach out.

Difference between Jose Morinho and Arsen Wenger explained
https://mrrightsng..com.ng/2018/02/difference-between-jose-morinho-and.html

Manchester Evening News, an online news platform promoting Manchester United football club has explained the major difference between Manchester United manager, Jose Morinho and the manager of Arsenal Fc, Arsen Wenger using the recently concluded transfer of Alex Sanchez and Henrikh Mkhitaryan as case study.

Hear them:

Arsene Wenger is friendlier than Jose Mourinho .

That revelation from the recently departed Henrikh Mkhitaryan is one that Manchester United fans - and indeed most football fans - won't have needed.

But it is a neat reminder not just of the difference between the mentality of the two managers, but of the different standards and ambitions being demanded at the two clubs themselves.

Mourinho is a winner. He is building a team of winners. It is one of the reasons why he pursued Alexis Sanchez this January, and why he was willing to let Mkhitaryan go to get the deal done.

The Armenian said: "Mourinho required a lot from the players. A lot, he was very hard. Arsene Wenger is friendlier, he understands, can think about players' situations, is calmer."

Mourinho's demands have dragged United back onto an upward trajectory. He won two trophies last season and returned United to the Champions League.

Mkhitaryan's comments are the latest evidence that his hard demands for top level consistency are not how every footballer likes to work.

But there is evidence from multiple clubs and countries that they do deliver titles at the highest tier of the game.

Wenger has delivered the FA Cup three times in the last four years but his last Premier League triumph came in 2004 and he has not seriously challenged for another in more than a decade.

Arsenal's best players have increasingly searched for medals elsewhere.

Sanchez is merely the latest example.

He has spoken again this weekend about his motivations for moving to Old Trafford. His answer is littered with the word winning.

And it stands in stark contrast to Mkhitaryan's desire for friendliness and understanding.

Mourinho's treatment of his players has been criticised in many quarters, but the reasons behind them are listed in bold print on his CV. It's why he was given the United job after his two predecessors failed so miserably.

At his press conference ahead of Newcastle, Mourinho gave one of his longest-ever answers in defending Paul Pogba after the re-opening of the debate about his best position. But it was Mourinho who benched his £89m man against Huddersfield last week after one poor performance against Spurs when the vast majority of his teammates didn't turn up.

Hard demands.

Luke Shaw's United career looked over as recently as last November. The quote about 'his body, my brain' looked to be the defining moment of the pair's relationship.

But the defender is now set to be offered a new long-term contract, after overcoming injury and impressing coaches anew with improved attitude and application on the training ground.

He has proved he can thrive under Mourinho's tutelage.

Mkhitaryan's inconsistency throughout his 18 months at United meant he was always in danger of falling by the wayside, unable to keep pace with Mourinho on the path to delivering a first Premier League trophy to United since Sir Alex Ferguson.

For that is Mourinho's aim.

Wenger's aim looks to be achieving a top four finish. Again.

But he is calm and understanding.

Facebook introduce jail option
https://mrrightsng..com.ng/2018/02/facebook-introduce-jail-option.html

In a move to empower group administrators on the Facebook social media platform to descipline violators of group rules and regulations, facebook has introduced a mute option to jail offenders for specific period. By jail, it means that the person’s freedom on the group will be curtailed within the specific duration of their being muted by the administrator.
This feature is considered better because before now, the only available option is for the admin to remove or block members who violate the rules of the group. However, with the option of mute, such violator can be muted or jailed for specific duration as warning.
Besides the mute option on groups, facebook had also introduced snoze option for individual profiles and pages. Facebook has given you an option to mute selected persons or communities for a brief period. With this option, users can assert control over what content they wish to see in their news feed. When the Snooze period is about to end, users will be duly notified of the same, so that the user can decide whether to end the snooze period or not. Facebook also stated that the option can be reversed at any time.

Who should we trust?
https://mrrightsng..com.ng/2018/02/who-should-we-trust.html

There are indeed some things that cannot be bought with money because of their spiritual value. Trust is one of such. Unfortunately, betrayal of trust counts as one of the most heinous crimes that can be committed in inter-personal human relationships- Abd-Ru-Shin.

Some time last year, I read a story about a young man who resides in Europe and made it a duty to regularly send money home to his family. Apart from the usual money for upkeep and family life he regularly send, he had also been sending money to his parents to build a decent house for him. For more than 5 years, the young man never came to the country, until he came home last year, only to discover that his parents hadn’t built the house they told him they had built. The man was so angry that he took his parents to the police and got them locked up. When he eventually got them freed, he promised never to come back to the country again.

Similarly, a U.S based victim recently told me of how she entrusted her Nigerian business in the hand of a trusted family friend. The friend was said to have cartered away with millions of naira without minding their over 30 year’s relationship, starting from their primary school days. This experience of hers in the hand of a family friend makes her extremely skeptical when dealing with others.
And with stories like this, one would begin to wonder, do we now live in a society where we can no longer trust our friends and families to do the right thing when we are not there?
If this is the case, who else should we trust?

Despicable betrayal of friendship and family trust
By Abdulrazaq O Hamzat

There are indeed some things that cannot be bought with money because of their spiritual value. Trust is one of such. Unfortunately, betrayal of trust counts as one of the most heinous crimes that can be committed in inter-personal human relationships- Abd-Ru-Shin

Betrayal is the sense of being harmed by the intentional actions or omissions of a trusted person. The opposite of betrayal is trust. In the word of Steve Stosny, human beings need to trust. Trust allays anxiety, helps lift depression, and makes it possible to consistently invest interest and enjoyment in one another. In contrast, distrust is fraught with anxiety and resentment. No loneliness is lonelier than distrust.

Distrust make people isolate themselves from others, they suspect everyone they encounter. Most times, they go lonely because they are scared to trust again, hoping that their seclusion from people will shield them from being hurt again. Unfortunately, seclusion doesn’t bring about peace of mind; it brings loneliness and further distress.
‘’I understand it hurts, and it hurts really badly. No one deserves to be treated the way you were. No one deserves to feel emotional pain tearing through their body or bringing them to their knees as a result of betrayal. You did nothing to deserve this and it is not your fault’’.

The above message was crafted by Kristen Brown while explaining how to console a betrayed person and I strongly agree with her, nobody deserves to be betrayed.

Friendship and family relation should not be exploited; it should actually be appreciated, nourished and cherished. When a friend or family entrust something in your care, do not betray that friendship or family trust. The psychological damage such despicable occurrence does to the victim stay with them for a very long time. Betrayal hurts so much because enemies do not betray, they are not in the position to do so, only trusted friends and family do.

Nigeria is an extremely religious society, but with very little Godliness. We take pride in culture and tradition, but with less concern for integrity. This is something that must be properly addressed, should we desire to build a sane and decent society.

When you read the news everyday, so many despicable things are reported and one would begin to wonder if those things are really happening in this great country of ours. Until similar occurrence happen close by or to someone we know, it’s almost impossible to believe some stories.

Some time last year, I read a story about a young man who resides in Europe and made it a duty to regularly send money home. Apart from the usual money for upkeep and family life he regularly send home, he had been sending money to his parents to build a decent house for him. For more than 5 years, the young man never came to the country, until he came home last year, only to discover that his parents hadn’t built the house they told him they had built. The man was so angry that he took his parents to the police and got them locked up. When he eventually got them freed, he promised never to come back to the country again.

Similarly, a U.S based victim recently told me of how she entrusted her Nigerian business in the hand of a family friend. The friend was said to have cartered away with millions without minding their over 30 year’s relationship, starting from their primary school days. This experience of hers in the hand of a family friend makes her extremely skeptical when dealing with others. And with stories like this, one would begin to wonder, do we now live in a society where we can no longer trust our friends and families to do the right thing when we are not there? If this is the case, who else should we trust?

Abd-Ru-Shin, in his book ‘’In the light of truth’’, gave detailed explanation of some life experiences that are relevant to the subject matter in understanding the importance of trust and why it should not be taken with levity, especially by the receiver of it.

He stated that, from who ever and from wherever trust is given, one thing that we must heed very clearly is that it has life. Its form has a living essence. Therefore it must be seen as sacrosanct and inviolable, a value of life that must be protected and jealously guarded.

‘’In human relationship trust is of prime value that must necessarily be exchanged as we must be free at all times of distrust and believe in ourselves, have faith in our words, assume and expect pure and good deeds from others, have empathy for our situations, conditions and circumstances’’. He said.

Abd- Ru-Shin went further to add that, we should bear in mind that when someone reposes trust and confidence in us and we betray such, what we have done is akin to murder. Murder in the sense that something that bears life within has been killed, has been destroyed. In other word, a betrayer is a murderer. Someone who betrays a sacred trust is capable of murder.

However, a betrayed person should not punish every other person with the crime of their betrayers. Everyone should be treated fairly and justly. The ability to give trust reflects the absence of distrust in a human being. It reflects purity, love and a noble disposition.

For me, I have since developed a principle to life in my relationship with others. And the principle is very simple, when you speak do not lie, when you promise, do not break it, and when you are entrusted with something, do not betray. This is the only way to personal and inter personal peace.

IBB DEBUNKS STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT BUHARI

My attention has been drawn to a report making rounds especially online in which I was quoted as advising Nigerians not to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari in the coming 2019 election.

Not only is the said statement untrue, it is in its entirety, an inaccurate representation of my view of the state of our dear Nation.

As a former President and an elder statesman, I have existing communication channels through which I reach out to President Muhammadu Buhari on topical issues of national importance, should there be the need so to do.

The media, both online or mainstream and indeed the unsuspecting public are advised to disregard such false reports.

Thank you and God Bless you all.
