what is a slender in the above post reported by a site and posted on this site by me? what is the propaganda in sharing what a news site reported just like every other post? I am not from Oyo,neither am i from ekiti,so why the hate? My intent of making this post and some others i have done in recent time is to actually show to all that both people deceiving people, pdp and the alternative corrupt nonetities, acn are nothing but partner in criminality to destroy and milk the nation dry. I have heard enough sermon of fake progressive,i can no longer sit and listen to trash in silence. Every news is a lie, until proven to be true, that explains why many politicians still walk on the street freely even after many news of their corrupt practices, this one is not an exception, however, the truth still remain that,in every news report,c heck the truth, its in it. And to all the ACN puppets attacking at every chance, its day break......Never again would anyone be intimidated by your rant and attacks, never again would you speak when we talk about progressive. keep quit and hide your face in shame... |

The re-election of Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State has not only swept the Action Congress of Nigeria away from the state, it represents a milestone in the tussle for the leadership of the Yoruba, writes ALLWELL OKPI The victory of Governor Olusegun Mimiko of the Labour Party at the October 20, governorship election in Ondo State will be remembered for a long time. Not only did Mimiko break the jinx by becoming the first governor to be re-elected in the state, he also put an end to the ambition of the Action Congress of Nigeria to control all the six states of the South-West geopolitical zone. Despite ACN's campaign, which was largely hinged on getting Ondo under one political umbrella with other Yoruba states, to kick-start the integration of the South-West region, the LP retained the state, which is the only state under its control. Events leading to the election showed clearly that the overriding interest in the poll spanned beyond the ambitions of the candidates and the need for good governance. There was no doubt that the Ondo poll was a major factor in the determination of who becomes the political Yoruba leader, in the manner that late Chief Obafemi Awolowo was. Since the demise of the foremost leaders of Afenifere such as Chief Abraham Adesanya and Chief Bola Ige, the group, which represents the leadership of the Yoruba race, has failed to reconcile its two factions. After the death of Adesanya in 2008, Afenifere was factionalised. Senator Ayo Fasanmi, who deputised for Adesanya after Ige's death led one group, while Chief Reuben Fasoranti, who reportedly said Adesanya asked him to hold the fort while alive, commanded the other. Fasoranti had the backing of Afenifere elders while Fasanmi had the backing of Bola Tinubu, who is the national leader of the Action Congress of Nigeria. Though the matter was later resolved in favour of Fasoranti, Afenifere still remained fragmented. The tussle also extended to the control of the Alliance for Democracy, a political party that was formed by Afenifere, which won all the six states in the South-West during the 1999 general election. It would be recalled that the AD lost five of the states to the Peoples Democratic Party when it went into alliance with former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Only Tinubu, who was the governor of Lagos State survived the onslaught and got re-elected in 2003 on the platform of the AD. Consequently, Tinubu's camp won the tussle for the AD, while Afenifere elders formed another party - Progressive Action Congress and later the Democratic People Alliance. Shortly before the 2007 general election, Tinubu led the AD into an alliance with some other political parties to form the Action Congress, which later became the Action Congress of Nigeria. They recovered all the South-West states except Ondo. Hence, October 20, was ACN's chance to replicate the 2011 poll feat, and establish itself as the party in charge of the South-West. Analysts believe that winning Ondo State would have meant victory for Tinubu as the unchallengeable generalissimo of Yoruba. But that was not to be. In his analysis, the Head of the Department of Political Science and International Relations, University of Lagos, Prof. Solomon Akinboye, said winning Ondo State would have made Tinubu the political leader of the South-West. 'I think I agree with people who say Tinubu would have been the political leader of the South-West. ACN winning Ondo would have meant that all the governors in the Yoruba states would be loyal to Tinubu.' According to Akinboye, the ACN failed to capture Ondo for a combination of factors, which included Mimiko's performance in his first term, the Afenifere endorsement and the internal crisis that trailed the emergence of Rotimi Akeredolu as the candidate for the party. 'The performance of Mimiko was the major point for his re-election. A lot of people said he had performed creditably and delivered on his promises. So it is not surprising that a lot of people voted for him. 'The second factor is the endorsement Mimiko got from the Afenifere. The fact is that the Afenifere is a formidable factor and actor in the Yoruba political space. So, with the endorsement of Afenifere leaders, who are highly influential, some people were influenced to vote for Mimiko,' he said. He added that the exit of Dr. Olu Agunloye, who was tipped to be the ACN candidate, before Akeredolu was chosen by the national leadership of the party, contributed to the inability of the 'broom revolution' to sweep through Ondo State. 'For someone who has been nursing the ambition to be governor and has been influential in Ondo politics, Agunloye felt short-changed after Akeredolu was chosen at his expense. That's why he left and his followers left with him. Considering the fact that he commanded some level of influence, I think that must have also counted against the ACN,' Akinboye said. It would be recalled that Agunloye defected from ACN to LP because of what he called lack of internal democracy in the ACN in picking its candidate for the election. The convener and national leader of the National Patriotic Movement, Senator Femi Okurounmu told SUNDAY PUNCH that Mimiko's victory showed that the whole Yoruba nation could not be bought over with money. He said by halting the agenda of the ACN to dominate the entire South-West, the Ondo people represented the true qualities of true Yoruba. Okurounmu said, 'If ACN had won in Ondo, it would have meant that the whole Yoruba nation can be bought with money. The Ondo people acted true to type. They showed that Yoruba people may be deceived for a while, but not forever. Mimiko represented the integrity and character of the Yoruba people by not collecting money and becoming a stooge. 'Sooner or later, Yoruba people would choose their leader and it would be someone whose character, antecedent and legacy we can be proud of. Someone who possesses the Omoluabi attributes.' The founder of the Oodua Peoples Congress, Frederick Fasheun, also said the people of Ondo were too democratically-minded to be forced into accepting a party just because it holds sway in other South-West states. Faseun said, 'If you look at names like Gani Fawehinmi, Reuben Fasoranti, Olu Falae, and many others who fought for democracy, who are from Ondo State, then you would realise that the other name for Ondo people is democracy. 'The fact that the ACN was successful in capturing the other states in the South-West does not mean that all Yoruba people would bow to the ACN. 'The leadership of the ACN is not the same thing as the leadership of South-West or the Yoruba nation. Even if ACN had won Ondo State, it could not have made the leaders of the party Yoruba leaders. Afenifere is the political arrowhead of the Yoruba nation.' On the relevance of Afenifere's endorsement of Mimiko, Fasheun said the pan-Yoruba socio-cultural group, is non-partisan but only supports good governance in the zone. He added that the result of the election not only reflected the wishes of the Ondo people but also proved the political relevance of the Afenifere leaders who supported Mimiko. 'I think the result of the election has proved that those who raised Mimiko's hand are highly politically erudite and relevant. The end has justified the means,' Fasheun said. However, whether or not Afenifere's endorsement contributed significantly to Mimiko's victory cannot be easily discerned. But in an attempt to portray their relevance in the victory of Mimiko at the election, Afenifere leaders advised Mimiko's opponents at the election to accept defeat. Just a day after the election, Fasoranti, advised governorship candidates who lost out in the election to accept their defeat as sportsmen. The elder statesman said Mimiko's victory represented the wishes of the people of Ondo, adding, that the election was free, fair, peaceful, and that those who lost the election had no reason to complain. http://www.thenigerianvoice.com/nvnews/100747/1/mimikos-victory-and-future-of-yoruba-politics.html |

London Metropolitan Police has confirmed the arrest of Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, wife of Oyo state Governor, over money laundering.Ajimobi’s Wife in London Police Net for Laundering N500m …..Oyo gov stands surety for wife ….Wole Olanipekun, 2 other SANs engaged Posted on October 29, 2012 by NewsAXE By Segun Ayedaade, Lagos Junketing wife of the Oyo State governor, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi, has finally jumped into the net of London police authorities. Her offence: she was found in possession of Pound Sterling and United States Dollars totalling N500million about two weeks ago. Mrs Ajimobi was arrested by the Met Police during her 52nd trip outside Nigeria in the last 17 months that her husband became the chief executive of the Pace-Setter state. The development came barely a few months after Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State was arrested also in London on money laundering charges and was held for about 26 days in the United Kingdom. Governor Abiola Ajimobi has equally been out of the country for about 42 times on personal and official trips that have cost the people of the state fortunes in estacode and denied them the opportunity of a responsible government during times of sorrow, like the August 26, 2011 flood disaster that ravaged the state. The governor’s wife was held for a few days in London before she telephoned her husband who immediately flew out to the United Kingdom to save his wife and his administration from the embarrassment that the arrest could cause. NEWSLEAK gathered that the governor had to stand surety for his wife before she was temporarily released the weekend on her arrest. To ensure that the news does not get to public domain, Governor Ajimobi had to lie that he was travelling to Taiwan for “an emergency business trip”, and headed for London to stand surety for his wife. Met police authorities accept the surety-ship of a sitting high profile government official in cases of money laundering without which Mrs Ajimobi would have been declared wanted and Interpol sent after her. When Mrs Ajimobi returned to Nigeria two Sundays ago, she avoided public gathering, never honoured any invitation and cancelled all previous appointments. A community newspaper in London published the news of Mrs Ajimobi’s arrest with her picture lavishly used by the local daily. NEWSLEAK is making effort to get the photograph and use same on this website. According to investigations, Mrs Ajimobi is literally the human bank in charge of funds illegally deducted from the 33 local government councils in the state as well as the N110million security monthly security vote of her husband. Rumours that Mrs Ajimobi is the courier for public funds running into billions of Naira allegedly stolen so far by the Action Congress of Nigeria-led government in the last 17months were reinforced by the several contracts awarded to Mrs Ajimobi, including the poorly executed beautification project given to her for N1billion of taxpayers’ money. In addition, she has appropriated the State Action Committee on AIDS (SACA), which was hitherto under the purview of the Ministry of Health to her office and through this, she is sitting upon the $15million-Dollar World Bank funds released early this year for the control of AIDS in the state. To wriggle out of money laundering and sundry charges against Mrs Ajimobi, her husband has engaged the service of three Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) led by Chief Wole Olanipekun. Following the expiration of the week-long bail granted Mrs Ajimobi to prepare her legal team as the case will be charged t court soon, she left the country for London early on Sunday, October 28 (that is yesterday). Governor Ajimobi, it was scoped, has been running from pillar to post for face-saving strategies against the damning incident. He was said to have expressed determination to pay any price quoted by anyone that could be of help in preventing the scandal from becoming public knowledge as well as getting the “greedy wife” off the hook. The governor, NEWSLEAK is told, will be travelling out of the country this week to stand by her wife. It was also gathered that the senior lawyers are on their way out of the country for the legal fireworks in defence of Mrs Ajimobi. http://newsleak-ng.com/?p=23 http://dailypost.com.ng/2012/10/30/london-metropoloitan-police-confirms-arrest-governor-ajimobis-wife/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=london-metropoloitan-police-confirms-arrest-governor-ajimobis-wife http://pmnewsnigeria.com/2012/10/30/anxiety-over-florence-ajimobis-alleged-arrest-in-uk/ |

AKEREDOLU MUST APOLOGISE TO EMINENT YORUBA LEADERS- Kayode Ajulo “Character is the most important possession you have.” -African proverb The much discussed and awaited Ondo State Gubernatorial Election has come and gone with the declaration of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko as the winner of the election which literary translated to another four years of Mimiko as Governor of Ondo State. During the build up to the election, as expected, every participating political parties and their stalwart were in frenzies to outdo each others, these should be expected but what was worrisome however, was the introduction of gutter politics to the race and the utterances of the Action Congress of Nigeria against very reputable elder statesmen of the Yoruba nation, namely Chief Olu Falae, former federal permanent secretary, estwhile finance minister, managing director Nal Merchant Bank, Secretary to the Government of the Federation and presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD)/All Progressive Peoples (APP) Alliance (1999); Pa Reuben Fashoranti, veteran old school principal, elder stateman, former commissioner, leader of the respected Afenifere and pan-Yoruba nationalist; Chief Ayo Adebanjo, elderstateman, very senior lawyer, trusted ally of the late Chief Obafemi Awolowo, and a prominent counsel in Obafemi Awolowo’s treasonable felony trial of 1962, for exercising their rights by supporting Olusegun Mimiko’s ambition to seek re-election as governor of Ondo State on the platform of the Labour Party (LP). It is also of note that the above instances were made possible by the canditure of Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN on the platform of ACN that brought ordinary and eminent thugs and rascals to Ondo state to insult the sensitivity of the people, while the people responded with their votes, one would have take a relaxed seat and forget about the scenario but for the recent atement credited the unrepentant Chief Akeredolu where he turned facts upside down and presented himself more than what he is in a very bad light. Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN is without doubt a respected senior colleague with an enviable title, Senior Advocate of Nigeria and one of those I will without hesitation defer to untill his recent misadventure of partaking in an unholy and undemocratic selection of his goodself as puppet and tool for external aggressors. He nevertheless a gentleman and an omoluabi and haven lost the election in which his party despite all the hulabaloo is relegated to third position, and as expected from a lawyer of his kind, he has vowed to approach the court to upturn the popular verdict of the people of Ondo State. I am not as a lawyer, against the resort to court, I however wish to state that Chief Akeredolu owes the people of Ondo state, first, an unreserved apology on behalf of his party, ACN for the misadventures of his party's leaders. The essence of Omoluabi concept is about exhibition of good character which I know can not be found wanting in Chief Akeredolu, it is therefore necessary that he reinforce this belief after cohabiting with politicians of questionable antedecents. It is therefore imperative that Chief Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN in tandem with our Omoluabi concept, apologise to Chief Olu Falae, Pa Reuben Fashoranti, Chief Ayo Adebanjo and the entire people of Ondo State before taking further political or legal speculation whatsoever. Abo oro lanso fun Omoluwabi...... |
MIMIKO GOT OVER 70% OF THE VOTES IN ONDO ELECTION NOT 44% Dr. Olusegun Mimiko actually won over 70% of the votes in the just concluded Gubernatorial Election in which its candidate Dr. Olusegun Mimiko was returned as the Governor-Elect for... another four years. It should be noted that in the previous elections in Ondo State, the total invalid votes did not surpassed 4, 000 votes. However, in the just concluded Guber election a whooping 30, 000 votes were declared invalid, this was nou unconnected with the fact that a party, PDC logo resembled that of LP, of a man, woman and a child, well known to the local populace in Ondo State. This party, PDC also recorded the highest votes of 21, 000 among the other minority parties, while the relatively known party, NCP founded by the late legal icon Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN did not make any impact. The similarity of the two logos of the parties confused the voters that they thumb printed the two parties which render the vote invalid while some voted for PDC thinking that it is for Mimiko's LP Father, Mother and Child. LP therefore lost a total votes of over 51, 000 votes due to logo pass-off caused by INEC. Adding the votes lost put LP in the lead with 72% of the votes. According to the Legal adviser,A letter of protest will be forwarded to INEC in this regards.

A thought provoking letter from an Acn sympathizer OPEN LETTER TO JAGABAN OF BORGU-BAYO ADEYINKA My dear Asiwaju, I must first apologize for using this open medium to reach you. I had no choice especially as I know that it may be difficult to reach you personally at Bourdillon. I only have to hold on to a thread of hope, believing strongly that this piece will come to your attention, maybe from one of the numerous ACN online activists. Recent even...ts in Ondo State in particular and the SouthWest in general have triggered off this letter. Before I continue, I also wish to engage in full disclosure. I am an ACN sympathizer. I voted for ACN at all times except for the Presidency when my vote went to Buhari. I still believe that ACN remains the most virile platform to provide our people with superior service. I can therefore humbly state that this message is borne out of patriotic zeal and is also in recognition of your noble efforts to establish the footholds of the party all over Nigeria. Now to the crux of the matter. It is pertinent that there should be a holistic review of the recent elections in Ondo State and why ACN turned up so badly that it came third- after LP and even PDP. It has never been this bad for our great party. What went wrong? How come ACN couldn't even win in 3 Local Governments out of about 18? How could PDP finished better than ACN? Is it that the populace are beginning to have a re-think? How come the output was so poor in spite of the massive propaganda and rallies attended by our leaders such as your good self, ACN governors, Chief Bisi Akande and others? What will make ACN lose Ikoyi of all places to Obanikoro of PDP?How did ACN get to this sorry pass? Please permit me to share a honest analysis of what I believe you should critically consider if our great party is not to suffer even greater losses in the nearest future-God forbid. Please take note that it takes courage to stand and speak up like I am doing but I also believe it will take courage on your part to also sit down and listen. 1. INTERNAL DEMOCRACY- Sir, there is no internal democracy in ACN. Aketi is certainly a good candidate and most likely the best of the lot. However, the method for choosing him caused rancour and the process was less than transparent. You have been accused severally of 'selective' democracy. You have often handpicked Governors, Senators and House of Rep members. I still remember the ruckus in Ekiti between Babafemi Ojudu, Dele Alake and others. Who knows what happened to Senator Bode Ola, the man who spent just about a year and was not allowed to go back to the Senate? I have heard that you said ACN has a special way of choosing your party reps. With all respect, Sir, ACN cannot continue to operate like a cult in the 21st Century. Even UPN, the Party your ACN is modeled around, had better internal democracy or else Bola Ige would never have contested against Emmanuel Alayande, his erstwhile school principal. Please let there be transparent internal democracy. Let people compete as much as possible so that whoever loses does so in a very clear manner. In retrospect, had the process for picking ACN's candidate been more transparent, it may have been easier to retain people like Olu Agunloye in the party. Maybe the outcome of the election would have been different. But that is now history. 2. REGIONAL INTEGRATION- It is my opinion that we can achieve Regional Integration even if all the states belong to different parties. It is the people, the system and the states that are to be integrated and not the parties. I therefore do not subscribe to the fact that it is only when Ondo State is under ACN that integration can be completed. But more importantly, this much touted regional integration has now become more of a mantra as there is almost nothing to show for it among the existing Governors. Dear Sir, time is going. 3. WHAT IS THE ROLE OF THE NATIONAL LEADER?- Sir, please do not get me wrong. I believe the role of the National Leader is very important but you seem to be all in all in the Party. May I ask, why is there no Board of Trustees? Even PDP in all it's colorless and amorphous system has a BOT. In the Party, no one can challenge you, yet you are called the Opposition Leader in Nigeria. Isn't that a contradiction of sorts? The party seems to be built around you and that is why our detractors call the party Asiwaju Congress of Nigeria. Is it right to build an institution around a single person? Can you always be right? Do you have monopoly of wisdom? Unfortunately, most of your hangers-on will not tell you the truth- some out of fear and cowardice, others out of greed and avarice. I am even surprised that respected men of letters like Sam Omatseye and Professor Adebayo Williams are unable to confront you with the issues under discourse. Rather, I see a lot of praise singers who take out adverts in the papers and praise you in very colorful language to the highest heavens. Please sir, beware. You should be most afraid of people in whose sight you can never do any wrong. 4. THE PERFORMANCE OF ACN GOVERNORS- Sir, I believe the issue of performance of current ACN Governors should be a major agenda to you. There must be a party mechanism for monitoring performance. During the Awolowo era, we were told of how UPN Governors will often come to the party to defend their performance. During that process, many of them were told the home truth. Truth be told, most of the achievements of our current flock of Governors, except for a few, cannot pass the litmus test of superior performance. From the much touted OYES to YES-O, it has been cogent evidence of a flawed thought process. How can that qualify for job creation? When Aketi spoke about 30,000 jobs in 100 days, was he also thinking of this model? It can qualify for some sort of social security but definitely not job creation. Why will Governors advertise freebies such as free train ride during holidays as achievements? How does jogging or walking long distances with civil servants or the populace become of paramount importance that so much media attention is focused on it? I remember we criticized former Governor Akala for distributing Chinese cars but our Governors are distributing Keke Napep! Yes, there are roads being constructed in certain areas and there are some general infrastructural facelifts but the same thing is happening in some other PDP controlled states such as Rivers and Akwa Ibom. So how are ACN Governors different? Some of them have even embarked on meaningless projects. Or how do you explain the setting up of Technical University, Oyo State when existing institutions are not even well funded. Except for Lagos and Edo State Governors, all the rest are under-performers. Truth be told, most of those States don't come near Ondo State in terms of achievements and performance. This is a major issue which demands urgent attention. 5. THE ALIENATION OF CERTAIN SOUTHWEST STAKEHOLDERS- Sir, I read some newspaper reports where either you, Chief Bisi Akande or some other ACN goon spoke derisively of people like Chief Ayo Adebanjo, Chief Olu Falae, late Chief Gani Dawodu and others. It is not part of our culture for elders to throw banters in public. I think you should be magnanimous to draw closer to these Yoruba leading lights as a house divided against itself can never stand. I sometimes wonder what is happening to someone like Jimi Agbaje? There is an uneasy calm in the house of the progressives and our enemies can take advantage of this present state of disorder. Please reach out to aggrieved brothers and let us reach an accord. This is not a sign of weakness. It is a sign of strength. You need to learn how to stoop to conquer, sir. 6. THE YOUTH- Sir, the only way ACN can properly propagate its policies and replicate acceptable standards of engagement is by raising up the youth in the party. How virile is the Youth Wing of the party? I recall that at a time, Bola Ige was the Youth Leader of UPN and see how brilliantly he turned out. Our party is filled with yesterday's men or children of political warlords and godfathers. There must be a special development effort targeted at the youth especially in the mould of the Youth Wing of the African National Congress of South Africa. I am sure you know, Sir, that Nelson Mandela and Jacob Zuma were leaders of the Youth Wing and they earned their rise through the ranks. Please look for brilliant youths and mentor them. Intersperse them among the current crop of leaders. That is the way to ensure that the party lives after you. In conclusion, Your Excellency, Sir, I see danger lurking around the corner by 2015 if the issues above are not addressed in a timely manner. The clouds are gathering and the vultures are circling. I do not claim to possess powers of clairvoyance but I believe all I have highlighted above show the general pulse of the people. You have a golden chance of galvanizing the SouthWest. You have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Please don't throw it away. Thank you for reading my piece and be assured of my loyalty. |
thank you DemDem,looking forward to hear from you. @all,why are you so buttered because i asked a question? a question about a policy of a state once advertised. I wasn't even asking about his performance,i only asked about a policy published..what is wrong in that? The question didnt even say anything about the performance of Aregbe, not to talk about acn..let's assume the policy was not or is not implemented, are you happy to praise the governor? won't you rather ask him to implement it? so why the bitterness..why are you attacking me for asking a simple question about the governmentpolicy? This explains why we cant hold our leaders responsible..Imagine that any of those shouting here are S.A or the governors?can they give him a meaningful advice? |
EVEN THOUGH HE HIS AN OKADA MAN,NIGERIA IS FULL OF GOOD PEOPLE WITH IDEOLOGY AND INTEGRITY A friend of mine narrated an incident that occur between herself and an Okada man in Kubwa area in Abuja some days ago. As she narrate the story, she was full of excitement and joy was seen all over her face. She explained that,Last week Tuesday around 9:30 p.m in the night, she took an Okada from the junction to her house in Kubwa, but upon the ride, she remembered that she will be traveling very early the next morning, but hardly would she get an okada that would be out by that time to pick her up from her house to the motor park. So she decided to ask the Okada man if he could come pick her up the next morning. She asked the Okada man who happens to be an Hausa man that, would he please come as early as 5:00 a.m to pick her up to the park and he said yes, though, she was not sure he would come, but she just accepted with faith and hope he fulfill his promise. The next morning around 5:00a.m,here comes the Okada man, pressing the horn to inform her of his arrival outside her gate, she was full of excitement even though she was not fully ready, she tidy up quickly and came out as the Okada man took her to the park. Upon reaching the park, she thanked him for coming to pick her,but he declined her thank, saying he only came to fulfill a promise he made willingly aswell as doing his business. why thank me for coming to pay my debt he asked? A promise is said to be adebt by Prophet Mohammed. She thanked all the same.. but to appreciate him further, she asked to know were he lives to have been able to come that early,he told her he lives in Zuba, another distant area . she was amazed how an okada man would come from that far to pick her up.In other to appreciate him, she gave him N500 instead of the normal N70 which is the normal price for the fare, but the Okada man declined to take the money,he asked her to give him N70,that is his price. She was so full with surprises, she begged the man to take the N500 as she was just giving him a gift, but he declined,he said he doesn't take such gift,if she want to give him a gift, that would be next time not when he offered her a service. In conclusion, she finally persuade him to accept N250 and he accepted and ride away. Some people would take bribe in the name of taking gift, some would blame indiscipline, lack of ideology and integrity on poverty, some would blame the government for their bad behavior. Dear brothers and sisters,Yes,Government is not doing well,Yes,Government is responsible for poverty and unemployment,Yes,Government is not helping,Yes Government is killing us in so many ways,But you are responsible for how your mind and brain works. You are responsible for selling your votes to Bad politicians,You are responsible for being a sycophants, you are responsible for your bad behavior, your immoral and negative ideologies. Abdul AOH |

DrProgress Africa Stev Leadership Lessons from an Ant "Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which, having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest." Proverbs 6:6-8 Do you want to make a difference? Then pay attention to the metaphor of the ant. It's amazing that one of the smallest of God's creatures can become one of His greatest teachers. The lessons the ant teaches us can be summarized this way: ... A- Attitude of Initiative Ants don't need a commander to tell them to get started. N- Nature of Integrity Ants work faithfully and need no outside accountability to keep them doing right. T- Thirst for Industry Ants work hard and will replace their anthill when it gets ruined. S- Source of Insight Ants store provisions in summer. If we consider and learn from the ways of the ant, we can grow wise. Excerpt from The Maxwell Leadership Bible |
Folarin Lawal Sode wrote Lagos has been the cornerstone of the opposition in Nigeria for sometime now, its the state where we all look up to when we want to condemn the umbrella and show them how to run a state. But recently I am beginning to believe that Fasola is probably tired of his party's strong hold on Lagos and may be trying to throw ACN's goodwill away eventually. I hope the oppositions are watching Fasola now o so they wont start crying of rigging in 2015? What is your view? |
