Something is wrong with Dangote prices if imported fuel can be cheaper or the same with him.
Dangote should bring down the price of the products, nobody will allow his monopoly.
He monopolised cement market and Nigerians can not afford the price again, even cement importation should be allowed.

Did anyone punished or Disgraced him like that when he was in the University.

Their parents should take it up even if your children is not among today.

Foreign Affairs › Iran's Currency Falls To All-time Low As Trump Declared Winner in USA Electi by Bimow(op): 8:10am On Nov 07, 2024
Iran's currency falls to all-time low as Donald Trump declared winner in the US election 2024

The Iranian rial at the moment, is being traded at an exchange rate of 703,000 for one dollar, when it used to be 32,000 for one dollar in 2015.

Iran's currency, the rial, fell to an all-time low on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 due to former US President Donald Trump being declared Winner in the US presidency for a second term, news agency AP reported.

The rial at the moment, is being traded at an exchange rate of 703,000 rials for one dollar.

The exchange rate used to be 32,000 for one dollar in 2015, at the time of the country's nuclear deal with world powers. When Masoud Pezeshkian was sworn in as president in May, the currency was down to 584,000 for a dollar.

The further fall in the rial comes amid the Iranian economy's struggle with crippling international sanctions due to its rapidly advancing nuclear programme, which now enriches uranium at close to weapons-grade levels, according to the report.

Pezeshkian came to power promising to reach a deal to ease Western sanctions. He was elected after a helicopter crash killed his predecessor Ebrahim Raisi in May.

Donald Trump victory plays an important role in the currency's value fall. In 2018, Trump as the US president unilaterally withdrew US from the accord in 2018, which created years of tensions between the countries that persist to this very day, the report stated

Iran is still locked in the Mideast wars with its allies including Palestinian Hamas, Lebanon's Hezbollah, and Yemen's Houthi rebels, all of which form the self-described “Axis of Resistance” against Israel.

Tehran also appears to be assessing the damage from Israel's strikes on October 26 which came as a response to two Iranian ballistic missile attacks.

Iran has also threatened to retaliate against Israel where US troops have a missile defence battery, according to the report.

Svoboda:
Hezbollah is an ideology. It can't die. No matter the targeted assassinations of its echelon. Hezbollah still possesses the capabilities to strike deep in Israel and inflict significant harm.

Hamas capacity is about 20 percent of Hezbollah but has survived 13 months of unrelenting and unprecedented aerial bombardment. Yet, Hamas still sends rockets into Israel. Israel hasn't been able to decimate Hamas and rescue hostages. The war on Gaza is considered a failure from the context of destroying Hamas as an objective. How much more battle hardened Hezbollah.

In 2006, Israel was defeated in southern Lebanon. 2024 will be a repeat.
I laughed in Ghanaian Ascents!
Hamas and Hezbolars are cowards and are dead!!!!

If the reform takes place, it would reduce the rate of corruption in this Agencies that act like gods .

Let them focus more on there responsibility ans job.
You lack understanding of how things work in that sector.

Worst Decision
Asiwaju and NASS should stop this nonsense decision, it will definitely drag Nigeria backward.
1. Obasanjo realised that the MDAs were spending more than what they generated, despite their potential

2. Obasanjo and Okonjo Iweala decided to give these Agencies a kind of autonomy, that is they must spend from what they generated and even send 20% of the money generated to Federal Government. Recently Asiwaju increased it to 50%

3. Since it's no work, no pay, they started working like private companies and make sure they generate 20 times what they used to generate.

4 These agencies became attractive because in the autonomy clause they are allowed to increase their salaries to a certain percentage of the money generated, the more they work the more money they generate and the more salaries and allowances they collect.

5. If Asiwaju and NASS takes away what motivated these agencies to work tirelessly, they only want to destroy institutions that are working and it will bounce back on us the IMPORTERS, and they will become like common Ministries where staff don't even go to work.

6. How will NIRS enforce the payment? NIGERIANS are not Americans or British that will pay Tax at will, it can only be enforced by the enforcement officers while carrying out their duties.

7 This move is a wrong decision that will drag Nigeria backward

8. Revenue may drop to 20%, and it will take minimum 10 years to recover, FIRS don't have speciallised trained staff for such job.

9. Collecting money from ship and Importers / Smugglers is like Mc Boys collecting money from bus drivers on the road, drivers will do everything to avoid the payment , but Mc Boys too knows how to run after them.
Many Ships will enter Nigeria and switch OFF Automatic Identification System (AIS), a devices that will make their arrival known to authority. However, Customs, NPA, NIMASA all have staff with over 20 years experience who also know how to detects the arrival of each Ship and run after them for payment.

Talk about Big Ship that pay heavily, but stay Offsore (inside ambala gbulu Oba Omi) to discharge and by International Law can only be boarded by Internationally certified officers, with JACOB LADDER
( THE MOST DANGEROUS PARTY OF THEIR JOBS )

NIRS BOSS AND HIS MANAGEMENT TEAM SHOULD GO AND BOARD A SHIP WITH JACOB LADDER ON THE HIGH SEA AND COME AND TELL NIGERIANS IF HE STILL WANT TO COLLECT THE REVENUE FOR NIGERIA..

https://www.dvidshub.net/video/314720/091027-g-0694d-sbt-roro

( specialised trainings, written exams and practicals are required to obtain the certificates)). Only Certified NPA, NIMASA CUSTOMS officers can go to high sea and board those Ship, do their duties check Ship engines, Oil, Seafarers Ship Certificates, Ship Licences (JUST LIKE VIO & ROAD SAFETY OFFICERS JOBs) , along with officer that will check their payments ( who must also be certified to board) . Please how many years will it take FIRS to train certified officers ?

If the right to collect Payment is taking away from those agencies, Trust Nigerian / Africa Ship Captains, they will insult any Officer that ask them about evidence of payment, they will simply ask

ARE YOU FIRS OFFICERS?
TELL FIRS OFFICERS TO COME ON BOARD ( They knew that they can't because they are not certified)

Talk about Customs blocking every loopholes, Nigerians only pay levies because someone is somewhere to enforce it

FOR ONCE NASS SHOULD PLEASE NOT BE A RUBBER STAMP, THEY SHOULD STAND AGAINST THIS WRONG MOVE PLEASE.
THEY ARE THERE TO CORRECT PRESIDENT ERRORS OR MISTAKES , SO THAT THE ENTIRE NIGERIANS WILL NOT SINK.

WHAT THE MARINE SECTOR EXPECT FROM THIS GOVERNMENT IS TO ENCOURAGE OR FORCE DANGOTE REFINERY TO OPERATE CIF INSTEAD OF FOB, THEREBY CREATE THOUSANDS OF JOBS FOR NIGERIA YOUTHS AND BIG CONTRACTS FOR NIGERIA INSURANCE COMPANIES AND DRAW MILLIONS OF DOLLARS INTO NIGERIA ECONOMY.
2% CABOTAGE + DANGOTE INVESTMENT IS ALL WE NEED TO MOVE FROM FOB TO CIF.

GOD BLESS NIGERIA

Once it's not physical abuse, they should resolve their differences.
