As of 2026, *no African country is 100% visa-free to Canada* for all travelers.

What Canada does offer is an *eTA exemption* for "known travelers" from 2 African countries. That means no visa needed, but you still need to apply online for an eTA before flying.

*African countries with eTA-only entry to Canada*
If you’ve had a Canadian visa in the last 10 years OR you hold a valid US non-immigrant visa, you can fly to Canada with just an eTA:
1. *Morocco*
2. *Seychelles* 0a29

These 2 were added to the eTA program a few years ago. With an eTA you can visit for up to 6 months for business or tourism. The eTA costs $7 and is valid for 5 years. 0a29

*Other African countries*
