my friend yes i got the letter but i thot that was obvious
anyhow ive gone for the medicals and lets see how it goes
to everyone who has received their letters i congratulate them once again and wish them the best in their quest with nlng

For those who may not be chosen now there are still other opportunities in may other places and who knows what tomorow may bring,

you may be right however all im sayin is that the letter specifically states that Please note that your participation in the medical examination is neither a confirmation of your success in your competitive excercise, nor a guarantee that we are offering you a job
Also my discussion with a staff of hammond on the issue whether a HIV test would be performed as i did not give my consent, revealed that that may not be a major factor as they have recruited people with positive status!!!

I dont know how true that is,,, but if it is I poty some ladies who may be chasing nlng boys or a guy who sees his chic as passport to ,

\i dont think passing medicals automatically qualifies one because you are not privy to the results of the test and also the letter has been writeem as an invitation test as against a firm offer
I dont think that is right because we are providing personal information oon the hope we are found worthy

The medical test shd be the final step in a DEFINITE offer as against whay they are doin
But that is the job market for you

PE means priivate equity ie some firms such as actis, vectis that have invested huge sums in shoprite, starcomms, multilinks and co
if fireigners are comin to invest here, what about us

Interestingly I dont know anybody in nlng so no gist
ON the issue of the job, my ambivalance comes from the fact that though i studied engr,i am already ACCA and seeming to do ok where i am, so to go or not to go,

I believe in excellence in what one does
For those who want to go for the masters i think they shd go but still keep a feet in naija as things are happening here, th emega banks, influx of PE firms and all etc
