I don't think anyone can play on open field now until Spring/Summer because of weather condition.

I played almost every weekend on sandy field back in Naija but everything is 100% diff here.

People play indoor game on turf here because of snow and cold outside until summer time when we can play on natural grass.

Open field is everywhere for all to play free of charge. They will even be the one to cut growing grass sef

It's 100% possible with Master degree here. I will advise you write GMAT or GRE then apply for Masters which will take you about 2years to complete.

Funny enough some areas in the south-west(US) are experiencing high temperatures and wondering if the winter is over.

Such is life, we cried about -6° weather in January and Califonia complained about over 80° heat.

Well unfortunately, the one time I visited in December some years ago, turned me off so badly, that I do not ever hope to be return during that month or any time during the winter season. It's just too much....the layers and layers of snow, the gray skies, the chilling wind that feels like it's biting one's face off etc., (they don't call it the windy city for nothing)....lol.
Been there during the summer and it was quite nice. Been there during all seasons except fall...which I wouldn't mind experiencing.

You can applied from Nigerian but your credentials and experience have to be competitive enough because the company employing you will spend money and other resources to get you here. They will file H1B visa for you.

You will used to it noni if you wanna be here in Chicago. Not always as bad as it is right now. It was 7years ago when they experienced snow storm like this. I heard they had 3days lockdown.

I was told about some Nigerian’s that started afresh despite their degree and work experience. Some went with MBBS and ended up as RN. I heard of a lawyer who migrated in his fifties to the US and had to start with security job.

You are right with those valid points raised, but if you have degree and experience in well recognized field, you can just go for your master here in U.S and you will be okay.

Reason why people with degree and experience choose to start over is to stay relevant and make more money.

For example, Masters in Accounting with CPA which will take 2 - 3years to complete can earn average salary of $50k while someone who started afresh and become RN which will take 4years to complete will may earn average salary of $60k.

Its all about your present situation and where you want to be in few years to come.
