Putin has confirmed everyone's perception of the Russian military. In a conventional war without nukes, they are weak. That's why with any provocation they threaten nuclear war like cowards, knowing that an outright nuclear war is a suicide attempt that will annihilate Russia and sadly the rest of the world. |
Yet another reason to convert all your fiat holdings to bitcoin. With inflation so high and nations printing worthless paper money, bitcoin is the only safe option. Everyone should be buying bitcoin right now like their lives depend on it. |
They've converted their assets to bitcoin. It will be very hard to declare. |
cyrusmillz:The mentions are too much. When I registered this moniker, there were very few mentions then. Mods used to ban and delete anything related to crypto back then so I wasn't getting much mentions. Now if someone quotes me, I won't even know unless I stumble upon the post. But it's really nice to see how the crypto space is thriving and growing, this thread is wonderful and educational.

seankafor:Literally the easiest and surest strategy. See you on the moon. |
This is eye-opening and a good reminder to always store your bitcoin in a cold wallet. Hopefully they are able to trace the wallet it was sent to but it may be a little too late. |
A step in the right direction, but I will continue to hold bitcoin instead. |
That's nice |
The same script year after year. If people had sold all the times China has "cracked down" or "banned" crypto, they would've missed out on the massive rally. I remember back in 2013 or 2014 when China pulled the same stunt and bitcoin dropped from around $900 to $200 a piece. There was panic, fear and uncertainty. Many people panic sold because the news media kept saying bitcoin will drop to zero. Ever since that time, there's been several crackdowns from China. Crypto is here to stay. If the Chinese ban it completely, miners will move to bitcoin friendly countries. Unlike fiat, crypto has no central bank so no country can shut it down, it's a network. I'm glad I've ignored all the noise all these years and I will continue to hold until we get to the moon. If you are a long term holder, stay strong while the weak hands sell. |
Stay strong longer term holders, this dip pales in comparison to previous dips. |
Just another day in the park. If you are new to bitcoin yeah this might be a shock to you. When you put things in context, there has been eleven 30%+ corrections in bitcoin's price since 2011. This is a normal bitcoin trading pattern and just like the previous times, this will turn out to be a nice buying opportunity. China has threatened a "crackdown" on crypto several times in the past and so many weak hands sell their coins only to regret it later on. I wouldn't be surprised to find out the Chinese government manipulates the price with fear mongering headlines only to buy the dip. Me and my household will continue to hold as we've been doing since 2013 and I suggest you do the same ![]() |
The world's central banks continue to print money out of thin air. 3rd world countries continue to take up loans they they can never pay back while your savings continue to lose value every year from inflation. Right now bitcoin is very volatile but it is the future of money. It is better than fiat as each unit is finite and can be accounted for in the block chain. Its supply is limited as well. I've been preaching this since 2013 when bitcoin was about $200 each. If some of your savings isn't in bitcoin, you stand to lose all your money as it loses buying power. |
How times have changed. There used to be a time when typing the word "bitcoin" on nairaland will get your banned, now I see bitcoin topics making front page. We are still heading to the moon. |
Congrats to them, they should be paid in bitcoin. |
For me the best way to express love for God is to always give him credit in public and private for all the good things he has done. When I achieve great things and people try to hail me or congratulate me, I just say thank God o all glory and adoration belongs to God. |
sircatherine45:Bitcoin is still king. Buy now, we are heading to $80k EOM |
This is an abuse of power. |
This should be a walk in the park. Go Arsenal! |
Really a sad moment. As if 2020 hasn't been a bad enough year already. I feel for their families. RIP |
One day 1 bitcoin will be worth the cost of a lamborghini. Anyway good for him. |
I wouldn't be surprised if this baby grows up to be one of the most celebrated Nigerian of all time. God bless this child. |
Welcome back home. They should now use all the knowledge and experience gathered abroad to help build this country. Truly, there's no place like home. |
Thanks for the mention. |
Buy bitcoins today, you will be worth more than Dangote in 20yrs. |
I just hope they don't sell us to the Brits. As a commonwealth of Gresf Britain, we should have a Visa-free relationship. Britain should invest billions into our economy, afterall the slave trade enriched Britain and made them a superpower in the Middle Age and wealthy country today. |
Bariga is overcrowded and the roads are muddy. These projects are desperately needed. |
It will end 1-1. |
Sad. And this is some people's role model. She openly uses crude and vulgar language even on twitter and she still has followers. What is the point of snapping picture of a receipt, just so you can brag or what? |
Hahaha the headline news coming out from this UN meeting makes me laugh like a drunk hyena. Just like yesterday I read another headline news that says something like "Buhari mobilizes Nigerian youths to plant 21 million trees." Man these things make me laugh so hard. ![]() |
Seems like Osinbajo is in the news more often lately. I wouldn't be surprised if this man runs for presidency next. It sure will be interesting. |
Good job, he is doing what is expected of him. The money spent rebuilding this fruit garden market isn't his money but that of his constituents. Still a commendable thing and he should be given credit. |
I bet you, the most popular female baby name for 2019 will be Tacha. This girl has become popular for all the wrong reasons but it wouldn't stop parents from naming their girls Tacha simply because its trendy. |
