oyinkinola: In the old days, people rely much on customary reign and their lives and properties were well protected, they resolved their 98% of their problems traditionally, even nowadays the constitution is never against the customary rule and regulations, every community has their own rule and regulation to protect them against any aggresors. But how yoruba and Igbo abandoned the tradition and rely fully on far away government for their resque, they look up for political set of government to solve their room problems. while Hausa/Fulani hold on, on tradition, value the customary rule and regulation to bring zaria and rule their region with it, yoruba and igbo render their customary rule and regulation ineffective and their oba and obi valueless for the political set up of government! I think yoruba and Igbo must blame themselves on any problem they were confronting in this country today. real talk |

johnw74: The Bible Clearly Shows That Rapture Will Happen In Future
@bold black, When a lot of people go missing at the same time, that's a big news event it will be reported all around the world, it hasn't happened yet.
1Co 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1Co 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
@red, The Lord hasn't come again yet, that would be a big event also. Why is it taking over 2,000 years? You guys have to really wake up he said clearly in my generation! |

joseph1832: On the contrary my good friend, I didn't agree, I only wanted to know, because that's the very nature of man.
Since before the coming of christ, evil has reign over this earth, God himself sent that evil here by casting Lucifer down to earth.
So, since you don't know or can not tell me when rapture will happen, I'll only believe all these are mere abstracts. You know, the kind of story you tell kids because you want them to behave well. That is excatly what it is a story to tell people of color that they are born sinners, ment to suffer and cursed from the tribe of Ham. That Israel thing with GEJ was such a freaking turn off, spending millions on rubbish excursions, for prayers. |

zzzzy: 2 Peter 3:3-4 KJV Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, [4] And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. Yes Peter was trying to save face because hundreds of years later he still did not come back. He said in his generation not your generation. Did you read what I posted? |
Christianity Etc › Re: The Bible Clearly Shows That No Rapture Will Happen Now Or In Future by Bitterleafsoup(op): 11:27pm On Mar 06, 2016 |
God2man: The Rapture is already moving closer.
666 Is with us.
Strange light falling from the sky in some Countries
Excessive heat in some States in Nigeria.
Strange creatures are moving into the earth.
Sin is multiplying.
Untimely death.
and so on.
Rapture is 100% sure.
God bless you.
God2man. Have you ever heard of global warming. So you think this is worst then Sodom and Gomorah? Even the main character had drunk sex with his daughters. 90 year old men Joseph marry 14 year old pregnant virgins my Dear is this time as bad as Biafran War and Vietnam War. That was the end of the World for millions. So your saying Jesus verily gave us a false prophecy? If you could read Aramacic or even Hebrew you would know why Jews said he is not the Christ. |

joseph1832: Well the average Nigerian is always lazy when it comes to reading....
As far as I'm concerned, I'm done with religion. Funny almost all those who call themselves religious (christian&moslem) can't even abide by the law they claim to follow, then again, who is now fooling who Yes I understand them though, every soul has a level. We happen to be mature to old soul because we have gone beyond believing that a power lays outside of ourselves. That we can do works greater then Jesus would not be comprehensible to a baby spirit. |

We simply need to ask the question" "To whom was Jesus speaking?" when he said "this generation"? It was delivered to Jesus' own disciples, times Jesus states numerous times that his own disciples would be witness to these very signs:
"Take heed that no man deceive you." (Matt 24:4) "...ye shall hear of wars, and rumours of wars..." (Matt 24:6) "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted..." (Matt 24:9) "When ye therefore shall see the the abomination of desolation..." (Matt 24:15) "But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter..." (Matt 24:20) "Behold, I have told you before." (Matt 24:25) |

sanmitee: To interprete that verse, you need to go check in Jesus' statement 'this generation'. He talked about some signs to come in Matt 24:34, about time of His coming. He said this generation (that witness or will be witnessing) such events shall not pass till His coming be fulfilled. (Matt 24:4-34). 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. My Dear it is very clear in his statement the verse is simple and to the point no guessing. He said THIS generation that is what it says. |
