The battles of Owerri, Oguta and Aba, there were nothing outstanding about the command qualities of Adekunle. Most field commanders threaten to quit. He sent E Utuk in command of 16th brigade to Owerri and the regiment was surround and allowed to die a slow death in Owerri. The 17th brigade under Ininih was sent back to Chokocho as dispirited and beaten unit. Also, 15th brigade under Makanjuola that took Oguta was given unceremonious eviction by 60th brigade under Major Asoya. The eviction was so rude that 15th turned into undisciplined regiment that massacred innocent civilians in Ogba/Egbama. The 13th under Major Oni refused to venture out of Igrinta as the regiment was caged by 52nd under Major Frank Okilo. The 12th brigade remained in Aba under Major Shande while 14th was holed up in Azumini. The 18th never left the vicinity of Ikot Ekpene. Where did Adekunle perform all these wonders that making dubious rounds on this forum? After the debacle in Owerri and Oguta including the fact that most of well- equipped fighting regiments had been reduced to boy scouts, Adekunle was redeployed as traffic control officer in Lagos. The dude was a wide-mouth con artist.

The truth though, is I have discussed with people with more Knowledge of Nigerian affairs and we've all come to the conclusion that if Nigeria was to split (amicably) there just is no way, realistically, trouble will not break out in Eastern Nigeria. The ghost of "Marginalization" is sure to find its way into that territory (because of the oil); the Ibos will now feel how it is to be accused (unjustly or not) of every ill that befuddles their new Republic. But, then again, knowing the Ibo and his high handed greedy nature, I think it will be safe to say that such accusations wont be far from the truth!

I sincerely believe that because he is more tolerant of his neighbor and is moderate in his religious belief (peace and stability being necessary for development), and is more educated and "Pro-Development", that if Nigeria was to split today the Yorubas would be better off of the 3 major tribes. Thats just the opinion of an outsider. . . .my opinion!

For the Ibo, "enough" is never enough; he wants it all even when theres nothing else more to grab. . . 13 fin*gered thieves! But, they'll forget that this aint 1960 no more. Them Niger Delta boys got some bad aszz guns. . . shiyyT, I seen em with my eyes on CNN! These boys are taking the Nigerian Army to war; and ARE WINNING!!! These kids forced the Nigerian Army to call a truce and grant amnesty; something Biafra couldnt do! Now, unleash them in close proximity to their target and watch hell rain from the skies! Anyway,when the minority becomes agitated; mayhem will be unleashed. Eventually, the Ibo (being the high handed motherfuxckka that he is by nature---he clearly hates to negotiate) will be seen as the "BULLY". Nobody likes a bully; ESPECIALLY NOT THE WEST (U.S.A, EUROPE, ETC). Even moreso, NOBODY LIKES THE IBO!!! Historically, the West would rather deal with either the Hausas or the Yorubas, anyway. BUT, remember, the Huasas (by virtue of the fact that the Nation has been split) would have been rendered obsolete and sent back into the 11th Century. The Niger Delta, seeking an ally, will turn to Western Nigeria. Western Nigeria doesnt have to be drawn into a "face to face" war with the human-flesh eating Ibos, nooooo. . . . they can render support ,covertly, or "on-behalf" of the West (Europe/U.S.A) for the  Niger Delta; but the Niger Delta will have to "pay" for this support from Western Nigeria. Details/Methods of payment can be hashed out later. Anyone thinking that The U.S.A will sit back and allow Ibos unleash terror on the Niger Delta, thereby destabilizing its Oil imports must be residing in Lala land! Anyone thinking The USA will deal with the Ibos, knowing how greedy, and cunning they are,  must be an even greater mo*ron than the average Ibo. . . . Ever wondered why The West will NEVER SUPPORT BIAFRA?! Its kinda hard dealing with 40 million EXTREMELY greedy motha effers. A buncha beasts that, historically, DONT support CENTRAL authority? Who wants to have dealings with them? Trust me, definitely not The United States.

Anyways, I left out a lot else that I could have used to make my picture clearer, but you guys are Yoruba so I believe you get the point. The West of Nigeria can definitely come out on top in all this, but they will have to let the Biafrans take the oil (and all the trouble that will come with it). Biafra's possession of the "prize" will be short-term; quote me on this. By the time the minorities rain terror on them, Ibos will only be too glad (even as greedy as they are) to relinquish possession of the Oil fields/Wells.
