CultureRe: The Hidden History Of White Slavery! by blackcat1: 3:49pm On Oct 18, 2012
The facts are that in the U.S.A

Negroes enslaved Whites, Negroes and Indians

Indians enslaved Whites, Indians and Negroes

Whites enslaved Whites, Negroes and Indians

White slaves were owned by Negroes and Indians to such an extent in the South that the Virginia Assembly passed a law against the practice!

These horrific deeds did not just happen to Africans

These horrific deeds happened to White Christian slaves to satisfy the "need for labor" on the plantations and in the factories of the elite, White and black

In 1670 the Governor of Virginia said that he had 2000 Negro and 6000 White slaves

Hundreds of thousands of Whites in colonial America were owned outright by their masters and died in slavery

Even the blacks knew this. If they were made to work too hard they accused their masters of

"treating them like the Irish"

Plantation slavery, the final stage of slavery in the United States, does not represent the entire history of slavery in U.S

This is historical fact

This is the Heritage of America

This is not taught in schools

Shame -- Shame -- Shame!

Do not break her marriage by telling her what happened. It's her husband's duty to tell his wife he has been unfaithful. Your duty as a friend is to keep away from her and her family FOREVER!

afam4eva: You mean the ones you imported or the ones that were invented later on?
chucky234: Which clothes are you referring to? Tribes walked naked before the whitemen discovered Africa, there was no such thing as traditional clothes except for palm fronds and plantain leaves.
I mean no disrespect but your ignorance seriously amazes me. Please read your history books. If you can post on nairaland it means you are connected to the internet so just use any of the search engines to enlighten yourselves. You will be amazed at how developed we Africans were before the aliens reached our shores.

diehard: Well, you didn't give me much to help you with. forex is a high risk base biz, your money can be wiped in a couple of weeks and you can also make money from it too. Above all else u need to invest in ur education, I mean biz wise. You must remember that bonds are low risk and low profit, and you cannot meet ur daily financial needs trading on them but ur money is save. For us to work out a biz plan, u ve to be fully involve in this. What needs can you find in the area where you live or work isan important question u need to answer. Or is the kind of biz you're looking for is the type that you can do on the side while you continue ur day job? If you must do a biz that meet ur daily financial needs your emotions must not be involved. I am yet to see an online forex trader that can live on his profit here in nija except our aboki brothers that trade on physical forex. There are lots of biz ideas i can suggest, but I need to know what you are willing to handle and is profitable. That is the reason I asked, what need can you SEE where you live or work?
I live in Europe but want to invest in Nigeria. If I had said that from the beginning the hawks would have been all over my thread. I want a biz that does not need me in Nigeria all the time. A biz I can convieniently do online or if its on ground in Nigeria, be able to follow the day today going ons online. Do you have some good suggestions for me?
CultureRe: Why Is 'Nigger' Offensive? by blackcat1: 12:33pm On Sep 28, 2012

diehard: It is ammazing that most people want the OP to give them his money, when he is only looking for a 'good biz' ideas for himself.
thank you

diehard: What kind of biz will interest you?
Non risky biz

diehard: what need can you find in the area where you live or work? How much time do you have to devote to grow ur biz?
Don't have much time on my hands so from the suggestions so far, I will prefer something like forex, bonds and the rest. Have read very good suggestions regarding the above mentioned on my thread but have zero to no idea on how to go about it.

diehard: How committed are you to make a biz work?
100%

wot abt 6 tyre tipper wt monthly roi of 200k.i am talking abt haulage biz.let me knw if u re interested so dat i can give u ful detail.delep78@hotmail.com
CGLfinance: For your low level of risk appetite, I'd suggest you get a secured haulage contract, and then get some brand new trucks. Fleet managers offer up to N400K monthly in Nigeria, I understand. In Ghana, you get GHC500/day (approx. N50,000/day). Standard 24 days a month = GHC12,000 or N1.2m. We could get you new trucks on deferred payment terms. If your risk level can accommodate such business, contact us at: caldwellinc@hotmail.com
As for the suggestions above, the question below discouraged me from even thinking about this line of biz

godello: If haulage business pays dat much how come the managers dont get trucks of their own bt rather prefare collecting trucks frm others and paying them.
and the answer "chemashie" gave confirmed my fears.

chemashie: You go fear those managers now, you have to abandon ur work & become a truck conductor to make half of the quoted money. U need serious odeshi to succeed in the hands of the herbalist truck drivers.
My business is importation of fast selling goods online. U only need to advertise your product using facebook ads, google ads, newspaper etc. www.facebook.com/NaijaMarketPlace

A Spectacular Palace Fit For A King but Which King? Israeli Architects Erect Stunning Palace in Nigeria
By Adeola Adeyemo

Palaces are built for kings, right? Well we don’t know the king who owns this but it’s definitely worth looking at. The palace was built in Nigeria by Israeli architects Shalom Davidovich and Hanan Peri of PeriDavidovich Architects.

In a piece published by Israeli news site Haaretz, the architects spoke about the features of the palace and the processes in its development.

The team received the invitation from the ‘mogul’ and his wife to prepare a detailed proposal for designing and furnishing a “palace”. At the start, they created a 3-D animation of what the proposed building would look like, both inside and out. Over the course of seven months, they prepared a simulation of all the spaces in the palace down to the lighting, colour of the marble and design of armchairs.

They presented the clip to the client and he and his family gave them a yes.

After six years, the palace is now a reality in Nigeria. It is situated on a 35-dunam (roughly 10-acre) plot near the village of Issele-Uku in the Delta state, and covers an area of 12,000 square meters. These are divided (in the main structure) between a basement, an entrance floor and a residential floor, and among a large number of buildings, including a servants’ house and an entry pavilion used by the security guards.

The architects also noted that the client and his wife already had houses in the cities of Lagos and Abuja in Nigeria, as well as in Europe and the Persian Gulf. The new house is meant to be used for family vacations and on holidays, as well as serving as a luxurious residence in which to host – and impress – guests.

It boasts of large guest rooms, separated from one another, because he [the owner] likes to maintain distance between the guests; corridors that make it possible to pass among the spaces without being seen; a smoking room and an indoor pool.

The capacious premises also house a cinema, discotheque, hair salon, bowling alley and separate 350-square-meter suites for the couple, as well as a selection of guest suites. It also has its own water-purification system and electrical generator.

Photos of the interior and exterior parts of the palace

nexeee: ...a child needs to know that things are hard...
Your son is still a baby. There will be time enough to teach your son life's values. For now just let your wife spoil her first born. Learn to pick wars you can win...believe me you cannot win or come between a loving mother and her baby.

As for the purchases...she will use them when you have other kids. Congrats on becoming a father. Welcome your wife and son at the airport with hugs and smiles.
