If i am told never to question the quran, mohamed, then hell yeah i will gladly remain an atheist.
If i am told that no compulsion in Islam, yet when i decide to leave Islam a fatwa of death is hanging on my head, the suni and shia scholars agree to this, then i love been an atheist.

1. Declaration of faith - (Shahada)
2. Prayer - (Salat)
3. Obligatory Charity - (Zakat)

1.DECLARATION OF FAITH (SHAHADA)
"Therefore, believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and in the Light (this Qur'an) which We have sent down. And Allah is All-Aware of what you do."

2. PRAYER (SALAT)
“Verily, As‑Salaah (the prayer) is enjoined on the believers at fixed hours”.

"And establish prayer and give zakah and bow with those who bow [in worship and obedience]".
(Quran 2:43)

4. PILGRIMAGE (HAJJ)
"And proclaim to the people the Hajj [pilgrimage]; they will come to you on foot and on every lean camel; they will come from every distant pass.That they may witness benefits for themselves and mention the name of Allah on known days over what He has provided for them of [sacrificial] animals. So eat of them and feed the miserable and poor".

5. FASTING (SAWM)
"O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous".
(Quran 2:183)

even the shia Muslim don't accept these 5 pillars of faith in Islam as a norm, my sufi brothers will say is more than that 5.... Which boils down to what i said anyone can pick whatever he likes as his own pillar of faith or belief.. Since mohamed, Allah never said these are my own pillar of faith in Islam.
