Pricing, who will invest in a sector were there is no profit? only Government for social reasons, electricity generation, transmission, & distribution is a business for the private sector, the price of electricity will probably triple if it is fully deregulated, & handed over to a competent private sector, then NLC will call for nation wide strike, right now today we are at the mercy of quacks thanks to Jonathan Ebele.

Electricity is there, it is reel time it can’t be stored, as you generate you use, Nigeria’s problem like in everything is maintenance, transmission & distribution is the problem, all the Countries that have rights to the River Niger like us, have better electricity than Nigeria. Nigeria loses more electricity it generates, than it supplies.

They have constant electricity, their transmission is up to par, thanks to the french, not these jagajaga you have in Nigeria, electricity is a business for the private sector, Nigerians don’t want to pay the international price, so you get what you pay for, get the pricing right for profitability, the private sector will fix the inadequacies, but Nigerians will not want to pay, the Military as a carrot to stay in office, subsidized everything for them, now today for them to pay the real cost for anything is a problem, they want it free, they even have a word for it “ awoof”.
