It is never true. Here in Ghana they are taking over Dstv. I know in Nigeria too, they are increasing their market share. I was in their office today. I'll go and buy 2 canal+ decoders . I'm severing ties with Dstv tomorrow.

I haven't come across this problem before but first try to do decorder to decorder programming then if it doesn't work, I suggest you consider swapping the chip(processor) and reprogramme it. You need to find a technician who is used to it.

From my investigation, Irib is no more coming back to Arabsat 20E. Iranian Authorities see the cost of Arabsat 20E leasing/Renting, as a wasteful drain on their economy. Given the fall in oil prices, Iranians are not prepared to spend huge sums for space on Arabsat 20'E. No hope for Irib's return.
