We forget the north is a region and not an ethnic group. The ethnic groups have little to nothing to do with each other outside of being north of the Niger and Benue rivers but we want to group them as one. Buhari has ran an election every single election season and has always lost. When he wins on a state level the margins are still close. The truth is that Buhari doesn't have broad appeal to the North. While his Fulani brothers, and Hausa associates may be ok with him (usually the poorer more radical of these two groups), there are hundreds of groups in the North that constantly say no to Buhari every single 4 years.

My proof that the same buhari people saying that if GEJ came to the north there would be no crowd, that there's no PDP in Kano etc etc. GEJ rocked Kebbi and Sokoto, and supporters came in waves. I've never been one to believe in crowd counting because I'm not naive about how it works in this country but truth be told a GEJ crowd in the north is different for one clear reason.

These people risked their life to see GEJ. All month we have been hearing that people will be attacked, PDP members are being attacked. We have video footage of a truck being destroyed. We saw what happened last year. Plus there's now Boko Haram in the north that can hide among crowds, and still tens and thousands of people risked their life to see GEJ that were told to have been his 'enemies'.

This action has revived my respect for the North. It seems there's more to be known about the people of the North than the media allows us to hear. If there was a risk of death most southerners wouldn't even go to their own father's rally.

1. The northerners will be aggrieved that he disrespected the dead especially their heroes in Muritala who was aasasinated and Yaraudua who fell I'll like anybody could. Such a slight will not go unavenged at the pooling booths.

2. If it is indeed true that Buhari is terminally I'll, the Yoruba will gladly vote Buhari knowing that Osinbanjo will takeover the same way Jonathan did after Yaradua f passed on to the great beyond.

3. If it is indeed true that Buhari is terminally I'll, Christians all over the country will vote Buhari knowing well that a Christian Pastor will become President.

4. People who have not made up their minds which party to vote for but have lost loved ones will find this advert very distasteful and will swing their votes to Buhari out of sympathy.

5. People who currently suffer from one ailment or the other will feel slighted and will vote for Buhari out of a sense of communion.

4. WHY did he now try to twist the same bombing as an attempt by the same MEND to 'assassinate' him, just after the organization was reported to endorse Buhari?

5. WHY at the beginning of the Chibok girls kidnapping he and his government were clearly ONLY concerned about the image of his government, not about the fate of the innocent girls?

6. WHY didn't he show prompt, genuine and compassionate reaction to the recent BAGA killings, only for him to send condolence message to the French president for the terrorist attacks there, even though the casualties in the french attacks were only A FRACTION of the casualties in the Baga attacks?

7. Generally, why does he seem much more concerned about the votes of the northerners, Christians and Muslims, than about the security of their lives and properties?
