Dear nairalanders, pls I’m new here. I just want y’all candid opinion or advice on what I’m about to say pls .

There’s this particular guy I met way back in school, we dated twice but the relationship didn’t really last due to the fact that we were not really into each other. But after graduation, we continued talking, seeing each other, going out etc. He later moved to Lagos and yet the communication between us is still very strong.

I noticed few months ago that I’m deeply in love with this guy and actually want something serious with him. I think about him like almost every time. He tells me about how he likes me, how he doesn’t want to ever end our friendship and many sweet things. I feel he likes me too but doesn’t talk like he would ever ask me out.

Sometimes I try to forget about him, muted his WhatsApp status when he posted a pic of a girl. Gave him signals but it seems like he is okay being friends with me. I don’t know, I’m just confused .i fear rejection, reason why I haven’t shoot my shot just yet. I’m really in love with him.

Although, I have a boyfriend, but I don’t really love him as much. I felt being in a relationship will help me forget about the guy but my feelings towards him didn’t change.
