I met President Tinubu three times to help with PDP's reconciliation because Wike was used to destroy us, and he was amenable (open) to the reconciliation. I even swallowed my ego to meet Wike at his house in Abuja, but Wike told me he's already a conqueror and has taken all the positions in the PDP. I thought the PDP convention wouldn't hold, so we'd withdraw our cases in court and come to a negotiation, but neither the presidency nor Wike called me back - Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State

Students of the University of Ibadan who gained admission in August 2023 are approaching their final year and have expressed appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu for policies they say have positively affected their academic journey. In a message shared by Oladayo Hassan Baruwa, the students acknowledged the President’s earlier promise to maintain a stable academic calendar in public higher institutions, noting that the commitment has helped prevent disruptions often caused by prolonged strikes or irregular schedules. The message also highlighted the introduction of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which provides financial support for students, describing it as another promise fulfilled by the administration. In addition, the statement noted that lecturers have benefited from salary reviews and improvements in welfare, which the students believe contribute to stability within the education sector. It further mentioned that major infrastructural projects are currently ongoing in public tertiary institutions through the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), aimed at strengthening the learning environment across campuses https://x.com/TheNationNews/status/2033166881280938073 |

If it is not mischief, then what is it? A man increased the state allocation by triple and yet he has not earned their admiration. If it is not h@te, what is it called in your place? A man moved power to the grassroots and they said he hated the poor. Tertiary institutions now run thier normal calender without interruption. The last time we enjoyed this stability in our universities was under General Gowon. Today, if your son and your neighbour's son are admitted into a public and a private university at the same time respectively, they would graduate at the same time.. The children of the poor need not break their mothers' necks under fire wood fetching before they are educated to the university level. Tinubu, as light has shown brilliantly on them. Will these people forget their benefactor on the 16th of January,2027? Paul said no, "Ka ma ri"!! Retirement since Obasanjọ's time to the early part of this year has been like a hell in waiting. Workers feel felt as if they were going to the Golgotha. But the yoke has been lifted. 100 % gratuity is no longer a dream. It is a reality. Can the man who thinks of the poor first in everything be denied continuity? Let us know the number of problems we have in Nigeria and let us know too the number Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has solved. May be this arrangement will keep you safe from hypertension. May Nigeria win🇳🇬🇳🇬 Chinondu Wokocha https://x.com/ChinonduW/status/2032569484842524925 |
President Donald Trump said tonight the United States bombed “every military target” on Iran’s Kharg Island and threatened to attack the island’s oil infrastructure if Iran continues blocking ships from traversing the Strait of Hormuz. “Moments ago, at my direction, the United States Central Command executed one of the most powerful bombing raids in the History of the Middle East, and totally obliterated every MILITARY target in Iran’s crown jewel, Kharg Island. Our Weapons are the most powerful and sophisticated that the World has ever known but, for reasons of decency, I have chosen NOT to wipe out the Oil Infrastructure on the Island,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “However, should Iran, or anyone else, do anything to interfere with the Free and Safe Passage of Ships through the Strait of Hormuz, I will immediately reconsider this decision,” Trump added. CNN has reached out to US Central Command for more information. Kharg Island is a five-mile-stretch of land off the Iranian coast that had seemingly been left untouched during the first two weeks of the war with Iran. The critical island handles roughly 90% of the country’s crude exports. Trump grew irritated with Fox Radio host Brian Kilmeade in an interview that aired this morning for asking whether the US would go after Kharg Island, calling the question “foolish.” “I can’t answer a question like that. … You shouldn’t be even asking it. It’s one of so many different things. It’s not high on the list, but it’s one of so many different things, and I can change my mind in seconds,” Trump said. Experts have argued that attempting to capture or attack Kharg Island would require a significant number of ground troops — something the Trump administration has so far been reluctant to call in. https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news/iran-war-us-israel-trump-03-13-26?post-id=cmmpi430u00003b6vdy9uni3k |
